The only part of this season's finale which was enjoyable watching was the wedding and scenes between Chase & Cameron. The writers made a very big mistake in reducing their roles because everyone that I know likes them best.
The rest of the finale was boring, unexplainable, and hopefully they will keep House in the mental health facility until the writers figure out how to go back and write a great show like it was in the beginning but not now.

I liked the season finale untill I found out that everything invovling huddy was a lie. Which also ment House was still hallucinating, I do like that he is going to the mental health facility. I think it gives the story more dynamics, like the team has 2 solve cases themselves, we get 2 see if any1[mainly cuddy&wilson] miss house, of they will try 2 help house, what the hospital s like w/out House. Also what the heck is up with House!!! Is he losing his mind, will the hallucinations top, will he tell any1 that he truly wants 2 be w/cuddy?? I need it 2 be september already, I must see season6!!

thought it was very sad. Just hope House doesn't come back TOO different; liked him just the way he was

Doesn't this mean he loses his medical license now?

As for Chase and Cameron....they were engaged in real life, but it was broken off in...2007 I think. How weird do you think THAT scene was?? LOL

I really enjoy house because the story line is so full of sublties and hiden meanings. I think this is why I
never get tired of reruns. Theres always something new to discover that changes the meaning or intent.
I sometimes think a series can be to deep because the U.S. is being dumbed down, and the viewer cant grasp
the story fully. I concure I hope House comes back as the Dr. we know and love or better. The finale was a
shocker too. The face of House could change drastically, good bad or different I'm game!

i don't know if the wedding was a cruel joke or an attempt to get the actors back together because

there are pictures of not only the wedding, but the reception, cutting the cake, cameron with cake on the side of her face with chase kissing her cheek, back of the limo.

Not sure why these have not released on fox like the did with kunters memorial,

Maybe these pictures will be seen in september

these most have spent an entire day taking doing nothing but these picturtes

I think that Cuddy and Wilson are the only two that know about it. And Wilson mentioned it in a previous episode that he could get him in under an alias with a friend in Philadelphia. So I think that his license is safe so long as nobody else finds out that he is Dr. Gregory House.

That was a great season finale, ive seen every episode of House, most of them more than once. It was a brilliant twist that nobody expected and it left next season completely open for anything. After the episode prior to that where he (and everyone watching) thought he detoxed, was going clean, he and cuddy had started some kind of relationship most people have expected or wanted to happen way before now and it was all a hallucination and of course it made sense if you had been watching prior to. The hallucinations are apparently being caused by his abusing the vicodin(which he thought he had fixed and detoxed) so now we dont really know if its the pills that he's going to have to come off or the worse case scenario of some form of dementia which yes would cost him his license if anyone finds out so the possibilities are endless at this point and I think its the first time in years that ive been surprised by an episode and it was a great way to do it. Hugh Laurie plays that character as good or better than anyone else on tv plays their role, so I cant wait to see where it goes from here. Honestly, it was starting to become the same thing every episode, in the earlier seasons patients died, people made mistakes, House didnt always save the day at the last few minutes (like the episode thats going off right now, the pregnant woman died and her baby lived and the father had to make the choice). It needs the unpredictability back and also it might be nice to see more of a personal side of him, see him more vulnerable, see him scared and unsure instead of always knowing he's right, never doubting himself or needing anyone or acting like he needs anyone. This could give his character a chance to build a real relationship and friendship with wilson. It will be interesting to see how he copes with the pain, how he deals with rehab, the affect it will have on his ability to do his job the way he always has. I personally think that the internal conflict that he's having with himself that he's going to have to figure out how to win will have a lot more options and possibilities rather than going up against another person like Tritter or Vogler when you already know that House is going to win those battles everytime anyway thats just my opinion as a die hard fan from day 1, I dont want to see House turn into a predictable show where you already know the sick person is gonna live its just a matter of how, when, who, thats always been the beauty of it, I dont wanna know that the person will live, etc, etc. I wanna know that people are gonna make mistakes, people wont always get better, surprise us. The last thing I want is for House to turn into ER or Greys Anatomy or a Doctor version of CSI, Law and Order and/or every other tv show that you know theyre gonna figure out all the answers, anyway just food for thought, my humble opinion

The series will be back in Sept. if that is what you are asking? The season finale (season 5, episode 24) can be seen on Fox.com

Both Sides Now @ Fox . Com

I hope this answered your question.

I completely agree! They have made big changes with the production crew over on the show, and I suspect it will suffer as a result. I was lucky enough to go to the wrap party at the end of the season before the changes were made. The shows writing is great, so I hope it continues to be as good as it's been. I wonder how the cast will react after the hiatus. You'd think since the show is so successful they'd wouldn't mess with it.

House is scheduled to return on September 21st along with "Lie to Me".

Yea right. That's usually how it works. Just as something is peaking (or has peeked in popularity), they decide to cancel it or change it, and just royally screw it up.

someone should make a picture of house and cuddy that would be sooooooo cute!

I'm pretty sure, somewhere around here, is a thread with photoshopped pictures.
