There's a new interview out with Michael Shanks from sometime in April. In the interview he's asked about working with Jeffrey Donovan

Jeffery, though, he’s a nimble fighter, agile. He’s a black belt. I’m a bit more of a boxer and he was certainly a lot more adept at the choreography than I was.

and Bruce Campbell

He’s self-effacing, he’s very funny, and very down to earth.

and is even asked who would win a Jack Bauer vs. Michael Westen smack down. But who does Shanks think will win? To find out AND to read the full comments about Jeffrey and Bruce, check out the interview by Sara M. Harvey at Apex Book Company. The part relevant to Burn Notice is in the middle.

Thanks Cats, that was a fun read smile.gif. Michael always seems to come across as your bast bud.

I loved his comments about MW Vs. JB, and glad he got to hang with BC since he's such a fan.
I must admit that I, like him, do not read much these day, but I too am a big movie fan. We could hang laugh.gif
I am intrigues about his new projects, I hope I can catch some of them on the tube.

Thanks for posting smile.gif

This was a fantastic interview - thanks for sharing it with us, Catsmeow!

I loved all kinds of things about the interview, but especially enjoyed this:

SH: That’s wonderful! It’s good to hear he’s [Bruce Campbell] really so genuine. By the way, I hear the same thing about you from my Stargate friends.
MS: Haha…well, it’s true about Bruce. He’d probably punch me in the face if he heard me waxing poetic about him.

LMAO!!!!

I also loved Michael Shanks' choices of favorite sci fi movies. Guess he's a big James Cameron fan, eh? wink.gif I loved the first two Terminator movies, and I'm very much looking forward to the upcoming one. My cousin and I have been wanting to see a Terminator flick in the theater together for forever, so we're planning to see it together on opening night. Bonus will be seeing BN actress Moon Bloodgood onscreen for the first time!

Thanks again, catsmeow - Michael Shanks is awesome. I'm gonna miss him come season 3.

Whoops! Let me bump this back to the top, where it belongs.

*Love* Michael Shanks since Stargate. Thanks for sharing the interview.

Hey Phi, I think you're absolutely correct on that one, the new Terminator flic with Christien Bale should be top-notch; I'm looking forward to it, too. I think, on the other hand, the new Trek flic will be a disappointment sad.gif (have not seen it yet, though). I'm old-school Trek and it looks like they monkeyed with the 'history' royally ... I hate that!! .... on the other hand, the gal who plays Uhura looks HOT!!

I have just read the interview and I just love the fact that Bruce actually spoke to Lexa his missus on the phone...bless him...I so love this guy...unfortunately I won't be able to see him at LFCC but I am getting something signed via a good friend...she is so good to me she got a birthday card I had from a friend signed at Vancouver....

Sorry that the front is so small but I think you get the jist of it....

I am REALLY looking forward to T-4 or whatever they're calling it. But how did I miss the fact that Moon Bloodgood is in it?!? Bad fan girl! No Biscuit! tongue.gif

Wonder if the spam was the reason why I had SO MUCH TROUBLE getting into the site last night. The pages took FOREVER to load! I wanted to reply in several threads but gave up in the end. Seems better today, though. So far. Knock wood. smile.gif

Nice article. Thanks for the link. Too bad they killed his BN character.
