Full Version: Isaebel did not like Heidi in the wound or out

Remember that pregent Lily had a pain in her belly when she spied on Heidi. Isabel never liked Heidi. I think she needs her mom's attention/love to keep her power strong. Why did Isabel harm her father outside the jeep in a previous episode. I think to protect Lilies image of Isabel.

I think you mean "in the womb" not "in the wound"

I think that Isaebel doesn't like her at all, more or less because she is jealious. As for her hurting her dad. I don't think she did that... remember his foot was cut in that show... he never did go to the hospital to have it looked at. If she was able to make the berries on the bush grow quickly perhaps she healed her dad. I'm sure she has a lot of abilities they haven't let us know about yet.

He did go to the hospital I remember them saying they were low on money after the visit to the emergency room. I think it was in the second episode of season 2.

Decided to do some research on the human spleen and, as I remembered, it is in fact primarily responsible for the production of white blood cells (umlike in other mammals where it is the repository of 50% of the RED blood cells). So, here's a thought: is it possible that Isabelle is looked upon by Heidi's immune system as an antibody, maybe because of Lily's shared genes somehow, and Isabelle neutralizes the threat to her by destroying Heidi's spleen? It would certainly explain the unlikely choice of that organ as the one to fail, given Heidi's age......

Maybe Isabelle is just evil and no one wants to admit that for some reason, so there is a tendency to come up with crazy ideas to justify her behavior?

Any child her age would infact be "evil", we learn what's right and what's wrong through mental conditioning from our parents and society over many years. A young child wouldn't be able to understand any concepts such as empathy or right and wrong.

As I said with my definition of 'evil' on another thread, it's based strictly upon the animalistic (and at that age, necessary) satisfying of needs free from conscience or a moral structure. BTW, 'crazy ideas'? Mark my words, there is definitely serious significance to it being Heidi's spleen that's adversely affected - nothing crazy about it, and to render Isabelle as solely 'evil' is to demean the character of this show and its fans, thank you very much! I can say with some certainty that this is NOT merely "Rosemary's Baby" redux.....

I don't really think you can put her in the same mold as a normal baby. You have to assume she is far more advanced then her age.

It could be as simple as sibling rivalry.

I wouldn't say that at all, most of the 4400 to date couldn't control their power at first while they were grown adults. I believe something is 'programmed' into her controling everything.
