As far as I know it is a SEASON finale not a series finale! There will be Season 6 to the best of my knowledge.

Hugh has already signed a contract up to 2011/2012. So if nothing very unexpected happens, House will have at least 8 seasons ( That's what we all hope for, I guess

Yeah, u r exactly right, right after he signed on for season 8 he became the executive producer. That is also why that credit/title it isn't in the beginning or ending credits, he was 2 modest, he didnt want 2 have his name show up twice. So cute!!
