It was amazing the number of people that like Harry Potter and Psych, so I just wanted to see what you guys here think.

I love Harry Potter!!

tea would have perfectly acceptable because they are british. if you had actually read the books, you would know that pumpkin jucie would have been OK too.

Love them both....I have Seasons 1 and 2 of "Psych" on DVD. In terms of Harry Potter, I own all the books (and have read them at least twice!), a spell casting game (kind of like rock, paper scissors), a Harry Potter themed "Clue" game, "Harry Potter UNO", and every movie that has ever come out!!!! Gee, I'm not a fan of both now am I? *cough cough* NOT!!!!!

You just reminded me: I do have a lego Harry Potter too!!!! And a plastic wand that I used for Halloween one year...haha!!!!!

well, i love psych and like harry potter (mostly cuz daniel radcliffe is sorta hot), so psych totally beats hp.
also, it's kinda hard to compare the two cuz one is a tv show and the other is a movie, one is more for older people (like teens and up) the other is more for everyone or atleast under 30 or 40, so they're not really in the same catergory....
(I'm just sayin)

Yeah but you know what the funny thing is? I went to a place called "Mid-Evil Times" which is kind of like a dinner theater. When you get there, they divide the audience in four sections and each section has a knight that they have to cheer for. Each knight then has certain colors that are "their" colors and you can only buy gear in those colors unless you go into the gift shop. Well, my knight's colors were the same colors as Gryffindor and I'm actually a Slytherin!!!! (I don't know why though but nine times out of ten when I take quizzes about which house I would be in, despite the fact that I give answers that would most likely put me in Gryffindor, I end up getting Slytherin!!!!)

i took those quizes on harrypotter.com and i got gryffidor most of the times!
where is this "mid-evil times" place? i must locate it!

The one I went to is in Maryland but they have a few other locations too...I'm not entirely sure where though. But yeah, every time I take one of those Harry Potter quizzes I end up as Slytherin and my best friend (who's also into Psych thanks to me!!!) either gets Hufflepuff or Gryffindor, but we're not sure why.

I love Psych and I like Harry Potter, though I don't think there is a point of comparison as they seem to have different genres. Also, both of them possess different "powers" and I guess HP is much darker than Psych.

What's wrong with being a Slyth??

Yeah I did mean Midevil Times but had no idea how to spell it. Yeah I love being a Slytherin but it just kind of suprised me because that's not my personality at all. But it's kind of cool, we would get good marks in Potions (since I would probably stink at that) and I was watching one of the special features for one of the movies and they were talking to the main Slytherins (Draco, Goyle, and Crabbe) and they said as a joke that if you're in Gryffindor, you have to be pretty good whereas in Slytherin you can slack off a bit, so that's a plus and why I like being Slytherin!!!!

i should probably be in slytherin too cause its human nature to think good of your self, so we would like to be in gryffindor, but we just can't

What do you think pur psych characters would be in?

This is purely a guess, but here's what I think:
Slytherins: Shawn, Gus, Lassie, and Henry. Henry and Lassie seem to match that personality a little bit and Shawn and Gus are slackers (Shawn more than Gus) so they would probably have a lot of fun in Slytherin.
Gryffindor: Jules because of her personality. She's kind, sweet, caring...everything a Gryffindor is.
Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff: the Cheif because she seems to display traits of both houses.....I'm not quite sure why though. I could also see Buzz being in here for some reason but I don't know why
Any thoughts?

the only problems i have with that are lassie and gus
gus is a ravenclawn, and lassie would probably be a muggle

Yeah that's a thought that never occured to me: Can you imagine how annoyed Snape would be with Lassie? haha!!!!!

very annoyed because they are so similar, and people like that tend to not like people who are like them

I can just see the look on Snape's face if he got annoyed with Lassie!!!! (or vice versa!!)

Lassie is definitely a Slyth.
Gus and the Chief would be in Ravenclaw.
Buzz is a Hufflepuff.
Henry is Gryffindor. He's a stickler for the rules; no way would he be breaking them.
Jules would be a muggle, but only because there isn't really anything special about her, imo.
I can't decide whether I'd put Shawn in Slytherin or Gryffindor. He's not afraid to break rules to solve cases or do things his own way. However, he does do things for his own convenience/personal gain. Ultimately, I'd say he's a Gryffindor.
