A TEACHER'S MURDER SHOWS DETECTIVES TO ANOTHER MURDER AND POSSIBLY EVEN MORE

Goren and Eames probe the suspicious death of Regina Scott, a Christian academy teacher; their investigation soon leads them to another murder of a mentally-illed mechanic. The detectives soon learn the connection between the two lands them to a molestation case of a seven year old girl, Peyton Murrow. Her father, Tom Murrow, believes the mechanic molestated his daugther and tries to protect her by getting help of an overzealous, self-indulgent lawyer, Mitchell Gunther. The detectives eventually discover more twists to this weird case.

*Ext. St. Martha's Academy - Outdoor Hallway
(We see the old architecture of the church turned academy, and as we see the hallway that looks like a long gothic-like archway)

(We soon see a priest, Rev. Aldymire, walking by along with other children and some adults; and soon we see Mrs. Regina Scott, a beautiful 2nd grade teacher, comes up to the reverend)

Regina: (Trying to catch up with him) Reverend Aldymire!

Rev. Aldymire: Mrs. Scott! (Greeting her) What’s the matter?

Regina: I hope you remember that case I told you about two weeks ago.

Rev. Aldymire: I think I still have that paper you gave me. Why? You need my opinion.


Regina: No! It just me and Frank had an earlier vacation, so I just wanted to let you know in case you forgot.

Rev. Aldymire: Don’t worry, I still have it. And I’ll put it on your desk the first thing tomorrow morning, okay. (Smiling)



Regina: Okay. Thanks, father!

Rev. Aldymire: (Nodding bye and heads off)



Regina: (Showing a awkward face once the reverend leaves)

*Int. Mr. and Mrs. Scott’s Residence – Living Room

(Shifts to nighttime as we see Regina talking to someone on the wireless phone)



Regina: (Concerned about something) Listen, I understand. And I’m doing the best thing possible okay. I finally got a chance to talk to the reverend again earlier today, and once we talk the first thing tomorrow; everything will be right back to where it should.



(Listening to the other person on the line for a bit)



Regina: No, whatever you don’t frantic her. Can I talk to her again? I reached out for her last time. I hope I can do it again.



(Listening to the other person on the line)



Regina: (Signaling relief) Thank you, I won’t disappoint. (She hangs up)



(As she puts the phone back on the hook, she notices a new message; she looks at it and listens to it)



Shady voice (message): Listen you witch, if you say anything to that girl I will kill you! (And then the voice message ends abruptly)



Regina: (Shocked; she instantly deletes the message; showing a serious concerned face)

*Int. Murrow’s Residence – Peyton’s bedroom

(We soon shift to another house and then we see a girl’s room all filled with Hello Kitty and Hannah Montana stuff. We then see a seven year girl, Peyton Murrow getting in her bed as her father, Tom Murrow, sits by her)



Tom: Hey sweetie! You’re in the cover?!



Peyton: (Pulling her Hannah Montana cover by her) Yes.



Tom: Good girl; good night my princess. (Smiling again and then kisses on her forehead)



Peyton: (As she sees her daddy leaving) Daddy, is that monster still in the house?



Tom: (Worrying about the awful event she had) No, sweetie! That nasty monster is long gone by now.



Peyton: But Mrs. Dudley told me sometimes monsters always come back from under the bed or from the closet.



Tom: (Holding her closely) Don’t be afraid, my princess; that monster is gone. He hurt you before, now I’m going to do whatever I can to stop him from coming back to this room again. I will not let that monster hurt you again! Promise?



Peyton: Promise! (Agreeing, but still worries that monster will hurt her again)



(Eventually, she goes lays down and goes to sleep; Tom kisses her on the forehead again and turns on the nightlight as he turns off the lights; before he leaves, he looks at his sweet and innocent daughter and worries that creep who hurt his girl before will strike again)

*Int. Murrow’s Residence – Dining Room

(We soon shift back to the Murrow’s house, this time we see it’s a day after last night and we see it’s in the afternoon. We see Tom and his attorney, Mr. Mitchell Gunter)



Tom: (Frantically worrying about his girl) Mitch, I’m worry!



Mr. Gunter: Listen Tommy; remember the last thing I told you?!

Tom: Molesters will strike again and next time I need to prepare myself



Mr. Gunter: Exactly. In order to protect Peyton, do whatever is necessary!



Tom: But Dane Beaux is one conniving bastard, I want to stop that freak before he harms Peyton again.



Mr. Gunter: And you will have your chance, but Tommy tells me about this teacher, Mrs. Scott?



Tom: She’s Peyton’s teacher. I trust her.



Mr. Gunter: I know, since your wife’s passing, I understand Peyton needs a motherly-figure, but I don’t think Mrs. Scott is the one.



Tom: I believe in her; Peyton trust her. That’s all I need to consider her a great friend.



Mr. Gunter: Well you still need to remember, everything Peyton told Mrs. Scott.



Tom: You don’t think…



Mr. Gunter: Frankly I do.



Tom: What I am going to do?



Mr. Gunter: Leave everything to me.



(Tom is worried and Mr. Gunter is more than interested to do what is best to protect his client)

*Int. St. Martha's Academy – Mrs. Scott’s Classroom

(Shift back to the school as we see a horseshoe keychain attached with Mrs. Scott’s keys as we shiftily sees Mrs. Scott and Peyton in the classroom)



Regina: Are you sure you want talk about this?



Peyton: No, I’m scared!



Regina: It’s okay, honey! I understand your trauma; you lost your mother and now you have to face this all over again.



Peyton: Can you help me?



Regina: But what about your father?



Peyton: I don’t know what to do?!



Regina: It’s okay; it’s okay. (Holding her in a motherly hug) Everything will be fine, trust me Peyton, I will protect you!



(We see a very scared Peyton)

*Int. Beaux and Bros. Garage – Garage

(Shifts to the garage as we see Dane Beaux, a mechanic who is not acting right, and then his older brother, Alvin Beaux, working on a car)



Dane: You don’t think I’ll go to jail for this mess I caused?



Alvin: (Trying to fix a sedan’s engine, until he gets upset quickly) Listen little bro, I make sure those pricks won’t touch you. I believe you didn’t touch that girl, and I know her crazy father is making up stupid lies. But I’ll promise you this bro, you aren’t going to jail…believe that!



(Alvin gets back to his car as Dane starts freaking out)

*Ext. Road – Night

(Shifts at night as we see a light blue sedan zooming forward on a street)



*Int. Mrs. Scott’s car

(Shifts as we see Regina driving the car, and then suddenly she sees her brake is not working as she speeding on a 45 speed limit zone)



*Ext. Road

(She pulls the car on the side of the road, she soon stops it, and then as she heads out; we suddenly see two headlights from a mysterious car pulling from out of the darkness)



(Regina exits out of the car and as she tries to see what is going with the brakes, she sees the headlights from the other car)



Regina: (Seeing it as a sign for help, she yells help) Help! Hello?! Can you help me? Please, help me, please!!



(The other car soon pulls over a few feet behind her car, and then the headlights go off)



Regina: (Believing it’s the help she needed, she starts thinking the horror is over)



(As the headlights of the other car go off, we soon see the driver’s side door opening as we just see the mysterious figure still sitting in the car)



(Seconds later, we zoom to the driver’s side door, as we suddenly see a worker’s boot coming out of the car and onto the ground)



(And then we shift…)

*Ext. Forest – Morning

(Shifts in the morning two days later as we see a hunter and his dog hunting for food; until his hound runs off into the further woods. The hunter confuse tries to find him)



Hunter: Gambit! Gambit!



(Eventually he finds Gambit as Gambit the dog is sniffing and soon barking over something)



Hunter: (Confused; he heads to Gambit’s location) What is it boy?



(As he approach to where Gambit is and pats him on the head, he soon sees something horrifying)



Hunter: (Confused and horrified) What the…?



(The camera zoom as we see the horseshoe keychain on the ground surrounding with dirt, bark, and other earth materials; however, the most shocking twist is when we see the keychain—Mrs. Scott’s keys—all covered with blood)



(We cut off to the credits)
