Okay, so I've come across the first spoilers for the new season. Have a ball! I figured I would designate this as the "Official Spoiler Thread." So if you find anything regarding the new season that does contain spoilers, we have a place to put it.

Also you can use this thread for discussing everything and any new speculation.

I'm also not hiding anything behind "SPOILERS" in this thread because I warned everyone beforehand lol.

Psych - Episode 4.01 - He Dead - Plotline and Casting Call

STORY LINE
Shawn & Gus try to fulfill the dying wish of billionaire hedge fund manager WARREN CLAYTON, by seeking to unmask his killer...

[ALICE CLAYTON] The pretty, well-maintained, blue-blood widow of billionaire hedge fund manager Warren Clayton, she is furious when the police initially suspect that her husband's death in a plane crash was an accident, insisting that Warren was murdered, and is instantly impressed when Shawn agrees with her. In truth, Alice is a woman who was trapped in a loveless marriage, and has been having an affair with her tennis pro, so she has an excellent motive to want Warren dead. She hires Shawn to find the killer, but winds up with another devastating loss: her husband's hedge fund is a Ponzi scheme, and she's left destitute...GUEST STAR (10)

[NYNA CLAYTON PHILLIPS] In her late 20's-30, she is a stark contrast to the rest of her spoiled, wealthy family. Nyna is the oldest daughter of Warren Clayton, a beautiful hippie-progressive environmental activist who broke with her father long ago, and is treated by the family as if she is dead. Married to Charles Phillips, she's the co-founder of "The Great Green Hope," a political action group. Appalled by her father's golf course development, she reluctantly agreed to try and reconcile with him -- and after being falsely arrested for the homicide of Warren Clayton, she's horrified to ultimately realize that her husband is responsible for her father's murder...GUEST STAR (34)

[CHARLES PHILLIPS] The husband of Nyna Phillips, Charles is another environmental activist -- but unlike his wife, he's unwilling to turn his back on his father-in-law's massive fortune. Having pleaded with Warren to reinstate Nyna in his will, Charles turned bitterly vindictive when Warren refused, and coolly plotted the murder of his father-in-law -- a plot that's ultimately unraveled by Shawn.sptv050769..GUEST STAR (37)

[ROSA] The attractive Hispanic housekeeper-cook at the Clayton mansion, she in fact was having a clandestine affair with the late Warren Clayton, and appears to be the only person who is genuinely distressed by his death...1 speech & 3 lines, 2 scenes (16)

Not sure if this qualifies as a spoiler but Jason Berger, Steve's assistant, says that filming starts next week. So be prepared for more spoilers VERY soon. Also James was in the Psych Office, the *real* one in LA possibly writing an episode for this season.

The psychwrites Twitter may be one of the most amazing things ever invented smile.gif

I'm assuming filming starts (in HD) on May 27th, since Jason said they start next week. I'm also going to draw my own conclusion from the picture of James at the writing office sitting with his Mac, that he is writing at least one episode this season biggrin.gif

He'd better be! A lot of my favorite moments on the show have been in episodes he's written. Ironically, a lot of my favorite Lassiter B stories have been as well.

Yes, the HD part IS very important. My cable has been pretty crappy lately. Fingers crossed for it to clear up by July. And that is a good conclusion. I agree that psychwrites is one of my top ten greatest inventions. Now if only Jason would give us a clear answer on if James is writing AN episode for THIS season. But I'm with you. I mean he's been writing quite a few lately so for him to write...even direct...a few this season would not be out of the question.

I was adamantly opposed to Twitter, but then I looked at the psychwrites page. And I've converted. smile.gif I figure any great spoilers will be there pretty quickly, maybe? If not, it'll be entertaining anyway.

Episode 4.02 spoiler!!! Posted today at Spoiler TV

TITLE: Extradition: British Columbia

STORY LINE
Shawn and Gus are frustrated by their attempts to capture elusive art thief PIERRE DESPEREAUX while on vacation in Canada...

[PIERRE DESPEREAUX] Handsome, sophisticated, with a mischievous glint in his eye, Pierre Despereaux is a world-class art thief, who's been frustrating Lassiter's attempts to capture him for years. Elegant, confident, Despereaux is more amused than threatened by Shawn's efforts to bring him down, and is relaxed even when face to face with Shawn in a restaurant or hotel room. Eventually, Despereaux explains to Shawn exactly how he's managed to keep clear of the law for so long...GUEST STAR (5) LOOKING FOR RECOGNIZABLE NAMES

[STAFF SERGEANT HUGH MACKINTOSH] A boyish, fresh-faced, extremely polite Canadian police officer who still believes that great things happen to good people, MacKintosh takes down Shawn's information about sighting famed art thief Pierre Despereaux on the skiing slopes. MacKintosh is impressed with Shawn's apparent psychic abilities not just because he's somewhat naive and optimistic, but because he's open-minded to new techniques--in fact, he's got a lot of new ideas himself that are continually shot down by his superiors. MacKintosh goes out of his way to help Shawn and Gus get their man, but things go wrong, and he gets fired sptv050769...GUEST STAR (9)

[COMMISIONER ED DYKSTRA] In his early 60s, bullish but jolly, possibly not too competent, Dykstra is the RCMP commissioner who's instantly impressed with Shawn's psychic abilities when Shawn "guesses" that today's his birthday. Dykstra fully believes Shawn's inflated representation of his own rank, and infuriates Lassiter by referring to Shawn as his superior. Despite Dykstra's initial enthusiasm for Shawn, he gradually becomes skeptical of Shawn's ability, and eventually joins with Lassiter in what he thinks is a "good cop/bad cop" interrogation of Shawn...GUEST STAR (13)

Dykstra calling Shawn Lassiter's superior?! This is going to be good! tongue.gif

TIM: Hmm. Without getting too specific, we'll say that Gus and Shawn's next cases (in episodes premiering sometime this summer) will involve Bollywood, the Wild West, and an exorcism. They'll also have a skiing-centered episode set in British Columbia, where the show films. Oh, and there's an episode about a time-traveling clone. (Siiiiike! Did they say that at your elementary school?)

I'm really excited about the Wild West one. Who's with me? biggrin.gif

As a Texan, I must say I'm looking forward to the Wild West one. That just sounds like the most fun to me. I really hope they get Lassiter into it because I imagine Tim would absolutely love playing that! (And he'd look great in a cowboy hat...)

Ok, they MUST give Lassiter a handlebar moustache. I have a feeling there are some great Lassiter moments to be had in this one, given his penchant for Civil War reenactments.
