Although going by Extradition British Columbia writers commentary this is written by Andy Berman so we also know it will be a great episode.

btw, i forgot to write this the other day. i looked up the original filming order and this is how the episodes were filmed:

so they're being aired like, really out of order. when i get the S4 Dvds, THIS is how i'm watching them.

lol... wow. I am so saving that list for later.

And that's a relief... since He Dead was filmed first, hopefully Lassie's hair won't be quite that short again. I'm getting to be more ok with it now that it's grown out a little, but I found it almost painfully short in that one ep.

Keep that list handy so you can re-post it when the S4 gets released! This is definitely how I'm watching them. Anybody know if we can get the film order for S1-3?

I have no idea the order in s 1-3, all I know is that "Poker, I barley know her" was the last episode they filmed in season 1!!

Wow they are showing them way out of order. Since Shawn was supposed to be shot during the third episode but will now be shot in the last, are they just going to take out scenes where they talk about it in other episodes because they can't talk about it until the actualy episode airs?

i have no clue!

someone earlier said that this week's episode, gus is taking the lead cuz shawn doesnt want to do cases yet. so...idk how they're gonna play that.
and i wonder if that "sports therapist" scene from shawn has the yips will be in a different episode or will it still be in that one or what? cuz it wouldnt make sense for shawn to need "trauma therapy" if he wasnt shot yet...

Just look on the episode guides usa network has up. Like on the startpage (bear with me here Im not good with computers...) they have this little thing that says The show, and they have episode guides there that arent at all in the "right" order... I thought it was weird when I first bought the dvd, but then I got it... Totally freaked me out at first...
Since I only have access to the first season on dvd (i live in sweden) im not sure if season 2,3 have the filming order, but i think they do...

I'm curious to see what goes on with the whole lead investigator thing.

That really bothers me when they do these things out of order...like in season 2 with the "wet bar" in henry's house...if you havent listened to the commentaries then you may not know what i'm talking about. But I hope they fix it so these episodes atleast make sense the way they put them.

I'm sure the writers and editors will make them make sense I'm just curious as to how they are going to do that

I know that everyone probably knows this but I got excited when I saw that Psych was getting some love on Tv Guide this was on the Mega Buzz article:

It´s a few spoilers about Shawn takes a shot in the dark, and it´s a little about the bad guys that shoots Shawn!

While investigating a possible crime, Shawn stumbles upon one of a pair of criminals, gets shot, and is dumped in the trunk of a car…

[OLDER BROTHER / MECHANIC] 40-50 years old, the older of a pair of brothers, an imposing but easily manipulated man, he’s a Special Forces veteran with sniper training, currently working as a mechanic, who’s been roped into his brother’s somewhat wild plan to rob a Brinks truck. Under his brother’s thumb both intellectually and psychologically, he’s recently fallen in love with a beautiful redhead, and thinks that a robbery might give him a chance at a fresh start in life with a beautiful woman. Not very good at thinking quickly under stress, he’s in the middle of executing his brother’s scheme to weld a false bottom onto the Brinks truck, when Shawn stumbles in on him — and he reacts badly, shooting Shawn and dumping him in the trunk of his car. Berated by his clever psychopath of a younger brother, who regards Shawn as excess baggage that needs to be killed and dumped, the Older Brother in fact has no interest in killing anyone ever again — an attitude that gets him killed…LEAD (16)

[YOUNGER BROTHER / GAS STATON ATTENDANT] 30-40 years old, the Younger Brother, less physically imposing, he’s the brains, guts and will of the family; unfortunately, he’s also a psychopath with a vicious and menacing streak, who thinks the quickest solution to every problem is a bullet in the brain. Having come up with a scheme to use his older brother’s job as a maintenance mechanic to cut a hole in a Brinks truck and use it as a point of entry, he’s intensely displeased when Shawn literally stumbles upon his scheme. Wishing that Shawn were simply dead and gone, he winds up taking Shawn hostage when his plans start to unravel — and after he murders his own brother for being too simple and stupid a criminal…LEAD (25)

when i first read this, i thought that shawn would be in the trunk like, the whole time. the pictures clearly show that isnt the case though.

I really wanted to tell people this!! Today was my first day of school and in my one class there is a pineapple on the wall and my teacher has an obsession with his 3 whole puncher!!!! I couldn't make it throught without laughing and getting strange stares!!

I just wanted to address 1 spoiler I read about - that the psych office has incorporated a new elliptical machine for Shawn b/c there's some "concern" that he's gained a bit of weight this season.

I for one and TOTALLY against this! James Roday is absolutely the hottest he's ever been, and he needed to gain some weight, IMHO! Skinny Shawn of season 1 has nothing on Season 4 Shawn.

So I'm hoping he avoids those liquid diet "cleanses" from now on, because they really should not mess with a good thing.

where did it say that that is why? in the script or did someone suggest that as a reason?
i like james no matter what. except on the inside cover of the S3 dvd. he looks weird there! hahaha. doesnt even look like james!

That's strange- where'd you see that?

It was the one that described how he stepped on the elliptical machine to reach for a bag of doritos, and Gus later chastised him for hanging his dry cleaning on the machine. Maybe I'm making assumptions, but it made me sad... ;-)

Maybe this is the epsiode with Gus in his pj's. A lot of us have been saying it looks like a dry cleaning rack that he's standing by. Maybe it's that machine. Just thinking out loud

It's in the sides for Shawn got the yips and if you read the sides Shawn never even uses the elliptical machine all it is good for is hanging clothes and as a step so grab his chips on a high shelf

If you watch the Maggie interviews, in the one about scenes to look forward to there is a spoiler about Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark. It sounds like an awesome scene (you know how much I love Shules) I can't wait!

In the picture with Jules, Shawn, and Gus is Gus wearing jeans?! Awesome! I don't remember when the last time was when we saw Gus in jeans.

OMFG! Maggie dropped a huge a$$ spoiler about Shot in the dark in her interviews that are now up too

So Shawn calls her after he got shot, telling his kidnappers she's somebody very important to him and the end of that call is very emotional...

there's more about that in the interview.

OMG! OMG! OMG! Everytime I think I can't get more excited for Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark, I am completly wrong!!! I am so looking forward to that phone call now!! Why did they have to change it to the mid-season finale!?!?!??!

I think we will get an I love you in the phone call I so can't help waiting another 6 weeks is going to be painful as we already have waited 3 months since first hearing about this episode.

On a slightly different topic the Gus in PJ's could be from Shawn takes a shot as the longer credits last week were planned for us already seeing the episode another thing I notice is the scene with Gus's mad driving skills from the first 2 weeks was changed to the shot of Shawn jumping on the car. Last season after daredevils they slightly changed the credits so we should find out in a couple of hours if the shorterned version may have a change

but to be honest, i really like knowing rather than not knowing. i tend to make stories in my head of what exciting episodes (of any series) would be like. basically like a fanfiction story except i cant write so i never put it on paper. and the more info i get, the better my story gets and i correct the incorrect parts to fit the new spoiler.
it makes me feel better/less stressed if i have an imaginary episode in my head!

and i have a feeling at least ONE person is going "me too!" and not "wow jenna, you're crazy!"

Yeah, that's my guess - that someone says "I love you" to fool the kidnappers, but all they're really doing is fooling themselves. ;-)

the bad guy holds a gun to his head in the cementary (where that cap is shot) and jules is told to put down her gun so they need another way to save lassie. (how they do it is in the sides)

Yippee! Lassie Peril is funnn!! I haven't had a chance to read the sides so I must add it to my "must do" list tomorrow.

That reminds me, I need to re-read those sides so if anyone could find them for me that would be awesome!
