It does make sense. I'm excited for Shawn being in a relationship even though I want him with Juliet.

I love that it is! I like the way he is around her. He's still his goofy, random self, but he does really adorable things, like getting tongue-tied, or that adorably shy grin. I can't wait!

Psych: An American Werewolf in London's David Naughton has signed on to guest star in the show's Halloween-themed episode, co-written by leading man James Roday. He'll play Dr. Ken Tucker (no relation to EW TV critic extraordinaire), a self-serving sociopath with a plan that Shawn and Gus uncover. Psych's fourth season begins Aug. 7.


so its confirmed that Roday did indeed write the werewolf episode. well, co-wrote.
is it gonna premiere in october or something? cuz it says "halloween themed"

STORY LINE
Shawn and Gus investigate the death of a young soldier, all while Shawn is trying to appease his girlfriend, Abigail, who would like the two to go out on a real date. The group is being aided in the investigation by Juliet's hero brother, EWAN, who it seems is not exactly forthcoming...

[MAJOR CARTER FELTS] An Army major, he is about "as hard-nosed and intimidating as they come. You can read the history of this man on the commendations that cover the walls of his office." Not particularly pleased to have Shawn and Gus snooping about his base, he makes it clear that the suicides of two privates is strictly a military matter. Despite the no-nonsense, gruff exterior, Major Felts does have his own brand of humor...GUEST STAR (10)

[LIEUTENANT 1ST CLASS WALLACH] A bookish but Military looking lieutenant, and fastidious, probably a graduate of West Point, he appears to be a model soldier. I'm excited about meeting Juliet's brother! And the fact that Shabigail lasts at least until episode 9!! I left that note from SpoilerTV in there at the beginning to try and encourage everyone to go leave a comment or something. We'd be sad if they decided to stop covering Psych!

Nice spoilers. I'm really, really excited for this episode. I wanna see Juliet's brother. They're really spacing out RLC's episodes, seeing that this is episode 9 and James said she's in three this season. Although, he said three so far. Either way, I cannot wait for this, although I feel like this is going to be the 4.5 premiere.

I guess being #9 would make it the 4.5 premiere, wouldn't it? That sucks! I want it to happen sooner! (But Abigail still being around until 4.5 is okay with me. )

As soon as I saw 9 I thought 4.5, drats! I just need Psych...and soon! Yeah, ultimately, I'm happy that Abigail will be around, even if she's not physically in every episode, for a while. Even if I complain about it...

It would be weird for us to get 9 episodes in a half season, but it does sound like a season finale type episode; mostly cuz of abigail stuff I doubt they would do in a season premiere. And I'm also skeptical because of how early we are getting this spoiler. My speculation is that they are doing this instead of a christmas episode and giving us nine in the first half instead, and then seven in the second half as usual. Or maybe this is the christmas episode. Hmmm

Well Berger said we aren't getting a Christmas episode this year, but I do like what you said about a longer first half. I could handle that!

I'm still so mad about the Christmas episode!

i think 4.09 is gonna be the fall finale since there's no xmas episode (which stinks)

Good point! I look forward to it because I love American Werewolf in London...and John Landis sold the rights to the movie so I wonder who's going to do the actual MOVIE remake...things that make you go hmmmm....

I love all the creepy themed or "halloween" themed eppys! So I'm down with an exorcisim and a werewolf! Oh and about 4.09, it sounds awesome, and I'm sure it'll be the finale for the first half, just look back at season one and "Shawn Versus The Red Phantom"... oh wait, season one was an episode short of sixteen... hmm, well I think it'll be the half-season finale.

Even though Abigail is in this episode I think it may be more Shules as Juliet is also the main story and the fact that Shawn and Abigail are the B storyline with her wanting a real date this could be the beginning of the end(They have been together for a few months and Shawn is has yet been on a real date with her).

Also Juliet having her brother there he would have to notice the Shules interaction may be Juliet will have someone to confide in. This does sound like a season split episode as the last 2 seasons have both ended on a Shules tease this could happen if Shawn and Abigail breakup.

What can I say I want Shules so I can dream

Okay, so I can only skim through these because I have to leave for work soon and I'll be until 7. Although from what I'm seeing this episode looks hilarious. I made it a point to find the Shawn and Abigail scene, I'm looking forward to that. And the weird guy that's just randomly standing next to Gus after that scene had me in stitches, which is good cause it's 7:37 in the morning, lol.

Actually he just jokes about incompetence with guns. He actually has some crazy good shooting skills, as seen in the pilot. Which is why I'm SO excited to see him packing

Did anyone read the pages which mention that Juliet's brother gets arrested and lassiter is tryin to make her feel better and she says something to the effect of he broke the law that's all there it to it for me., and the prison guard then tells them that there is no prisoner by that name?

Since all the pages aren't there, I can't make any sense of it. Does it mean he's the bad guy or he's so super covert op that he leaves no trace behind because all the signs on the script lead me to belive that he's some spy type intelligence guy. Or is this eppie going to end in a cliffie and have a second part in the winter which explains why random men are following Gus?

Hi, I'm new here, and fairly new to Psych. I got into it around the epi with Shabby and have been addicted and watched all the seasons online. That being said, you guys are AWESOME.

Also, in respose to Serendipity, when I read it it seemed like his job was important enough that he would be kept from going to jail by the higher-ups in the army. But that's just what I thought.

I'm going to guess a "wrongfully accused" story line here. That would certainly explain things. Although *yea!* Lassie for trying to make his pard feel better! see? He's human after all!

I started watching Psych at the start of season three and got obsessed right about after the Talk Derby to Me episode. I am a huge fan of shules, so after reading these sides I'm happy to see the goodbyes b/w Shawn and Abigail. Even though it IS kinda sad for abigail.. >:)

Anway, I also read the part about Jule's brother being the bad guy. In addition to that prison bus scene, I also saw a small blurb (only two lines) elsewhere in the script that immediately screamed "Ewan's the bad guy!" to me.

Government official: "what is the status, four?"
Ewan: "I have tried to slow this thing down. I have steered them the other way, destroyed evidence, but this Shawn Spencer is extremely good at what he does...."

But, this had a line through it, so I don't know whether it will be in the actual eppy.

I don't think the episodes are going to be in the order that they are listed on SpoilerTv. If you look back at previous pages on the Psych section, the aired episodes were totally different than they were on the website. For example, it said Tuesday the 17th was episode 3.09, and Murder..Anyone...Anyone was 3.01. That being said, I would assume the Abigail episodes will only be in the first half of 4, but I could be totally wrong. Well I'm hoping we get rid of her by then. HAHA. just kidding..sort of.

that's a good point. The last scene of the sides for the new episode is abigail leaving. The writers always seem to slip in shules stuff in the season and half season finales. This assumed season finale seems devoid of that. I almost feel like that might be episode 7 and the current episode 7 will be the season finale (the one with attempted murder of lassiter, and then the guy is also after shawn and gus). That episode feels like more of a finale to me, where we will get shules stuff.

Okay, you mentioned it so I went to go find it and read it. (I really do try to not read too much of the sides. I do still like a little bit of mystery!) I'm dreading that scene already! Unless I can clearly see that they're not working out, I forsee heartbreak in my future right about the time this episode airs!




I always love it when they write in a "human" Lassie bit. I know it's there, but I just want everyone else to see it sometimes, you know? He's so misunderstood!

Haha, I think he is putting it on! Remember how in the pilot when he picks up the gun awkwardly and says in a nervous voice, "Wow, they're so much lighter when they're filled with water.." then shows he's actually a perfect shot? I think Shawn likes to pretend he's stupid when he's actually a genius, and incompetent where he's very skilled, and vice versa. All part of his charm

i know he's a good shot, its one of my favorite scenes! but that was with a pistol. idk anything about guns though. if ur good with one kind, are u good with all of them?

i only skimmed the slides cuz it seems like they tell u the ending so i read bits and pieces, and the abigail scene.

Apart from Abigails departure which was always going to happen sometime these sides don't give away as much as the other sides this season.
You know Ewan is being paid to cover it up but you never find out who is behind the crime. I never saw anything in the sides about him going to jail. I could see Shawn finding out about Ewan and not saying anything as he doesn't want to hurt Jules

Things I liked as I said earlier the fact that Juliet never told Ewan Gus's name and then having him complain about it and Shawn telling him to focus as his pettiness is putting him off that is so funny (as I'm guessing Ewan most likely has heard all about Shawn)

Also Shawn bringing up his Ambassador to Paraguay nice nod to Cloudy Chance for murder

The other thing is the B story about Abigail wanting a real date with Shawn in the sides Ewan says about taking Jules out to dinner my theory but I guess is they will run into Shawn and Abigail arkward moment for both girls like I said this is only a guess but I can see it coming.

This is a bit random, but I hope these "high school" flashback experiences are actually in an episode.
