All signs do point that direction, don't they? Gravy is about werewolves too, right? Or would that be a reason to think it's definitely not written by him?

Yeah, that was kind of a dumb question, wasn't it? Just thought I'd inquire about it, lol. I definitely think it's a Roday episode. It's too Roday like, if it isn't, I'm going to be so surprised.

Gravy? Yes, he has. Although, I don't think it has anything to do with werewolves, but it is the horror genre. Skinwalkers may have definitely "werewolf"-ed him out, though.

Thanks for posting that link to the preview! I've seen a few on TV but not that one yet. I don't USA much except for House when Psych and Monk aren't on. Pretty sure I freaked out when I saw Sendhil (Mohinder!). Whenever I watch a preview or think about Psych coming back (only 37 more days!) I nearly start hyperventilating I get so excited.
tvspaz626
ok. if people keep announcing how many days, i think i'll go crazy. if i start saying "only 37 days left" then every day will go super slow! hahah.
i have to just tell my self august 7 and for some reason, it sounds closer than when i say 37 days.

Thumbs up to that wink.gif

And now we have a werewolf episode as well. Superb. Hope this season isn't going to be too awesome so as to set the bar too high for later seasons. Heh tongue.gif

And you know what... oddly, 37 days seems a little less to me than 7 August... possibly because being in the southern hemisphere, we won't actually get the first ep until 8 August ... at which time I am going to New Zealand, whoot! But, would you believe, I am almost as excited about this upcoming season of Psych as I am about skiing and seeing snow first time ever in NZ?? *whispers* Glad you guys don't know me smile.gif)

Looks like I have high expectations! I say bring on the countdown *g*

Enjoy the snow when you go! smile.gif

I just had to pop back in to say I watched Tyler Perry Meet the Browns on Thurdsay and one of the eppies, Mr. Brown got shot during a robbery attempt. It was HILARIOUS!!! ANd he was shot in the back-end...not sure if it officially the pattotie or his lower thigh, he was flailing too much when his nephew (a doctor) was "fixing him up". It was soooo funny.

So I can't wait to see what Andy Berman does with this one. Bring it, Berman! Whoohoo!!!
BlackTsChica
Warrior Princess or Pimpcess here wielding her trustee sword....

I am quite excited about the new season. I know they will have a "Gus centered" eppy (they just have to!) this season. The eppy "Gus Walks Into a Bank" has made me hyper all over again.

And I can't wait to see when "Gravy" comes out.

Now to find more spoilers before I head out today. biggrin.gif

So @psychwrites (I assume Berger) was answering questions for us on Twitter this evening. Someone asked if there were any big spoilers they'd share and this was the reply:

@esteethomas we are on the verge of casting our biggest guest star to date. itS big.

So...speculations? Rumors anyone's heard? I'm really, really curious now!

Since some of this is spoiler-ish, though I'd post this over here...

Jason was taking questions on Twitter earlier, though I'd post the Q&A here. (EDIT: most smiley faces are my commentary on either the answers, or once or twice the questions)

Q: Hey, is Gus Rudy's boyfriend "Kenny" from the Cosby Show? Yeah I could google it but it would be cooler if you would answer.
A: no. no he is not.

Q: Well, if TPTB would let you continue with the character twitters... we'd need a Lassie Twitter, STAT!
A: iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit's not gonna happen.
sad.gif

Q: But you do have a tv show to write and very hyper Psych-Os to please. I asked USA to give Jason a raise and Tim a keg of beer.
A: neither would change anything/happen.

Q: Will Lassiter wear a cowboy hat for High-Noonish?
A: haven't seen the dailies yet. so lets go with maybesortaish?
Q: Was it written into the script for him to wear one?
A: i can't read!

Q: how much can we expect to see of abigail lytar (rachael leigh cook) in season four? thanks
A: a lot.

Q: Has Shawn ever want to drive an ice cream truck?
A: funny you should ask that...keep watching.

Q: show questions? great: when am i filming my love scene with Dulé hill?
A: tonight. in your dreams holla!

Q: got any juice spoilers (since you're answering questions) wink.gif
A: we are on the verge of casting our biggest guest star to date. itS big.

Q: Show questions like... when Shawn gets shot this season... where does he get shot?
A: not answering.

Q: Does Gus really look better in white loafers?
A: who doesnt

Q: Who selects the music? I had to d/l Space Age Love Song after the high school reunion episode.
A: steve does.

Q: Whose idea are the Psych Outs?
A: james and Dulé think of them.
Q: That's what I guessed. Thanks! So did they come up with "Ebony & Ivory" as well? That's 1 of my favorite commercials ever.
A: ha that was actually USA.

Q: How do you determine how many scripts each writer will create for each season?
A: names in a hat.

Q: maggie lawson has a new show, does that mean she won't be back as Jules? What say you?
A: of course she'll be back. she is the hardest working woman in show bizness.
huh.gif

Q: Any special twists to the Psych theme song this season? (e.g. the X-mas remix, the one in Spanish, etc.)?
A: i think so, we might doing a bollywood version, dont hold me to that though.
biggrin.gif

Q: This season, will @shawnspecnr and @croutonbuster be updating with tweets relative to episodes?
A: not sure. maaaaaaaaaybe

Q: How many eps will James Roday co-write this season?
A: 3.

Q: Can you reveal if Shawn handles a gun more like Jim Rockford, Harry Callahan or Don Knotts this season?
A: think JohnCusack in Grosse Point Blank

Q: gotta know...what's up with the pineapple obsession???
A: they are full of delicious flavor.

Q: will there be more pineapples this season? and if so will they be more difficult to spot?
A: they are extremely difficult this season.

Q: Ay Berger, when are they gonna let you write an episode?
A: shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh don't jinx it.

Q: What's one 80's movie that Shawn would never reference?
A: the one with michael j fox and joan jett...actually i dont know

Q: Any chance of the rubber frog being brought back? (I have a vested interest, LOL)
A: actually i think that question is being asked during the online interviews tomorrow via internet by you. Sarah right?
Q: LOL, who me? Yes... I did ask that through the boards
A: well your diligence pays off.
biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Jason knows who I am!!!

Q: Is Gus ever going to get another date?
A: never. ever. ever. soon.

Q: Will the three hole punch be mentioned in an eppy ?
A: no? i dunno.

Q: how many lines per episode are usually ad-libbed? There's one line about "the largest strawberry I've ever seen" I was SURE was
A: lol fine, I'll be more specific! do they ad-lib more or less than three lines? tongue.gif
Q: exactly? um....27?
A: more.

Q: Will you guys reference twitter on the show? lol
A: yes. but not this one.

Q: Is lassiter gonna start dating anybody?
A: no plans yet. never rule it out.

Q: What is that person talking about the three hole punch? I missed something? These people are serious Psych watchers!!
A: you. have. no. idea. how. serious.
laugh.gif (The 3 hole punch question was BTC's)

Q: Any cameos by the writers, assistants, anyone?
A: unfortunately canadian union laws forbid it now. they capped berman and anupam.

Q: yes, for three episodes straight.
A: okay..last question for me. Will Shawn sniff any more phones like in Tuesday the 17th?

Q: Got any good tips for that post-lunch "I can't write anything that doesn't suck" lull?
A: a long walk.

Q: Are you ever scared by us Psych-Os?
A: yes.

Q: are we ever gonna get a special episode where Gus & Shawn team up with Monk? Maybe? Please?
A: sadly no. not looking like it's gonna happen.

Q: Any plans for *any* crossovers... ever?
A: We're doing a crossover with Sixteen And Pregnant

Q: Producers, writers, and the cast are answering the internet questions tomorrow?
A: just producers. writers later this month.
Q: Does that include Roday and Dulé since they're producers or are we just getting Steve, Henze, and Kelly?
A: S, H & K. Let. me. go.

Q: what is the first 80's reference in the new season???
A: hmmm. I think it's the karma chameleon one in the spots.

Q: Not strictly a show question, but have your fingers begun bleeding yet?
A: just my eyes.

Q: When will you have the always underappreciated Greg Grunberg on the show?
A: that would be cool.

And I agree with Tim: "Wow, Berger. You're on fire! -tm"

What's not to love about Val Kilmer?! wink.gif

Besides, Roday wouldn't have to do any "acting" with Shawn going completely wild over him especially if Kilmer were to play himself.
tvspaz626
i think with how much theyve talked about val kilmer, he'd have to play himself. itd be weird if he didnt. hahah.
in old and restless, there's a whole dialogue about kilmer and shawn's obsession with him.

sure would be interesting to see!

btw, has anyone been able to figure out what a bollywood version of the theme song would look or sound like? i cant imagine it. unless they translated it to hindi. hahah. cuz at least with the spanish version they kept the tune. its not really an indian tune! (please ignore the fact that it was written by "the friendly indians" lol. pretty sure its a different type) hahah...i noticed that coincidence as i wrote it.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. Like, I can imagine some of the beats and what have you, but aside from that. I've got no clue.

On another note, I love how someone inquired about the 3 hole punch and mentioned that 'people' were serious fans. Jason's reply of "you. have. no. idea. how. serious." just made me laugh.
tvspaz626

Hey, I didn't say anything questionable and he offered to answer questions, lol. I just asked him if they were going to let him write an episode, then I asked if the internet questions were going to be answered tomorrow because he mentioned it to Winky. He said the producers would be answering questions tomorrow and the writers will be answering later in the month. So I figured I'd ask if 'producers' included James and Dulé because they co-produce. I didn't do anything too crazy laugh.gif

Shawn and Gus try to protect the vulnerable STEWART GRUMBLEY from himself when the poor man believes he may be a sheep-killing werewolf who'll eventually graduate to killing humans...

[DR. KEN TUCKER] This psychiatrist, early 40s - mid 50s

With all the werewolf and Val Kilmer chat, I completely missed the fact that they named the bad guy in this episode after the columnist at EW who hates Psych and goes out of his way to bash them in other reviews.
