idk what "infection" it is supposed to be in the episode, but my best friend and i refer to this eppy as the "Judd Nelson / Swine Flu Episode" ha with everyone talking about blah blah H1N1, and swine flu i think maybe thats where the writers got their inspiration. just an idea

They mentioned it was their take on the movie "Outbreak" with Dustin Hoffman and Kevin Spacey.

I was focused on the "hospital gown action" that a few of us were hoping to see on Boy Gets Capped. I just have to "wait for it.".

I posted the casting sides that I bought for the episode awhile ago, so just to refresh...


The virus is called the Thornburg virus. It's apparently extremely rare and usually targets people in Africa (which Gus finds racist on it's part.)

It moves quickly and symptoms include headaches and bleeding, in some cases from the eye.

The woman in the promo where Gus & Shawn are in the suits, I'm guessing is the woman who gets sick at the start of the episode, (the teaser before the credits.) She's in a store with the clerk trying to get her attention, and she's stumbling around. They pan in on her face and we see that there's a trickle of blood from her eye.

Juliet is handling the the cooler that contains the virus towards the end of the episode, it's after Shawn does his wrap up. There's a crack in the vial and she realizes her finger is bleeding. Shawn asks "Jules, are you-" & Juliet yells at him to stay back. Shawn, (obviously impatient/worried) tells the dude to give him back the vaccine that will cure both the guy & Juliet, but Shawn is told that there isn't enough left to save either one of them. And the only place where there is more left...is two hours away.

Mallon (the aforementioned dude) slumps to the ground, and we see blood from his eye. Shawn & Gus turn back to Juliet who is "gripped in fear."

so far, based on the descriptions, im most excited for Mr. Yang, Death is in the Air, and whichever one has shawn on his bike and then getting into a fistfight w/the bad guy. hahahah. which episode was that again? that scene was awesome to read...

That's a Very Juliet episode with the bike. I'm also looking forward to You can't handle this episode 3 reasons gooodbye Abigail it's written by Andy Berman which means there most likely will be a Shules moment considering they are working with her brother

Well, they wrapped up filming last Thursday. That'd be awesome it it were possible, though. I'm figuring it's going to be a renewal release.
