I read somewhere Steve Franks is writting an episode dedicated to "Jaws", is it true? I hope so I'm a huge, obssessed girl fan of that movie which by all accounts in strange but true. My room is covered with shark stuff and I have so many Great White Shark stuffed animals and books. Heck, in college I got an A on a report I did on Shark Attacks (facts and preventions) and comparing the falses of Jaws with what actually happened off the New Jersey coast a long time ago. I wanted to become a Marine Biologist just to study sharks because of that movie... I know it had the opposite effect with most people but not to me. Then I realized how many Math courses I would have to take in college to accomplish that and I couldn't wrap my head around that concept so I had to go with the Liberal Arts.

well, the hazmat suits are from "death is in the air" which is Judd Nelson's episode. a deadly biotoxin is released. so the person they're talking to is probably infected.

It's just soooo strange to watch a new episode of Monk and not have Psych follow

I watched White Collar it was really good but it just wasn't the same airing Monk without Psych. Weekends are somewhat depressing now.

I know, I kind of sat there after White Collar was done and was like, "Wait... this isn't right. Where is my Psych?" Of course, having Burn Notice right after helped.

On a side note, White Collar was pretty good, so maybe my Fridays won't be too depressing.

It already feels like we've been without Psych WAY too long

Bumping this up in case people are looking for anything spoiler related.

I really wish we could get a 4.5 premiere date so we could know how much more of this we have to take! I was definitely mourning my Psych this past Friday. And all of last week. And this week, too. I think it would make it a little easier if we knew exactly how long we have to wait.

u mean like when we thought it was coing back in July and when we found out it wouldn't be til august we all had a minor heart attack? since psych_USA said late Jan, in thinkin the last Friday in Jan or the 2nd to last. but it would be nice to know for sure.

I also remembered the other day that the Olympics will be in Vancouver in February. I don't know about y'all, but I'm kind of hoping they take a break for those couple of weeks when it's on. Not because I don't want my Psych, but because I don't want it to have to compete with Opening/Closing ceremonies again. I can be patient for a couple of weeks (though I'll complain about it when it happens!) if it means better ratings in the end.

oh yeah, the olympics! well, it probably won't be on then cuz USA airs a lot of the events! dang...that sucks. hahaha

If they skip a lot of weeks then we'll have untill even later in March to see the finale... But at least that means 4.5 wouldn't be over as fast.

It really doesnt matter how they spread it out season 4.5 is still going to feel too short.

Do they have a set amount of time before they can start filming season 5(if they are *knock on wood*) or so we know for sure that the premiere is likly to be july or august. Im just asking because if they drag out 4.5 (not that they are) would that mean they would hold off on the premiere later? Having no idea how usa usually does their seasons and stuff this is just me being hypothetical.

I don't think Jeri is in think tank b/c that's the last episode they're filming. they're probably working on it now actually...I have a feeling she's in the jaws episode as that female doctor person who has a "connection" with Henry.
that's just my guess tho. I don't know for sure.

That makes sense about Jeri Ryan. She seems a little young to be considered Henry's contemporary, but same with the Chief, I suppose.
I'm curious about this episode. The usual writers have written the # of episodes they usually write so I wonder if it will be a newbie writer like "Truer Lies" by Tory Walker and "Dislodged" by Tim Meltreger in the prior seasons. Hmmmm.
