To night's episode of Psych on The USA Network starts off with the lead characters, Shawn and Gus, getting ready for their annual viewing of The Royal Rumble PPV. They have a certain ritual that they perform every year which old school WWE fans might get a kick out of. The people who work on the show are definitely big WWE fans.

It took me two viewings to kind of understand what they're doing with the dolls... they were WWF (now known as WWE) wrestler dolls, I think? [eta: thanks Matthew124 for confirming that. =)]

I love that in part 2 there's a reference to the running joke in Nine Lives about showing the wrong side of the paper heheheheheh. Guess the sale on windows is long over!

um ive been thinking about ALL the spoilers we've amassed in this thread and im trying to figure out which things havent happened yet.
for instance, when is shawn shooting a gun? berger said high-noonish didnt count.
also when are we seeing his apartment?
i wouldve thought it was an episode w/abigail (which means it could be you cant handle this episode...) and it wouldve been funny if it was last night's epi since the poster he has up is an american werewolf in london.

yeah, i think the gus in his PJs part from the extended opening is from the finale cuz even tho we saw the pjs already in "yips", it wasnt that scene so there needs to be another one.
so lets add to what we know about next week: gus is in his PJs with a weird, drycleaning rack thing (movable). hahaha
maybe its Shawn's apartment!! (which i know we've said before but whatever)

maybe we get to se Shawn´s apartment in Shawn takes a shot in the dark. Like when they find out that Shawn is missing and they can´t find him anywhere, maybe Lassie, Jules, Henry and Gus goes into Shawn´s apartment to find clues or something of where he might be.
Or they just don´t know where Shawn is, they haven´t heard from him for a while, and they go to his apartment to see if something has happened to him there. I don´t know but it could be possible

A private investigator finds himself in mortal danger after he’s shot, bound, and stuffed in a trunk with little evidence for police to follow.

No, that’s not the tagline for the new “Mentalist” episode but rather the plot of Psych’s fall finale.



Not your typical story line for a comedy, but Psych pulls it off nicely, making Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark the perfect mix of drama, humor, and a little romance too. (We get some Shules)

The episode starts with a decidedly early wake-up call for two Santa Barbara detectives and one stylishly dressed pharmaceuticals rep. Shawn has been snooping around a case by himself and, as the group quickly realizes, the consequences are life threatening.

The fake psychic is forced to rely on past survival training from his father while the rest of the crew retrace his steps.

Get ready for a nail-biter: Psych’s mid-season finale airs Friday, October 16th at 10 PM.
