I know this has been said before but I cannot WAIT until shot in the dark...something about ANGST makes me a happy happy viewer! I can't believe how much they moved it back, originally I would have seen it already and then I wouldn't be so obsessed. Sigh...October 16th can't come fast enough.

I think I would die if they actually moved it.

yeah, me too. I barely can´t stand waiting for October 16th, and if it would´ve been moved til 2010, I would totally freak out.

but I actually never thought they´d move it til 2010, cause it says in the schedule that it´s supposed to air on October 16th. But anyway, thank God they didn´t move it.

[TANNER] 50-60. He is a salty fisherman-type, the owner of a fishing shop, a surly, unhelpful sort. He eventually agrees to loan his boat and services to Shawn and Gus to aid the investigation. He should be strong and have a physical presence. GUEST STAR (23)

A connection with Henry, you say? Ha, bom chicka wah wah! Okay, not really, but either way...

I can't wait for this episode! Steve and his love of Jaws, it's going to be great.

Yikes..it just got worse. And when I looked up "Boy Gets Capped", I only see the same pics. The pic in the garage, I'm not used to Lassie without a tie.

Sooo funny, I just had to google it in those exact words to see what came up, haha. Nothing btw.. oh, but, a useless fact, apparently "capping" comes from "kneecapping" - the practice of shooting people in the knee to cripple them forever.

You know, I should really refrain from commenting unless I have spoilers to share... but does anyone know if the comments at the Comicon about Shawn's dad interfering with Shawn's love life is something we've yet to see? Or, was Abigal's visiting his dad it?

Is Abigails last appearance in the episode with Juliet's brother or the finale with Mr. Yang? I think I've read about both....but what do I know? I simply rely on everyone else's sleuthing for spoilers--which by the way are very addicting! So, thanks foks!

Rachel Leigh Cook was signed for 3 episodes the Last is when Juliets brother is in the episode her being in the final is speculation as it mentions in the sides when she is leaving that she will be back at the end of February

Been thinking about 'Shawn takes a Shot in the Dark' (who hasn't) question: Do you guys think Psych is gonna be one of those shows where, Ex. a main character gets shot in the arm and in the next episode he is moving furniture as if he never had an injury, or is it gonna be a more real to life show where we see some residual effects of the injury with the potential with some perhaps Shawn!whump or Shawn Hurt/Comfort...that didn't sound as weird in my head as it does reading it...

Good question...we've had that on our minds too. If the shows aired in order, it would be pretty minor I guess. With him jumpin' on that car and the mobility of his arm, he doesn't look that hurt. Just my 2 cents.

I wonder why they changed the order. I'm diggin' the new order actually. Each eppy tops the one before it. How did they do that! And it gives a "slow build" to "Boy Gets Capped".

And "capping" in the knee, I never knew, thanks! I just remember old slang, "bust a cap in his a##".

Well since they moved it to the finale they might make it seem that during the break he is recovering and when they come back in January it has been enough time to recover. Although, i would be surprised if it isn't refereced at least a little during the rest of the season

Although the episodes were not shot in chronological order we are infact watching them in the correct order, because the storyline is following through correctly. The episodes are being shown in the order were meant to be shown in, just because they shoot the episodes in a certain order that doesn't necessarily mean they have to show them in the same order. They may have had to shoot the episodes in this order for any number of reasons, for instance maybe they have to adapt the filming schedule to the schedules of the big name guest stars coming on the show, that would be one logical explanation.

It makes sense, but it must weird for the regular cast to jump back and forth in the storyline.

Actually incorrect Shawn takes a shot in the dark was filmed fifth but was suppose to air third until the USA network changed the order and placed it nineth it wouldn't surprise me if some scenes had to be changed to acommidate this change example (and this is only speculation) the Henry scene in Shawn has the yips I think this was a rewrite as there would be a different take if Shawn had been shot already

DUDES!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!! On Oct. 16th I have school off!!!(which even if i didnt i would have stayed home anyway) My friend and I are gonna sit in my house and watch the Psych marathon and then party it up until he gets shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EEE!!! ITS GONNA BE EPIC!!!! lol

yeah it´s exactly the same for me. I liked Lassie did a bad bad thing, but then when Shawn got knocked out, it became one of my favourite episodes xD I´ve always been like that, and I thought I was the only one that liked seeing the main character get hurt. Cause other people I know, like my brother for example, he thinks it´s really weird!! anyway, so I´m really looking forward to this!

OMFG I hope I can watch this eppy because that whole week is homecoming week and the homecoming game(which I have to cheer at) is Oct. 16 and then the homecoming dance is on Saturday. I hope I can make it in time.

That's my homecoming week also. Although I don't normally go to the games anyway so thats not a problem. At one point, i thought the dance was on Friday and I got really scared because I want to go to the dance but I will not miss Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark!!
