You know, that's a good point! I thought Shawn was just channeling Kelly Kulchak when he said "Do I think it has to happen right away? No, there's plenty of time", but with the explanation you present it would actually have some genuine narrative function as well.

And sure he has grown up, but like you say, he is probably still scared to commit to Juliet; maybe some of the details of his break-up with Abigail caused this? And rememberm if he had all his epiphanies and grow-up-moments in episode 12 already, there wouldn't be any left for the finale...

And am I going competely out of my mind or is that Thomas F. Wilson (aka Biff Tannen) behind Corbin and James in that one picture? I know James said, "Biff is in the hoooouusee." at Comic-Con, but it slipped my mind which episode he was going to be in.

it´s is him. on imdb.com it says that he will be guest starring in that episode. And David Naughton from the warewolf movie An american warewolf in London (one of James´ favourite movies) is also guest starring in that episode. I think it´s him on the second picture standing next to Lassie.
And if you haven´t seen the movie, I really recommend it, it´s really good and it´s directed by John Landis who also directed the Psych episodes Scary Sherry: Bianca´s Toast, American Duos and Christmas joy and the Michael Jackson music video for Thriller.

I think this episode will be based on that movie a little bit
And I have a feeling that u may get to see Shawn apartment in this episode too cause in an interview with James, he says that Shawn has a movie poster hanging on his wall in the background and I THINK he said that it was a poster from An american warewolf in London (I´m not sure, I didn´t quite hear him but i think that´s what he said). And since this episode is kinda based on that movie, it would be cool and really appropriate if you can see a poster from the movie in the background.

And for the record, American Werewolf in London is a great movie. And yeah, that's the poster James said will be in Shawn's apartment, which I can't wait to see. I picture it being incredibly messy

Oh I think we all want to see this, just because we're so invested in the character that we want to see new sides of him. Considering the tons of fics out there with major angst factor, it's a very common thing!

They showed a new clip during Dulé's Craig Ferguson interview tonight. Does anybody remember what episode involves drugs of some sort? Shawn and Gus were in dark hoodies hiding behind stuff and Gus' phone started ringing because Shawn's called it. This is going to drive me nuts until I find out what episode it's from!

yeah, I agree with u. Always when the main character is in danger, there´s always so much suspence, and I love that, especially in Psych I just love serious episodes of Psych, like An evening with Mr.Yang, that was such a good episode!

first off, the title says The Head, the Tail, the Whole Damn Episode whenever there's even moderate cursing, i find it funny.

2nd: if u dont want to read it cuz its too spoilery, its about shark hunting
3rd: if you don't want to read about how the case is solved, read from page 8 to the end.
actually, the last 2 pages are really funny. lassie makes a fool of himself.

4th: henry will be involved in the epi! he'll get more than the 1 line or 1 scene he's been getting! (and yes, i know that he's gonna be in the finale. but it hasnt aired yet so im not talking about that one. )

5th: is gus sick cuz of the fish smell? cuz hasnt he been on a boat multiple times in the series alone? he didnt get sick then...unless he took dramamine. hahah

Oh my god I'm so behind on casting sides. I still have three episodes worth that I haven't read yet Stupid schoolwork

6th: The victim is named for one of the fans who won at Comic Con! The one they were all really excited about-Dante Pavan.


Edit: Okay. Finished reading them now. Poor Lassiter! I've been loving the new, confident, slightly cocky Lassiter this season and the way he and Shawn interact. It's tons of fun! At least I can console myself throughout the episode knowing that he's right, lol.

I'm so excited about more Lassie this season! And the whole Shawn and Lassie competition is wonderful it adds new fire to their relationship. Because Lassie accepted that shawn is always around for cases and that he really does help, even though he can be a nuiseance.

I'm guessing there will be some Jaws jokes or referances in this episode.

The sides are great Steve Franks finally has his Jaws episode and Shawn is a chip off the old block with Henry hitting on the Doctor at a crime scene much to Shawns disgust. Gus saves the day sort of and the Lassie V Shawn is becoming a real season runner as there seems to now be a real contest to beat each other.

there are only 2 more episodes for the first part of the season nothing next week and then on the 9th Let's get hairy and the season final till January Shawn takes a shot in the dark this episode was planned to be the 3rd episode but the network decided to hold it back for the final much to annoyance as we so want to see this episode.

Noooo... We've been told that Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark has been moved.
And I'm pretty sure it's Oct. 2 that we have nothing.

What on earth is going on in here? This week we have 'High Top Fade Out' (September 25th), next week we are without Psych. October 9th is 'Let's Get Hairy' and October 16th is the long awaited 'Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark'.

lol. My question is Who on earth said that Shot in the Dark would be moved, and Where did he/she hear that?

You are absolutely right!! “High top fade out” is on this friday it is announced on the Psych home page!! Pay more attention folks!! “Shawn takes a shot in the dark” airs on October the 16th, which also happens to be my 35th birthday!! BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!

Hi everyone i would just like to introduce myself, i'm new to the board and i am writing to you from SPAIN, i am a complete Psych fanatic !!! and i think it is the best piece of entertainment ever created!! As you can see from my tag i am a huge SHULES FAN !! and their relationship is one of the things that i love most about the show, Maggie Lawson is aaawwwwsome!!! And i loved all the Shules stuff in “Bollywood Homicide” last week, especially the scene on the ladder and when Shawn is waiting for her at her house, that was classic and of course the final scene where he almost gives his feelings about Jules away to Abigail!. It is so obvious that these two are crazy about each other, and it is just a matter of time before they give in to their feelings, but i like many others hope that it won't be to soon, i am content with them sharing moments with eachother and the whole jealousy thing on both sides is realy great, because it takes their relationship to a whole new level. I don't think they will get together this season but i do think that they will be taking giant steps towards that. I have a feeling that we are in for some great moments between Shawn and Juliet in the second half of this season!

Sorry i am going on a bit, it is my first ever message, and i just wanted to share with you how much i truly love this show. I love all of the cast, everybody does such an awesome job. IT IS SO WELL WRITTEN AND SO HILARIOUS, alot of the time i have to rewind a scene because i am laughing so hard that i miss most of the dialogue. The banter between Shawn and Gus is just so funny and witty and awesome, Lassiter and his interactions with Shawn bring us some of the funniest moments on the show, my favorite character is Juliet, apart from the fact that she is sooo cute, she is badass and sweet at the same time, i think she is the hottest and funniest detective ever!!

Big love and props to James, Maggie, Dulé, Tim, Corbin and Kirsten. Keep up the awesome work!![b][/b]
