Ohh..I can't wait for episode 5...Shawn Takes a Shot In The Dark. Sounds so intense...and I know were gonna get some great Shules stuff in this one. Cannot wait for July!!!!!

I just looked at the wiki page and it has the episodes all out of order. I'm pretty sure Extradition: British Columbia is first, He Dead is second, and Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark is fifth. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

"Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark" took me to a few different scenarios:
- Shawn gets shot (nothing too serious of course..this is Psych after all).
- Shawn shoots someone (again..nothing too serious)
- It's a take on "A Shot in the Dark" which is a Pink Panther jewel theft comedy mystery
- There is a blackout in Santa Barbara and some shooting occurs with Shawn (shootee, Shooted,shooter,)

Well in another bit on the spoiler thread it said that he literally stumbled upon the criminal so I don't think he would be able to run away
And I know they'll be able to get some fun in this episode. The writers are so good with the dramatic episodes and making them funny. And Andy Berman wrote the episode and he's an awesome writer!! I know he can make this episode awesome!
I cannot wait for this episode. Berman is the man!

[OLDER BROTHER / MECHANIC] 40-50 years old, the older of a pair of brothers, an imposing but easily manipulated man, he's a Special Forces veteran with sniper training, currently working as a mechanic, who's been roped into his brother's somewhat wild plan to rob a Brinks truck. Under his brother's thumb both intellectually and psychologically, he's recently fallen in love with a beautiful redhead, and thinks that a robbery might give him a chance at a fresh start in life with a beautiful woman. Not very good at thinking quickly under stress, he's in the middle of executing his brother's scheme to weld a false bottom onto the Brinks truck, when Shawn stumbles in on him -- and he reacts badly, shooting Shawn and dumping him in the trunk of his car. Berated by his clever psychopath of a younger brother, who regards Shawn as excess baggage that needs to be killed and dumped, the Older Brother in fact has no interest in killing anyone ever again -- an attitude that gets him killed...LEAD (16)
[YOUNGER BROTHER / GAS STATON ATTENDANT] 30-40 years old, the Younger Brother, less physically imposing, he's the brains, guts and will of the family; unfortunately, he's also a psychopath with a vicious and menacing streak, who thinks the quickest solution to every problem is a bullet in the brain. Having come up with a scheme to use his older brother's job as a maintenance mechanic to cut a hole in a Brinks truck and use it as a point of entry, he's intensely displeased when Shawn literally stumbles upon his scheme. Wishing that Shawn were simply dead and gone, he winds up taking Shawn hostage when his plans start to unravel -- and after he murders his own brother for being too simple and stupid a criminal...LEAD (25)

Wow, I can't wait to see who they cast in these roles! And if you read their description, the brothers remind me of a book that was mention on the show: Of Mice and Men. So does Shawn gets to drag out Lenny, again?

If they find occasion for Shawn to bring out his Lenny again, I will be thrilled! That's one of my favorite moments from season 2! He just sounds so funny when he says it: "Hello, my name is Lenny." He's got this great cadence to it that just kills me everytime!
I, like every other person on this board, am very excited for this episode!!! I was wondering when they were going to have Shawn get seriously hurt (or at least more serious then they have before). On every crime show they have the main character be in serious danger at least once.
Ok I know this sounds absurd but, everytime they say he literally stumbles in2 the crime scene I think Shawn is drunk! Which then leads 2 he broke up w/abigail and 4 some reason is drowning his sorrows[not like Shawn @ all], then that he calls gus/jules 2 come get him, but then he gets shot and taken away and that is when Gus or Jules or all of the above get all freaked and start doing everything 2 find him.

That is interesting... I never thought about it that way, but now I'm kinda digging this idea
Yeah, I really hope that there are some Shawn & Juliet moments in this one. If there aren't, and he's still with Abigail, then that is also fine because it will be nice to see how Jules is going to react to Shawn & Abigail. Maybe some jealousy? Maybe she'll play it like she doesn't care? I don't know!
I think it will be nice to see Jules worried about Shawn, though, because in "Earth, Wind, and..Wait for it!" when the building Shawn was in blew up she didn't seem as concerned as I was hoping she would be!

shawn gets shot -- my theory -- either he has a charm on his neklace or he has something in his shirt pocket that "takes the bullet" instead. So yes shawn is shot unhurt and he says something corny like you killed mr pineapple holdong up his charm or tin card of a pineapple

I was quite pleased when I read this news. The Princess Bride is one of my all-time favorite movies.
I decided to look at my VHS copy of the movie, and it was copyrighted 1987. I began to wonder what changes twenty-some years had wrought upon 'Wesley.'
I also remember seeing Cary Elwes in something dramatic, and he was so different with his manner and accent that I didn't recognize him at first. He is a marvelous actor, and I'm still looking forward to seeing him in Psych.

ummm....i don't remember him looking that bad in Saw.
i was trying to find hopefully a more flattering and recent picture of him but this was the best i could do - from a movie he did last year i guess called The Alphabet Killer -

I love "our" writers! They are the most awesome people ever!
Apparently I'm really going to have to pay more attention to the language and phrasing used in their tweets. I noticed "As you wish," but I just figured they were using the phrase to use it. Now I know better. I kind of wonder what else they've maybe hinted at that we haven't figured out yet.

STORY LINE: RAJ, a young East Indian man whose serious girlfriends have all met with suspicious accidents, is convinced that he is the victim of a curse, but Shawn and Gus aren't buying the supernatural explanation. They are convinced that a mysterious assailant is actually responsible and they're out to catch the culprit...
CAST:
JAY - Jay Chandrasekhar
[RAJ] Late 20s to mid 30s. This attractive, young East Indian man is beside himself with worry and despair after all of his serious girlfriends meet with bad accidents. Convinced he's been cursec, Raj breaks up with the girls for their own protection. Afraid that any romantic attachment will end tragically, Raj is facing a lifetime of loneliness when Shawn and Gus set out to prove that Raj isn't cursed after all, but the victim of a mysterious assailant with a hidden agenda...GUEST STAR (2)

Even more awesome since Jay is going to be in the episode. I loved him in Beerfest! Yes, that is the same movie that James appears in a German Messenger.
Rebringing this up as I noticed the last line are they bringing back the character of the fake Kirk Gödel from If you're so smart, then why are you dead? As he was described as a time travelling clone

Yay for Abigail coming back! The more I watch the past seasons, the more I become a fan of Shabigail. I dunno why, I just really like her. It's gonna be fun!
It's even harder to wait for Psych now, because LOST, House, and American Idol have all finished for the season. . .I've nothing to watch! (Actually, that's kinda a like, cause I'm super obsessed with Star Trek right now, but still lol)

I think the set looks kinda Rachel Ray... but IMDB is very weak on his listings on talk shows... so that's just a random guess. NBC daytime shows (though can't think of any other than Today) could also be considered (since NBC is parent of USA, they tend to promote their own stuff...)
