yeah it was, I do vividly remember all the awesome times, the fun, the stunts we pulled, the trips to London... the friends I had there from all over the world. *siiiiiiiiighs* ya know, I'd love to just get a caravan, pack up all my belongings and just travel the world forever. Who's with me? Psych-O's on the road, leaving a trail of chaos disorder and destruction in our wake.

BET YOU DON'T MISS OUR 'LOVELY' WEATHER -

actually I got lucky everytime I was in the UK, mostly I do remember sunshine and just a couple of rainy days

lol what I don't miss though is the senior classtrip from hell... so we went to London for a week, when we got to the hostel people were yelling 'fking nazis go home' at as as a welcome...
2nd day somebody got stabbed to death around the corner from the hostel (around Camden-ish if I remember correctly)
3rd day a guy dressed as hostel security/maintenance staff robbed our rooms, stole everything from perfume to phones and boomboxes and lotsa other crap. and me and a friend of mine even talked to him! He had the name from one of the girls and was carrying around a hairdryer, asking us where her room was cause he had to replace her broken hairdryer, so we told him cuz ya know, he actually had a shirt on that said security and stuff and knew her name and all. We didn't see anything suspicious in that.
4th day, the cops showed up to question us re: the breakins, the night before we had told our 2 accompanying teachers about all of that btw but that morning they didn't remember anything about it cuz they were just drunk up their asses pretty much during the whole trip.
5th day we went to the British Museum but after 5 minutes had to evacuate due to a bomb threat.

so yeah, if I hadn't been to London before that I'm pretty sure I'd never ever woulda wanted to go again. Thankfully I have lots of better memories to it though

Actually, I really do. I live in Texas. Our most popular form of moisture is hot, muggy, disgusting humidity. In Oxford, it only got kind of hot a couple times, even when it was sunny. When it was humid, it was a more cool humidity,therefore not making me feel like I need a shower every 5 minutes. I also enjoyed the rain. Additionally, there was actual winter, not central Texas "winter;" 40 degrees one day, 75 the next. So yeah, I miss it.



Wow. Definitely a trip from hell! Oxford was only a couple hours away, so I never stayed overnight in London. Sometimes I didn't get back to the house until midnight or 1 in the morning, but it was worth it to not stay there and to not have to pay for a hostel I wasn't comfortable in. I saved that money so I could stay in a hostel that made me uncomfortable when I was traveling elsewhere.

I think I'll be around tonight, assuming I get my grocery shopping done. We'll see if I can find my DVD remote so I can even play it. I lost it.

-While Psych has been known to use product placement from time to time, the mention of Kangaroo Paste hair gel is not one of those times. Kangaroo Paste hair gel does not exist. The only real Kangaroo Paste that I found was shoe polish.

-'Tango and Cash' is yet another in a long line of Psych 80's movie references. 'Tango and Cash' was an action/comedy movie about two cops who go to extremes to prove themselves innocent after being framed.
