I love your take on the PEMDAS I'm totally using that in my math class, all of them already know I love pineapple because of a little Fiasco i like to call "The math pineapple debacle of 09" that happened on like the 3rd day of school. Who would have thought that pineapple juice can break a calculator in mear seconds and leave a stain on the floor? But really the kid sitting next to me shouldn't have ratted on me for enjoying pineapple's delicious flavor, even if it was during math and I broke his new graphing calculator.

My mom finnally bought me a pineapple today at the grocery store.

I've been trying to talk my mom into doing so but because I ate an entire pineapple in under 26hrs she refuses to buy me any until I get some self control

It says "Sorry, dynamic pages in the [IMG] tags are not allowed".

This is the first time we've ever bought a fresh pineapple (instead of in a can). So I'm wondering.. is there any specific way you're supposed to cut it?

I have never gotten that one before...I'm guessing it doesn't like the site you uploaded the picture to. Try using photobucket or something (if you haven't already). That usually works.

Grr...photobucket is being all screwy...

Assuming you're using a site like photobucket (well, really, if you are using photobucket, because that's the one I'm familiar with)... use the "IMG" tag link they give you... don't use "Copy image location."

If you're still having troubles... post a link to the page with the pic and I can help you work it out (or I'll try)

make sure that the URL ends in .jpg or .jpeg
and if it doesnt work, it might be the site so take a screencap of it and post the picture through imageshack or photobucket.


this site is good for the first few parts but at the end, to remove the core, i learned something different...

instead of slicing it in 4 down the center and THEN removing the core, my AP Bio teacher (who taught us how to cut a pineapple for no reason except she felt like it. at least it was during our plant unit. haha).
anyway, she said to cut around the core so like, make 4 slices to form a box around the center.
hmm...its hard to explain...

u know how apple slicers have a circle in the middle for the core, its like that. cut around it. then u can eat everything but the center.

i hope that makes sense. if i find a better site, i'll post it.

Make 4 downward cuts around the core leaving 4 large hunks of pineapple. Remove any last little “eye” parts.

My hubby finally taught me how to cut a whole pineapple. We've got a pineapple permanently on our grocery list every week, but I usually manage to weasel out of the gruesome pineapple decapitations.

Yeah. I can't look at my food or I can't eat it. It sucks, but I can't seem to overcome it. Some food, like most un-cut-up fruits, don't freak me out. I can't eat meat if I look at it, though. My brother cuts my steaks for me.

Today I had to explain to all my friends why my binder says "The Official FAN-atic of the CMP²" and drew a picture of a pineapple near it. It was funny. They gave me weird looks when I said CMP² is "Cult of (Multiple) Personalities of the Pineapple" It was great! I got to tell Katie about Psych!
