The one with what they thought was a drug od, an acupuncturist, Stodelmiere's son rebeling, and the air in a beach ball solves the case? Right?

Okay..I'm sure someone said this earlier...but when they do a "hair salon" or "barbershop" eppy, they must call it "Con Aire". Yes..I'm quite lazy today...all I'm doing this weekend is playing on the computer..whoohooo!!!

Other (quite silly) ideas:

- Shawn is kidnapped by a bunch of groupies thinking he's Chris Evans

- Gus is kidnapped by a bunch of groupies thinking he's Bud from the Cosby Show

- Lassie has a stalker - it's the blonde chick he went to Shawn and Gus' high school renunion. She's out of jail (from her minor drug bust) and wants Lassie at all costs.

- Mary, Shawn and Gus must investigate a computer genius who manipulates peoples' lives from his mom's basement (think of a soft version of Live Free Die Hard)

- The police department finds out that Shawn is not a psychic and arrest Shawn, Gus and Henry for fraud (then Shawn wakes up from his nightmare...it was all a terrible dream).

- Shawn and Gus go on a roadtrip to Las Vegas..and what happened in Vegas, did not stay in Vegas.

See what happens when I'm on a break from work. Crazy plot-bunnies invade my brain.


EDIT: I have to add more..sorry...

- Shawn and Gus help a writer's assistant with an unusual task. A movie script was stolen from his office and the culprit is holding the script for ransom. The assistant's boss does not know the script is missing..they have 48 hours before his boss must present the script to the studio execs. (this is of course a tribute to our fav assistant dude Jay B..or the poker player in Poker I Barely Knew Her *wink*)

I like the whol nightmare one that could be cool! Also the whole lassie stalker one would be hilarious, Bu-groupies is genius, pretty much I like all of them!

Thanks! I need to figure out more Lassie "mild" angst (this is a family show). And I need Henry plots and a Chief Vick plot (I love that eppy with her sister)...so you may see me shooting more ideas out in a few...(still hyper..just soooo happy not to be working!)

- Love at First Psych - Gus and Jessica cross paths again...this time they go on a real date...but Gus' second job (and Shawn) get in the way.

- Father Knows Best...Really? - Henry helps Shawn and Gus on a cold case..and when the case turns hot, Shawn sees his father in a new light...literally.

- Finding Winky - Shawn's favorite "froggy toy" is missing...along with Gus. Why would someone want a frog and a pharmacutical salesman? Henry, Shawn and McNabb (his first case) are on the hunt to find their friends. (there has to be a storyline for that frog! LOL! And a shout out to Winky Cutto)

- NickNack Jack - Uncle Jack comes back and needs the guys help...he stole some nicknacks from the wrong guy..and they have to put the articles back before they guy finds out it is missing. Bruce Campbell guest stars. (and shout out to PsychNickNack)

Bad Day for Lassie and the Snarky Psychic - Lassie and Shawn get stuck in an ice cream truck. They were fighting over the last creamsicle when the door closed behind them. Little did they know it was a trick from Mr. Yang. Apparently Shawn "broke the rules" on their first meeting and Mr. Yang up the anty by involving Lassie in the game. (I had to think of something outrageous for Snarky cause it's a cool name!!!)

Bound for Terror - Gus finds out that his newest client, Dr. Acu Bound, is not all that he seems. Saw-ish...but in a gentle kind of way.

Sarcasm Love - Shawn meets his match when a saucy sarcastic sargent requests his help on a case. Sparks fly..and so does Jule's emotions.

The Importance of Being Minny - Gus' college friend, Minny Driver (not THAT Minnie Driver) has a problem. Although her latest novel, "Minner Dinner and the Templar Code" brought her fame and fortune, it also brought misery (not THAT misery either ). Someone is using her ideas in her books to commit crimes across the city. Shawn and Gus must find the Minner Dinner impersonator.

My Psychie Valentine Shawn has been receiving "interesting" letters and cards from a person who calls themself "The Psych Luvr". They have all been harmless until he receives a package with a stuffed rabbit toy without a head (family show). It looks just like the real rabbit he had when he was a kid. Jules and Lassie quickly find "The Psych Luvr"...but that person is NOT the stalker. They are a true fan and is attending UCSB for criminal law. Shawn, Gus, and Psych Luvr must find the stalker.

Martha Not George Jules finally has a great night lined up with her friend George. He always sends a car for her and they always have a great time. This time, when the car picks her up, she finds her evening is not with George, but with Martha. Martha C. Pennington, an ex-CIA operative she helped put behind bars in Miami.

The Man with One Red Spork - Bill Sanderson, one of the most richest people in Santa Barabara area, county-type place, was found dead with a red spork sticking through his heart. The last person to see him alive was his daughter, Pineberry Nectareena. She is an actress and changed her name from Molly Sanderson to Pineberry. She is considered a person of interest, but there is no evidence and no motive. Shawn and Gus are called on to the case, but it is proving to be quite distracting, as Shawn's favorite actress is Pineberry Nectareena. (warning..Jules and Abigail jealousy..WWHAATT!!).


Inconceivable McNabb and his friend, Inigo, were enjoying their weekend camping trip until they stumbled upon an odd sight, Shawn Spencer sitting on a rock, calm and collected...as if he were waiting for a bus. He had no idea how he got there, nor did he know how long he had been there. By the look of his "5 o'clock shadow", it's been at least two days. He only has one injury, a twisted knee. McNabb, Inigo and Shawn must make their way out of the woods before the mystery trickster comes back to finish what he started. Mandy Patinkin guest stars as Fesik Stephenson.

Psych Rulz - UCSB has been seeing a rash of accidents during the semester. One incident lead to a student's death. Shawn goes to college as a full-time student and finds out the hard way that when you break The Rulz, there will be consequenzes...ah...consequences. Beta..beta anyone!


Spaz TV - The SBPD must find a serial injurer. They do not kill their victims, he creates accidents and videotapes them..then places the feed on his only internet tv station called "Spaz TV". The only clue is that the culprit drives a Mazda 626..and there are only 4,000 in the area to track. The gang must find Spaz before the next accident happens. Think "Untraceable" but not so harsh...

I love them all not just because my name was used in one which by the way totally fits my kinda Psych episode! Deep in the Art of Texas - Shawn and Gus are hired to help an artist, Tisha Lee Mayweather, find her mother. She was adopted and always wanted to know her background. Tisha informed them she was referred to Psych by Detective Lassiter. He is her model for her painting class. After a 30 minute laugh from the guys, they set out to find her mom. The closer they get to finding the mom, the more they find out why the mom wanted to disappear.

Green Sleeves One of the accountants at Thomas Pink Internation, Beth Green, has stumbled upon a "black hole" in the books. She confides in her friend, Detective Lassier, for help. The guys are called in when both Lassiter and Beth Green end up missing.

I've been watching NCIS (im obsessed with it now but not as much as Psych) and i had a dream the other night and it was a Psych and NCIS crossover. it was pretty interesting. A petty officer was murdered in Santa Barbara so the whole NCIS team had to come to Santa Barbara and team up with the SBPD. Lassie got annoyed with Shawn and Tony cause they kept making movie references. Abby got excited cause Shawn was "psychic" and Jules and Ziva hit it off and became friends. The strange thing though: Lassie and Gibbs kinda got along. There was even a Gibbs slap to Shawn. I think i started laughing in my sleep...

I just started watching NCIS and I too am sorta obsessed (not as much as Psych though). That idea sounds really awesome and I so wish I had that dream

oh yeah that would be funny. and Ziva would get jealous cause Tony's flirting with Jules. Then Ziva can tell Shawn that he likes Jules and Shawn can tell Ziva that she likes Tony! Then everyone would know who likes who. that would be great. We could throw Shawn into calling McGee a nickname. we should so get the writers to see this. do you think they'd go for it?

I think this episode is genius but I don't know if they could do it because NCIS is originally from a totally different network. But other than that I'm really not sure if the writers would go for it, but we could try.

I have another episode idea. I haven't read through this whole thread so I'm sorry if someone has already said it.

Shawn and Jules could start dating but they decide to hide it from everyone. Then Gus starts to get suspicious of where Shawn is all the time when he's with Jules. Maybe even Lassiter would get suspicious too.

That sounds really fun and interesting... it would make a great fic!





Unfortunately, I see 2 problems.
1) Pretty sure the Psych writers can't take ideas for legal reasons.
2) Even though NCIS shows on USA, that's in syndication... it is a CBS show... making it *very* unlikely a crossover would ever be possible (we can't even get a Psych/Monk crossover! much less cross stations/studios)

Also, didn't they just cancel NCIS?

CBS for new shows or USA for syndication?

(I actually wouldn't know, just interested in which one is possibly canceled)

CBS. A lot of shows are getting axed on the broadcast networks this season. A few are even really good! (i.e., Pushing Daisies-I will mourn that one for a while!)

i know that they would never cross over. it was just a dream, a dang good one, but a dream.

and acubound, they didnt cancel NCIS. I'm so happy too cause i would die. There are 2 shows i would die if they cancelled: NCIS and Psych

Hmm...must have been some of their other crime dramas. I'm pretty sure Without a Trace was, and maybe a couple others. Apparently there are too many crime procedurals on television. Good thing Psych doesn't fit that mold! I think we're guaranteed to keep our show for at least two more seasons.

This has been mentioned a lot on this board but mainly in earlier pages. I also thought of this and was having them hide it and he didnt tell Gus or any1 but the guys are slowly catching on.

Like they leave together, they have private jokes, Shawn gets touchy with Jules when in a meeting but Jules doesnt care although she would have a year ago when they werent dating[Gus/Lassie catch that one], They talk on the phone way more. Just subtle clues but the rest of the gang catches on, after they've been dating for a while[a couple months].

Then every1 gets mad but the 2 did it because they thought that if they agreed on anything or didnt agree it would be because they were together. [impared judgement]



Also just reading the NCIS/Psych dream already got me dreaming for this eppy! McGee and Gus would be buddies, Tony would hit on Jules[Shawn jealous and Ziva jealous], Abby fascinated/flirting with Shawn[then Jules/McGee jealous McGee a little less], Lassie and Gibbs both skeptical of Shawn[Gibb head slap to Shawn], Tony and Shawn all the 80's refrences/movies you can think of [Shawn would be ok with Tony because he knows it wont go anywhere with Jules but still a little jealous], Shawn would give McGee a new nickname, Gibbs would know that Shawn is lying but let it slide, Ziva would semi-befriend Jules, Jules wouldnt like Abby because of the flirting but McGee knows that Shawn isn't a threat. This would be the best crossover EVER!!!!!!!!!!! All the thought are rushing through my head and it would be the best fanfic ever if we cant get an episode!

And the NCIS crossover sounds so good. Now that is too funny! Great idea! Just FYI for everyone - you don't have to pose nude to be a model for an art class. For figure drawing, yes. But for something like a painting class you don't necessarily need to be nude. In costume for a "scene" would be just as realistic. Have the class painting him sitting for a "classic" formal portrait in his civil war uniform. Or have him dressed up as something like a Roman General. Even better, have him doing it on the sly, keeping it from everyone, because he's got a secret crush on the female artist. Plenty for Gus and Shawn to laugh at.

I agree it would be more in character for NCIS to go to Santa Barbra then the Psych crew come out to them, I mean we should still keep it in Psych but I think that we should do the still/black and white picrure thing I just don't know how to start.
