Pineapples For Peace!

Ok so my mom knows that I'm a HUGE Psych fan and that I keep looking for pineapple related things, so last night she showed me these little pink pineapple earrings that she wore when she was a kid and she said that I could keep them. I thought that was a really sweet thing to do because she's had them for so long!

This is just crazy.

So yesterday my family and a couple of my brothers' friends took a day-trip to Chicago. My brothers and their friends went to some geeky convention while my parents and I went shopping, mainly in Chinatown. And while I was there, I found the following pineapple-y things:

- BBQ grilled chicken kebabs with pineapple (it was delicious, btw)

- a pineapple-shaped pot with 2 little elephants on it, seen here (I actually bought that and some bamboo to go with it)

- some Hello Kitty stickers with her holding a pineapple

- many repeats of pineapple gummies

- many, MANY repeats of pineapple smoothies

- a little set of Pooh Bears dressed in different costumes, one being a pineapple

- a drink from Hawaii called "Aloha" that had a pineapple-orange flavor (found in a Chinese grocery store)

- a tiny woven pineapple made from the kind of ribbon you would tie a present with

- a red pineapple-shaped ornament with red tassels hanging down from the bottom

- a pineapple-shaped crystal ornament that cost $30

- a garnishing book that had a house made from a pineapple on the cover

There were probably a couple more that I forgot about, but I think that's a long enough list

there's a food store by me in nj where the produce is right by the door when you walk in. and on a table right in front is always pineapple. so everytime i go into that store, i see the pineapple and get excited.
i went in that store the other day with my friend, who is the friend who likes psych almost as much as me, and she started laughing. but not AT me like most would, but WITH me cuz it was exciting. hahaha.
thats one of the reasons why she's my best friend.

I live around the corner from a super walmart (it's like a supermarket and a department store together) so I'm almost tempted to grab a psych season 3 dvd and lay it in the display of pineapples in the produce section...I'm afraid I'd get in trouble for it though...haha

lol that'd be fun to do when no one's looking. I wonder how many people would get the reference.

So I was playing Zelda today and I came across a pineapple!! I was very excited!

omg souplantion/sweet tomatoes has just begun to serve pineapple salad! its romaine lettuce w/ pineapple chunks, some other stuff that wasnt cool enough to really notice and, wait for it... pineapple vinagrette dressing!!! it was amazing!

o and i found flip flops w/ pineapples on the straps!

i donated blood the other day and afterwards they make you stay for 10 minutes and eat a snack and drink some juice and they pineapple juice as an option! i was very excited

when i was 10 and we toured the dole plantation on oahu in hawaii and im attempting to find the pics of me w/ my face in one of those giant dancing pineapple paintings w/ the cutouts (its awesomely cheesy... esp since i totally wasnt tall enough haha)

for my bday (not for 2 weeks but my mom gets impatient lol) my mom bought me a pineapple apron, potholder, oven mitt and coasters! her idea of a joke gift since im only 20 but i dont care i love and i fully intend on wearing said apron while i make pineapple upside down cake... but not in an easy bake oven, since i only have the mrs fields version and you can really only make cookies and muffins

im also hoping that my roommie will give in and agree to the pineapple welcome mat at wal mart

So, I still had my pineapple from the pineapple character contest in the refrigerator.

I cut the top off it today and planted it.

me cutting my first pineapple...it was sad to see him go ...

i was looking through my cellphone pics and remembered that i took a pic of a pineapple while in nj and forgot to post it.
and technically, this was in Pennsylvania but it was like, 10 minutes over the border. hahah

Interesting app. There isn't much to it, but I still kind of find it addicting.

I think it'd be cool if there was an easy way for fans to post their pineapples on the board. (I had to save mine as a print screen to show it.) We could name them, compare them and stuff. There's embedded codes for everything, but I couldn't seem to find one that would work for the board. Just a suggestion...

that was funny. is that why facebook had us make pineapple characters? as a test run to see if this would be popular?
i agree though that it should have a save or email function besides just facebook. maybe so we can post it on twitter too?

A little while ago I was watching "The Princess Bride" and I saw a pineapple! Near the end when Inigo and Count Rugen are fighting you can see one in each of the huge fruit bowls in the background. I can't believe I didn't notice it earlier.

Today, I noticed that my AP US teacher has a pineapple file holder on her desk.

I got excited and starting grinning like mad right in the middle of her lecture. Everyone thought I was crazy, lol.

Ha, that's like me when the student teacher for my english class mentioned his favorite show, "Thundercats", and muffins. Naturally, I though of Shawn's process and the commercial jingle and almost lol'd right in the middle of class.

Yesterday I was in Spanish class and I noticed that the girl in front of me had pineapples on her flip flops.
