that one's actually Liquor in the front, poker in the back....

and again: Greetings from the gutter, you only get it down here biggrin.gif
USAophile
for Gus Walks into a Bank, i think it's a refernce to the fact that many jokes start with"____ walks into a bar"
for The Old and the Restless, i'm pretty sure that there is a show called The Young and the Restless
skinnycat
Any Given Friday...yes, it is the time Psych comes on, but there was a football movie called Any Given Sunday (very good, BTW)

Truer Lies- probably a spoof on Arnold's True Lies

spenstar
You forgot Lights, Camera ... Homicido, which is probably just like "Lights, Camera, Action!" expect with the Spanish word for homicide instead of action since it was about a telenova.
butch
Weekend warriors - is IMO is referring to reservists ie National Guard, Army etc who spend one weekend a month being a soldier and 2 weeks a year - have the nickname of weekend warriors.

Carlton and friends were weekend warriors as they meet on the weekends and they probably spend 2 weeks rehearsing the reinactment.

Actually it's probably referring to how in tennis when someone wins the entire match they say "Game, set, match."

I think tongue.gif I could be wrong about that though...
Winky_Cutto
"Speak Now or Forever Hold Your Piece"

It does refer to the wedding, but that would be 'peace'... in this case I believe they used piece as in slang for a gun
