What Is YOUR Favorite Moment From Any Psych episode ??

Hey there, eventhough I don't get out here much I know you have a part that must have put a smile on your face at one time or another. I thought I would start a thread of EVERYONES favorite part of an episode to share with us all.

Here is MY favorite part of an episode. The football episode where Shawn joins the team to get real close...WELL... I LOVE the part where Jules is getting that look on her face checking out all the players passing her by and then to see it was Shawn was priceless and after that Shawn did the pysch up move with the other player and the other player did it back WHOOMP went down Shawn THAT MY PYSCH FRIENDS WAS THE FUNIEST THING I EVER SAW. I WATCHED IT 40 TIMES IN A ROW AND LAUGHED EVEN MORE EACH TIME I WATCHED. That was sooo hilarious that THAT would be my moving avatar if I knew how to make one.



SO I guess I am asking what YOUR favorite moment is from any PYSCH episode. Have fun with it.

In "Earth, Wind, and Wait for it..."
When the inspector was running down the violations in the office and said "Your smoke detector is a paper bowl with an M & M stuck to it," (then showed a shot of it) I laughed harder at that than anything else ever on the show. Also on the same episode, Shawn constantly trying to get a fist bump from her and then finally at the end when she is on a gurney in slow mo gets it.

That was my favorite too!!! I laughed sooo hard

MY FAVORITE?!? How can I possibly pick my favorite! I'll just say some of my favorites

in American Duos, when Shawn and Gus are sneaking to Emilina's room and they're slowly walking against the wall even though people could clearly see them. THEN the old guy in the wheelchair slowly rides by. their faces after he leaves are priceless!! This scene gets me every time

When I first saw this scene, I was literally on the floor crying...My husband and dog staring at me like I had lost my mind....maybe I have ....

That scene makes me laugh sooo much!!!

OMG!! That is our favorite scene from season 3- "That's right. It's real...feel free to drink it in." LMAO!! When Shawn went down my husband and I laughed so hard we had tears rolling down our face. I LOVE having a DVR because we rewound that scene about 40 times, too!!!

I love the scene in Ghosts where they 'fight' and Shawn goes boneless, and Gus pretends to hurt his back, then Gus grabs him, Shawn is on the ground being dragged along. . .I can watch this scene over and over. . .took a sceenie lol.

I think what I love about this scene....besides the obvious awesomeness of Shawn and Gus's interactions with one another...Is the cinematography! The director really did a fabulous job with this scene, I LOVE the perspective!

My two favorite Psych moments ever involve Gus being "dead", lol.

On Game, Set, Muuurder?, when the landlord comes in while Gus is pretending to be the tennis star on the floor. I could not stop laughing for ten minutes. The whole way Shawn describes chopping up the body and burning the pieces, and then Gus saying, "Okay, I've heard enough,"... hilarious.

And then on Six Feet Under The Sea, with Plan B... "Oh my God, I killed him!" And then Gus getting up and running after Shawn. I laughed about that for the rest of the episode, I think.

OMG YES
i think that is the only moment that made me have to stop the episode so i could stop laughing enough to watch the rest of the episode.... the first 5 times i watched it.

As someone mentioned earlier....it is quite difficult to pic a favorite..they have soo many great moments.

Top of mind for me are:

"Weekend Warriors"
When Shawn asks Gus to participate in the civil war reanactment and Gus was like "In what role would I play in this production of yours?" And as an African-American, I was thinking THE EXACT SAME THING. I said, "Oh no they didn't!!!!" And as the scene played, the whole exchange of that topic was PERFECT!!! Eventually Shawn saying, "I was thinking Denzel!!" Excellent! Great moment for me.


"Scary Sherry: Biana's Toast"
Shawn and Gus running from the fraternity screaming and jumping around hysterically..and Gus driving away leaving Shawn. Priceless.


And I did laugh when Shawn got "hit upside the head" by Druemmer on Lassie Did a Bad Thing because he said "OOOOOWWWW!!". Most shows skip past real reaction to getting hit. It cracked me up. Unexpected.

Oh..that was three! Hard to stick with one!

You know why I LOVE this thread...I'm too indecisive...can't pick just one either....BUT I CAN read everyone's choices and giggle...well really it ranges from giggle to full blown laugh!

I watch weekend warriors two days ago, and almost blew coffee out of my nose at that scene....then Gus's face when he see's himself in the mirror with his uniform...PRICELESS!!!

and I love when Shawn says "Dude you look awesome!" when Gus is looking in the mirror. That was so great!

I swear that man could say more with a look than most people can say with pages of dialog! That's probably why James and Dulé play off each other so well.

I really love all those scenes too, but another of my favs is the surprise birthday party for lassy... "They now know where I live...." lol, keeps cracking me up everytime too

oooh, and of course Shawn and Gus at the playground, that's just priceless. "I got a call about two creepy guys hanging around here..." "We didn't see anybody..."

Plan B was amazing!!!! it will never get old!!!

Psych, best friend moment of all time! Gus walks into a Bank. When Gus is giving Shawn a hug and Shawn says "It's ok buddy. You know I'm gonna be back in like 30 minutes right." "Oooh, that's a tight hug".
I don't think those are the exact words, but by far next to all the Shules moments that just takes the cake for me! I know it's just a show, but they are just sooo special ) Feel the love.

In "Disco Didn't Die; It Was Murdered," (although I love pretty much that whole episode) when Shawn is pretending to have a vision based on Henry's 'sign language.' That scene is hilarious. I love when Shawn goes, "It's a big birthday cake!" and Gus goes, "Ooh, make a wish - Wait, what?" =P That whole episode is awesome.

Shawn running the planetarium show- Absolutely!

Pretty much every episode leaves me laughing hard, so there's too many to name there. But I think right now some of my favorite moments are the serious/dramatic ones in Mr. Yang- especially when Shawn finds out that his mom's been taken and falls back into the chair. I think his character grew a ton in those couple seconds.

OMG!!! hahah i watched that scene like 50 times and just about died laughing!

I love all the dramatic and seriouse moments!!! Mr. Yang was just simply an amazing episode!!

Haha that is actually one of my favorites too. My other two would be the screaming session from Scary Sherry, and the doctor scene from "The Old and the Restless." The doctor scene is flawless, from the "John Doe" quotes, to incognito, to the med students. Amazing scene.

Some of my favorites, that i can think of.


Black and Tan: when the guy holding the party list calls Shawn "Tan" and Shawn flips out and says "how dare you make that assumption, you should be ashamed of yourself and your family. & then later when he was mad everyone because they didn't believe he looked like a model and he was like "seriously guys, look at my jaw". haha

Shawn and Gus of the dead: The day after Shawn and Gus are in the museum and then the security guard opens the door and Gus bolts out and knocks the guy over with the door. HILARIOUS!

The Old and the Restless: doctor scene was so funny. the whole language and Gus having to deliver warthog babies.

American Duos of course, the singing at the end gets me every time.

Scary Sherry: Screaming

That's just a few. I seriously roll on the ground laughing during every episode

Another one I just love is this one in "And Down The Stretch Comes Murder"

Shawn: Are the tapes ready?

Gus: Check! Fake psychic ability?

Shawn: Full of it!

Gus: Yes you aaare!

and of course Shawn sniffing up Jules!

and yeah, like every single second of the whole show!

I can't even listen to "Take on Me" by Aha any more without thinking about Shawn and Gus singing it (and they even sang the wrong verse)! Jules: "What the hell was that?" Shawn: "That is us, advancing to the second round." Jules: "But you got the words wrong." Shawn: "They are Norweign.(I know I spelled that wrong) even they didn't know what they were singing!!!!



I laugh every time about Plan B!

There are so many moments I love about this show! I can't pick just one!!!

LIke I said there are so many moments that I love, but the moment in Daredevils I love the most. It is where Shawn and Gus are in red and blue suits; wading in the kiddie pool. Red tells them that they may want to wear their blindfolds. Then Red doses them in gasoline! The minute the torch is lit, both Shawn and Gus scream like little girls and jumping out of the kiddie pool! I have see this scene so many times and is now in the opening of the show that I laugh every time!!!

and then they try to pat themselves dry because they have gasoline on them!! hahaha They have the BEST screams in the history of acting!!! I love that part!!

There are WAY too many for me to pick just one, but I was just watching If You're So Smart and laughed for about and hour when Shawn and Gus go to talk to the gym teacher in the teacher's lounge and Gus tries to slide across the coffee table and falls off.

Ok it took me like five minutes to decide on one becasue I love all the moments in the show but my favorite part would have to be Shawn and Gus singing Shout

Mine is from "Scary sherry,biancas toast"

when Shawn and Gus are climbing up the stairs and right when they make it up Gus gets his foot caught in the floorboard and Gus keeps looking at Shawn like "dont leave me here, dont leave me here to die Shawn!"

I laugh so hard everytime i see it.

And "use the lases" gosh, classic!

This whole time nobody bothered to mention...

"Yes, the word is - Banana. A yellow fruit, also a kind of pudding, a delicious pudding. Anna Banana would like to hear... Venus by Bananarama. Banana!"

I love in Dis-Lodged when Shawn goes "You see this? It's the lodge radar. And look here, it's me, flying underneath it. Arrck. Arrck. And look down here! It's Gus, he can't fly." His face when he looks back at Lassy, and the bird noises he makes are awesome! I laugh every time.

anyways, i have a few.

my favorite is in the spanish soap opera episode (my fave episode ever), and gus is watching TV and goes "OH MY GOD! SHAWN'S the father of Serena's baby!"
Also, "You don't seduce a woman with your forehead."

i also like when, in 9 lives, the cat's sitting shotgun in gus's car.
"Dude, he gets carsick and you KNOW that."

Finally, when they're entering American Duos, he goes "And this is my partner, Guss TT Showbiz." And Gus goes "The extra T is for extra talent." I quote that so much for no apparent reason now...

DUDE there are WAY too many to count! I agree with every single one that has already been mentioned and I hate to repeat but Boneless Shawn in Ghosts and Close talking in Bounty Hunters are classics. I also love anytime the show gets dramatic and serious Mr. Yang immediatly comes to mind, although the scene in the Psych office is my fave, when Shawn is throwing furniture because he realizes they've been duped.

But, ones that havent been mentioned that LITERALLY made me fall off my chair:

In Shawn (and Gus) of the Dead, when they're going after the mummy in the van and Gus does an '11 point' turn in his little blue car, I'm dieing laughing just thinking of it.

And in High Noonish when Lassie walks in and Gus and Shawn would SWEAR they were in the 1800s, playing 19-card stud and then saying Lassie was 'all hopped up on Cactus Juice'. ROFL I died.

And of course the one lines are always mad, but the one in Disco Didn't die, when they're in the pawn shop and gus is like: why are you so attracted to Shiny things?' and Shawn's says: oh like you aren't, and they make the comparison to a racoon and the moment they have is hilarious.

And of course, all the creepy smiles that Gus has in Black and Tan HIL-AR-I-OUS. haha.

the 11 point turn was hilarious, and shawn getting after gus for it was great too.

1 also forgot (i forget what episode), when shawn wants the fist bump, and gus goes "No way, Shawn. I only use these hands to touch myself."
I was pretty literally rofl'ing there.

Shawn at the funeral, singing along and shouting Amen and Alleluia. That was great!

Hmmm...

#1 In the episode where... (sorry i don't know the episodes names. D:) the thief didn't actually steal anything, but everybody thought he did.

He was going to steal a painting from this Yat (??), while Shawn and Gus were watching, and Shawn and Gus looked into the window.

The theif had taken the painting... and it was now a painting of a clown.



I gotta think about where my second favorite moment is from... hm...
