Hi! I'm just curious about a joke that Shawn made in the episode "Any Given Friday Night at 10PM, 9PM Central". I'd just like to know what the joke about dating a dancer named glitter was all about.
P.S. If this is a really obvious joke to most of you, I apologize. Knowing Shawn, it was probably an 80's movie reference, and I'm too young to know much about that period. "^_^

I thought that was in reference to Mariah Carey's move "Glitter". It centers on the life and times of a struggling singer from the early club music scene in the 1980s. It was made in 2001. It cracked me up...well...the "joke" as well as the so-called movie.
But I could be wrong.

oh i thought it was that her "stage name" lets say was destiny and her real name is glitter, but wouldnt her stage name be glitter more likely?

Ah..that could be it. I think in terms of 80's references..so I went straight to that bad movie. LOL! So yeah..good point! Totally could be that.
