Katherine LaNasa (that bitch is an alien/Shannon from Signals & Codes) was a patient on a rerun of Grey's Anatomy. Recognized her voice.

I was in the kitchen with Grey's on the TV, but I wasn't really paying attention. I heard her voice and I automatically said "That bitch is an alien". I looked up and started laughing when I saw her!!

Hopefully this is where I can put this notice.

This Saturday, September 19th, the SYFY channel is showing (again) the Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 at 1:00PM Eastern, which has a much younger JD in it. I believe this is just the second time this will be shown on t.v.

OK, I am pushing this a little as being Burn-Notice related, but here goes:

Tonight (Sunday 9/20), ESPN Classic is showing the documentary One Day in September, which is about the terrorist attack on the 1972 Munich Olympics where 10 Israeli athletes and coaches were killed.

One of the Israelis killed was Moshe Weinberg, who was the father of Guri Weinberg, who played Ari Zamar in "Family Business." Guri was an infant when his father was killed. It has been a while since I saw it, so I can't remember if he spoke in the documentary or they might have showed a picture of him as an infant.

Anyway, it is a very good documentary and is on ESPN Classic at 8 p.m. ET.

I just found 2 old guest stars in one program. Tonight's episode of Castle had both Arye Gross, who was the cubicle monkey/assassin from Hard Bargain and also Matt Winston, Howard from Question and Answer. Nice to see old guests getting work.
petunia846
Which reminds me, Agent Bly was on Ghost Whisperer last Friday. It was a pretty dull role for such an awesome actor.

Well, for anyone watching that episode of "Yes, Dear," don't blink if you're looking for Jeffrey. Think he has one line, maybe two. But I believe he was wearing a cowboy hat.

Thanks for the list, krocla!

Michael Shanks has one of his films 'Judicial Indiscretion' on the Lifetime Movie Network at 18.00 14th October...not sure which Zone this is....

Not sure where this belongs, but it didn't seem like enough to start a new thread. The Monk page on the USA site has a video tribute to Monk with stars of the other USA shows. It has Sharon and a bit of Jeffrey at the end. It's in the much maligned video player section, so those who hate it on the BN page will probably hate it here too. Maybe it will show up on YouTube or the Monk Facebook page.

Thanks for posting that, Karen! I enjoyed the video and wouldn't have seen it without you pointing it out! LOL @ James Roday's 'They ran out of hand sanitizer!' Jeffrey and Sharon were lovely, of course!

Michael Shanks is to appear in Smallville...as per MSOL

MSOL News

"... Hawkman and Dr. Fate will both be part of the Smallville incarnation of the Justice Society.

Playing Hawkman will be an actor who brings his own notable sci-fi following to the role. Michael Shanks, who has recently been appearing on Burn Notice, but is best known as Dr. Daniel Jackson on Stargate SG-1, will portray the classic DC hero."

Just flipping through the tivo's upcoming movie listings and spotted The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines with GA. Will be on TNT, Sun 11/8 at 4pm EST. THe other one, The Librarian: Quest for the Spear will be on before that at 2, but GA's not in that one.

Has anyone see this movie before? Is it decent?

The Librarian series are all cute, you can't take them too seriously. The story and effects are a bit cheesy, and campy but still fun. The Librarian is played by Noah Wylie, and he has a mentor who is Bob Newhart, so how bad can it be? From what I remember, GA is both beautiful and feisty, so not much of a stretch.

Ok not a TV listing but Michael Shanks will be appearing at a Convention in LA this weekend....

Not sure if I should put this elsewhere, but this thread is a good start.

Jeffrey's appearance at the Chris Evert tennis tournament in November is scheduled to air on ESPN2 during their Australian Open coverage. Right now, their online schedule shows it airing at 2 a.m. on Monday, January 18. Maybe someone with onscreen programming can check it, but I assume the thing listed as Raymond James Chris is the Raymond James Chris Evert Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic.

I'm hoping they air it again at a more reasonable hour for the DVR-less among us. The match (2 sets) was Jeffrey, Chris Evert, Matt Lauer, and Martina Navratilova, with Jon Lovitz as the umpire. The players were miked and were pretty funny. There was also a brief stand-up interview with all of them at the end, which I hope will be aired too.

Just noticed in a commercial that Esai Morales who was Ernie in Broken Rules will be on the new SciFi (no I will not call them by their new name) show Caprica. I'd been on the fence about trying that out, but I guess now I will. He was great on BN. I love that episode.

Very interesting. I liked Lucy's character a lot. I always wondered whether there was anything between Lucy and Michael. She does say he trained her, so maybe Michael's moral code wouldn't let him go there. But you know there was a special affinity between them. And I don't think we ever saw Fi and Lucy in the same scene....

ETA: Just saw Katherine LaNasa (Shannon Park from Signals and Codes) on HBO's Big Love. I thought she was great as Shannon.

Darn, missed Paul Tei. I was flipping channels earler and watched Bones for about 10 minutes and saw one of Nate's Eastern European girlfriends -- was it Tatya? The one whose sister was captured by the human smugglers? Can't remember the episode or the actress's name. I think I just have BN on the brain!

Found an article on Brandon Morris, AKA FBI Agent Lane, who has played bad guys several times on America's Most Wanted. Neat.
