I learned a lot from his tv series. my husband just recently bought season 1-6 episodes during the chinese new year. we usually did not have time to watch tv but during holidays. it gave us a wider insight about the world of monk which relates much about my favorite nephew who happens to be autistic. sorry but i could not exactly tell the name of that particular episode where monk travelled to mexico and would never take any bottled water to drink but the sierra springs.

i then realized how much struggle we were giving my nephew when he just wanted a particular t-shirt to wear everytime.
all the nurses on duty in the special school where he was attending were also struggling because he would not wear any
t-shirt except the one he wanted, now we now! thanks for this tv series

i find it so informative, matter of fact i am beginning to tell other chinese social workers about monk and they
were so thankful about this information. now i see more of the world of my nephew and understands him more
and love him more-

laugh.gif Ok thanks USAophile, laugh.gif

The second thing i thought was interesting about Monk the character is , i find so many similar things about his manners with benjie my nephew- an episode again- ( i guess i have to really get back at some episodes to mention the titles smile.gif ) that part where "Randy" slid a white rat into his pocket and later he dumped his coat into the rubbish bin. He really could not take that coat?

My nephew at one time threw his red t-shirt outside the school window, Other things such as nice cookie boxes are piled up carefully with symmetry like the one Monk does, are kept inside his knick knack cabinets. He has a speech problem, he does body language to put his message across and we have to be fast and sharp to get it. And he has a photographic memory too!

hi BlackTsChica
yeah, that's what i do now, it transformed me. Actually i am a paramedic and perhaps that lead me to appreciate Monk in every way.
It's like getting inside the monk land- smile.gif
