Okay... I'm a big fan of this series, and being that television has a "history" I was happy to see the casting of Lucy Lawless (Xena) even if she had no interaction with her former cast member Bruce Campbell.

As much as I appreciate the chemistry of Michael and Fiona I would love to see Tyne Daly cast as an old friend of Michael's mom (Sharon Gless).

I'm a big fan of Bruce Campbell (Brisco County Jr.) and Sharon Gless (Switch, Cagney & Lacey) and it is always a treat to see old favorites cast with their former cast members. Hey... I'm old.

This is just an idea for the producers and casting folks to consider. There are just so many great character characters out there who should be considered for a guest role. Considering the "spy" theme...I'm thinking Peter Graves, Robert Culp, and Robert Vaughn... yeah...I'm that old.

You know, even though Burn notice and Alias have totally different spy tones, I think that Ron Rifkin (Arvin Sloan) and Kevin Weisman (Marshall) should definitely guest star. It would be cool if Marshall showed up and taught Mike a thing or two about gadgets!

tongue.gif I wouldn't mind seeing Micheal Vaugn (or is it Micheal Vartan)from Alias come in and play Fiona's ex-lover/partner. I'll bet he would make Micheal jealous! biggrin.gif

LOVE the idea of Marshall going on in one of his long-winded, stumbling explanations of a gadget, that would be great! laugh.gif

Speaking of long-winded and stumbling, I think JD kinda channeled Marshal when he played Jackson. That geeky-esque, awkward talk. So awesome.

I've heard Matt Nix compare this show to Magnum, sooooooooo how about Tom Selleck? Not sure where he'd fit in--has he ever played a BAD GUY?

If he wasn't already on Leverage, I would love to see them get Christian Kane to play an ex of Fi's. He makes a great bad guy.

laugh.gif I agree! The ironic thing is over on the Leverage M.B there are ALOT of B.N. fans. Some of us were posting about Alex Carter(Jason Bly) who guest starred on Leverage. We started talking about possible storylines if there was ever a Leverage-Burn Notice crossover.
Someone came up with the idea of a Elliot-Fiona hook-up. Like maybe they were former partners in crime-lovers.
I thought maybe the team on Leverage could come to Miami to do a con and maybe Sophie was one of Micheal's assets/lovers after he was forced to leave Fi. Then Sophie would tell Fi how she knew Micheal really loved her and would encourage Fi not to give up on him and her & Fi would become friends. I would also love to see Timothy Hutton acting opposite Jeffrey Donovan.
Then there could be a Micheal-Elliot showdown! I think Mike would wipe the floor with him. biggrin.gif tongue.gif

Don't feel alone, I remember watching each of those actors on those shows too. Okay, only vaguely, but I remember them. I also vaguely remember watching Anne Francis with that ocelot on "Honey West" -- I wouldn't mind seeing her cast in a Burn Notice episode (Anne Francis, that is, not the cat cool.gif ).

Casting...my husband insists he is needed as a cast member, guest, background addition or whatever on Burn Notice. How do I help make this happen for him? Dave is a 52 year old steelworker, kind of like a Sam character, what about a date for Mom? Thanks, JeanE.

OMG I would die of happiness if there were a Leverage-BN crossover!!! I can definitely see Sophie and Fi as friends. And maybe even Parker too. Three Pretty Musketeers... tongue.gif All annoying the heck out of Michael and Sam!
YinYinW911
How about a NCIS/BN cross over? I could see Tony always hitting on Fi, and Fi and Ziva either getting along great, or hating each other. And... I would pay money to see Gibbs smack the back of Fi and Ziva's head if they were bickering and the look that Fi would give Gibbs. Of course, this cross over would be less likely given that NCIS is official gov't, and BN is legally messier. Still. Just imagining a scenario where these personalities merge.

I would love to see that! That would be funny! The three of them would drive Micheal CRAZY!!!
