The room was totally untouched everything was neatly in place. If it weren't for the dead body in the bed you wouldn't know that anything had happened. Detective Morgan walked around the bed and made her observations.

Velvet ropes binding the hands and feet to the bed. Scarf around the neck, probably cause of death. Multiple cuts and burns to body. She is totally naked just like the others but if this is like the others there will be no signs of sexual intercourse. Damn third one in two weeks.

Morgan's partner for the last two years Detective Richards walked into the room, " Guess who we got here, Morgan."

"No time for guessing games Richards, if this is the same guy as the other two he is escalating, " spouted off Morgan.

"Judge Landau's daughter and guess what?" questioned Richards.

Morgan gave him a dirty look but didn't respond. Richards figured she wasn't in a guessing mood.

"Seems since we got a VIP, we are going to get VIP help with this case. Captain said Major Case is coming in to help," Richards smirked.

"What! We have only been on the case two weeks, we can solve this on our own, we are SVU this is our specialty. Hand holding of some Major Case honchos will only slow us down," yelled Morgan.

"Well it comes from the Chief of D's so you better play nice with others," Richards smiled.

After 10 years working with Brooklyn SVU and now they think I need Major Case to come hold my hand to solve a case. I have been doing well on my own. Now these guys are going to show up and want to run my show.

Morgan gets back to looking over the victim in the background she hears her partner making introductions with the Major Case detectives. When she turns around and she sees him, she can't believe her eyes, for a moment she stops breathing.

Is that Robert Goren? Omg I haven't seen him in over 12 years he still takes my breath away.

Her partner led them into the victim's bedroom.

"Taylor Morgan, this is Alex Eames and Robert Goren from Major Case. I have filled them in on what we know so far. Later we will go over the other cases. Detective Goren was asking questions about the body, I told him you could better fill him in," said Morgan.

The moment he saw her he didn't hear another word there was something about her that was familiar. Her eyes were midnight blue he had never seen eyes so blue. She was talking to him about the body but he couldn't hear a sound. He watched her eyes, her lips, he even let his eyes scan down her neck to her chest, the way she was bent over he was getting an eye full. He was finding himself aroused. He had to forcefully shake his head to bring him back to reality, where did he know her from.

"Any questions?" asked Morgan. Hoping he had some, she always loved his voice. The way he looked at her she thought maybe he remembered her but how could he, she was one of many.

Goren realized she had asked him a question he didn't want her to know he didn't really hear everything she said, he could get it all from the other reports. "Uh, no questions," he replied and got up and looked around the room.

Eames was going through her backpack, "Maybe this was a date gone bad? I found this in her backpack Different Loving: Sexual Dominance and Submission 101." As she held up the book.

"This isn't Dominance and Submission. Dominance and Submission is about trust and respect. The Dominant male brings the woman to climax till she begs for release, but she isn't allowed to …release until the Dominant gives her permission. Then there is always a code word for safety sake. Usually cuts and pain is when the female is the Dom, since men feel they need the punishment," explained Morgan. "Here we have a woman who was burned, cut, no sexual fluids, and she fought her restraints. This isn't a date gone bad. But that book has something to do with it. I didn't think so with the other two victims but now we have three. The other two victims owned the same book."

Eames, Goren, and Richards listened to her explain the difference in Dominance and submission. Morgan was embarrassed by the looks on their faces and continued with her search of the apartment and waited for her partner's comments.

"So, Morgan, how did you become such and expert?" smiled Richards.

Everyone in the room waited eagerly including Goren who was intrigued.

"Your wife, Richards, she taught me everything I know," she smiled. "I work SVU Richards, I learn what I need to learn to do my job well, a cop once told me his library card was his best investigative tool," she turned and smiled at Goren.

Damn where did he know her from, that cop must be him. He is always telling people that. He couldn't come out and just ask her, how could he forget a woman so beautiful?

I think I know where I am going to go with this, but it's to find the time to do it, so since I am now into reading books, lol, go figure, I will try to wrap it up this week with another chapter.

As they started to leave the crime scene Goren tapped Detective Morgan on the shoulder and called her aside, "I am usually good at remembering people, but have we met somewhere before?"

A big smile came across Detective Morgan's face, "Usually I would be offended if a man ever said that to me. But since there were over 200 people in the room when we first met I guess I shouldn't be offended. You spoke to my class at the academy and I must say made a real big impression on me," she blushed and looked down at her feet.

"You coming Morgan!" yelled Richards from down the hall.

"If you come by the squad room I will show you what we have on the other victims so far," she smiled and joined her partner.

Goren rubbed his scruffy chin and his then his curly hair, and thought, "The first time they met?"

They arrived at precinct 17 Morgan sat at her desk and began going through the stacks of folders scattered on her desk.

"Bobby, Richards and I are going to head to the Morgue, you coming?" asked Eames.

Bobby looked back at Morgan, still going through the files, "No, I'm going to see what she has on the other cases first. Call me if you find anything interesting."

Eames nodded, she found it strange that her partner didn't want to poke around dead bodies but just shook it off.

Bobby sat in the chair next to Morgan as she went through sorting out the files.

"Sorry, someone was looking for a certain file and messed up my system," she smiled. It sent shivers down Bobby's spine.

"You said the first time we met was at the police academy. So when was the second time?" His curiosity was nagging him.

She smiled again and leaned back in her chair, "Santana drug bust?"

He thought back that was one of the biggest drug bust in his career. "You were there?"

"Yeah, but so were a lot of people. I was in uniform at the time, being on 5'2" I wasn't a big presence, but I was there to help with the arrest when it was all over. After everyone went out to Harry's to celebrate. I had a few drinks and finally got up enough nerve to go talk to you. I had such a crush on you," she looked down and blushed. "I was walking toward you but you had this woman with you, I asked around her name was Lola and she was telling everyone she was your fiancé. So I decided to leave. After that I got transfered here to SVU. So how are you and Lola?"

His mouth just dropped, "Well I broke up with Lola that night."

"Oh, sorry," she sighed.

Captain Johnson walked up, "Morgan your case is solved. Your perp was caught in the act, in the Bronx. He tried to escape and was shot, DOA , close everything up and move on to your next case."

"Oh wow, see Major case does work fast," she laughed tossing the files back on her desk.

Bobby smiled,"Well do you want to go out and get a drink talk about old times?"

"Sorry, I can't. Hubby is home with the kids, need to get back and tuck them in," she smile.

"Married, congratulations," said Bobby with hesitation.

"Yes, next time you see Lola thank her. If I hadn't left that bar when I did I would have never met Tony. He helped me get a cab we traded phone numbers. He was a Marine, now he works with the FBI, we have a boy and a girl, but it was so great working with you, I mean I am glad they caught the guy, but I wish I could have seen you more to see the great detective at work," she got up shook Bobby's hand and headed out the door.

"Yeah Thanks Lola" he snickered under his breath.
