Olivia woke up to the shrill sound of her phone ringing. she looked at the caller- id and it was elliot. she smiled and answered the phone trying to sound as if she hadnt just woke up but it was useless. elliot knew she'd been asleep. "we have a case." "where?" "central park. two 16 year olds raped and murdered. fill you in on more when you get out here." "wiat your outside my house?" "yeah!i had tro pick you up! now hury up and get out here! we dont have all day!" elliot hung up and tried to be patient but he couldnt. he called liv back. "hury up!" he screamed into the phone. "i know im trying." olivia hung up the phone and ran out the door. "god what crawled up your ass and died?" "well if you would answer your phone the first time i call i wont have to be so frustrated." "im sorry. ok? does that make you feel better?" "not really." elliot mumbled. when they got there elliot slammed the door shut and fin gave liv a questioning look as if to say whats his problem? liv walked up to fin and whispered, "hes a little cranky that i didnt answer my phone right away." "damn. not another pissy detective." "another? who else is pissy?" "munch. he wont stop complaining about how he could be in bed sleeping and dreaming of casey. hes so caught up w/ her. hes practicly stalking her if you ask me." they're conversation was interupted by the captain. "hey you two! if your done chatting i would like to know some news!" "well, two girls raped and murdured. one witness, the friend they were w/." "and? c'mon guys!" "she doesnt remember anything. we think we should let her sleep on it so she can be fresh and tell us something in the morning." elliot walked over and started to yell at olivia. "liv this is not the time to sleep! you know that! now pull your head out of your ass and do your damn job!" "elliot im trying! what is your problem?" "you! you never do anything right! god you screwed up the last case it would just be better if you stayed home! but hey thats just me! if captian thinks your capable then i guess your staying." cragen and fin just looked at each other then at elliot and olivia. "now wait a minute. elliot, olivia didnt screw up the case. she made a tiny mistake. we all do. its not that big of deal. so just... calm down alright?" "she didnt tell you did she?" "tell us what?" " she fracked up the case because she didnt file her dd-5 right. so when casey took it to court she couldnt get the guy convicted cause of her mistake. yeah, i know shes always organized and blah blah blah well not this time she wasnt." "el, what is wrong with you?" she whispered trying to keep her tears at bay. "just dont talk to me. itll be better on all of us if you just sstay out of the way." elliot walked away and olivia put her head down. cragen put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "liv go home. you need rest. and dont worry bout him ill take care of it." "no. its fine. hes right. i did screw up and nones to blame but me." "liv it was a tiny mistake. its not tht big of adeal. elliots just making it sound like one. you know how he does that. just go home and dont think about it." olivia went home but she couldnt get her mind off the things elliot said to her. "how could he say that to me?" she whispered to herself. then a knock came to her door. olivia slowly got up and looked through the peep hole. it was elliot. "did captain send you to apologize? or are you here cause you came on your on will?" she said through the door. "open the door liv." he said tiredly. "why so yoou can blame me more and make me feel bad again? not happening." olivia walkd back to her couch and pulled her knees to her chest and began to cry. elliot sat on the other side of the door determining whether or not he shopuld use his key or just keep knocking till she answered. he decided to keep knocking nd if she didnt answer he would use his key. " liv please open the door." he begged. olivia gave no answer. elliot slipped his key in the hole and walked into her apartment. liv heard her door shut and stood up to face him. "get out elliot." she warned as tears flowed down her cheeks. "no. we need to talk." "talk or yell?" "talk. i dont want to fight." "you shoulda thought about that. now leave." "or what? you gonna call the cops? well guess what i am the cop! so no use in doing that." elliots voice started to raise and he slammed his hand down on the counter. olivia flinched at the sound. "im sorry. liv i didnt mean to scare you." elliot walked up to her closing the space between them. when elliot pulled her into a hug olivia punched and slapped at his chest to let go but he didnt. he just gripped her tighter. "let me go! i hate you! i hate you!" she screamed till her tears took over and akll she could do was cry and sob. "shhh. its ok." "no its not elliot." elliot let her go and she ran to e couch and sat down. "why?" "why what?" "dont play stupid elliot. you know what you did. unless you forgot. why did you say those things to me?why? does it make you feel good to know you hurt me?" "of course not liv! i hate it when i yell at you." "then why do you do it?" "i was just frustrated and im sorry i took it out on you." "sorrys not enough elliot. you kno that. im tired of you always yelling at me and blaming me for things that arent my fault." "what are you saying liv?" "i want a new partner. and dont call me liv." "but thats your..." "no its not my name. my name is olivia or ms. benson. elliot ive had enough of you." "liv i wont stop calling you the name i gave you. i dont care what you say. thats the name i gaver you and thats the name ill call you." "no! i dont want that name anymore! i dont want you anymore! dont you get that?" " liv, dont say that. please. i dont want to leave you." "well learn to leave me. cause thats what im doing. im learning to do. im learning to let you go. you should try it sometime. but it looks like you got it under control seeing as you walk away from me now more than you used to. so i sugest you leave now before i really lose control." "im not leaving you. this isnt like all those other times liv." "elliot," "no liv. i mean it. im staying here. and your gonna like it." olivia charged at him but he dodged her and pinned her down on the floor. trying not to crush her he he staddled her waist and held her arms down. "let me go!" she cried. "just let me go." "will you be nice? and not attac me again?" "yes! now please let me go." elliot got off her and to his surprise she didnt attack him. she simply resumed her position on the couch and cried. elliot walked to her and pulled her into his arms. he kissed her hair and told her everything would be ok.

"i need time to think. so for now, no. im sorry." later that night around 1135 elliot sent her a txt saying he was sorry and that he wanted so badly to hold her and kiss her. liv just rolled her eyes not believing what he sent to her. bensonrulz: r u kidding me? badass13:no im serious. bensonrulz: ur just trying 2 kiss my ass rnt u? badass13: no! im not i want u! but u wnt let me in!plz liv i luv u! olivia just stopped txting him right then and there. he kept asking if she was there but she never repied. she just sat there and stared at the txt that said he wanted her. she wanted him but she wouldnt feel right if she had a relationship with her partner or ex-partner. oliva called him up and left voicemail saying, 'hey its me. you should know that from your caller-id. well i wanted to call and say sorry for acussing you. it was my fault and i wanted to let you know that i want you to but i just need time to think about us first and what we will be if we do go into a relationship. if it will ruin our friendship or if it will make it stronger. well just give me time to think ok? thats all i want from you right now. well ill see you tomorrow if cragen lets me come back. bye el.' liv hung up the pphine and stared at her clock. minutes and then hours went by and oliva still hadnt fallen asleep. she just couldnt get the fact that elliot felt the same way about her out of her head. it was truly killing her that he wasnt here w/ her. but what she didnt know was that he was waitinng outside her door. he never really left. he just stayed outside her door hoping and praying noone will call her and tell her a strange guy was waiting outside her door. he wanted so bad to go in there and kiss her. he didnt care if he fought back he just wanted to kiss her. but then again she would probably sue him for sexual harassment. he didnt need that right now. so he stayed outside her door till dawns early light. never once closing his eyes to fall asleep. to olivias surprise she had gotten a total two hours of sleep. she felt over joyed. not really. she slumped over to the coffee pot and made some coffee. even though she would normally hace tea instead of coffe. she poured her a cup then turned on the tv. nothing interesting was on so she grabbed a cosmopolitan magazine and began flipping through it. finding a page about how to tell him you love him the RIGHT WAY. she dogg eared it to save the section for later and kept going through the mag. elliot went to the coffee shop down the street and grabbed cup of black coffee and headed back to olivias house. when her neighbor came out to get the paper he looked at elliot and said, "are you stalking this young lady?" he simply replied back, "no. im her partner form work." "for sex?" elliot put a shocked look on his face and said to himself, i wish. but he told the old man, "no. for work. we work together." "oh, ok. well bye-bye now." "have good day sir." elliot rolled his eyes and laughed at the fact that old people say the darndest things and can get by with it. as f someone whos young says that they get scolded for being "disrespectful".

olivia lazly walked over to her phone and dialed cargens number. "cragen." "hey its liv. am i coming to work today?" "no your on vacation and elliots suspended. if i see you any where near this office you will be on suspension. understood?" "yeah." "you get some rest and take it easy." "kay. well luv you. are you ok? you sound worn out." "yeah well i had a rough night but ill be fine." "was it elliot?" "dad its fine." "if it was elliot ill go kick his ass." olivia chuckled to herself at the thought that cragen as old and saggy as he is trying to kick big husky elliots ass. "da you wouldnt be able to swing at elliot even if you tried real hard." "hey i may be old and out of shape but i can still wupe some ass." "dad stop! your making me laugh!" "thats good. you need to lighten up any way." "you saying that im uptight?" "yes. now go get some rest. love you but i have to go bye." "bye dad. love you to." olvia hung up the phone. "i wonder what elliots doing right now." hes probably grieving about what he did last night and how you wouldnt accept his apology. said the voice in her head. "he wasnt apologizing he was kissing my ass." why cant you accept the fact someone loves you and acctually cares for you? hell he would die for you if he could. "he doesnt love me. and i do accept the fact that people love me." your lying. "how do you know?" im an angel i know quite abit. "well i know that elliot doesnt love me." can you prove it? "yeah. have you not seen the way he talks to me? the way we fight? he does not live me." girl, he fights with you cause your to stubborn to accept the truth about anything. at least he can admit that he was wrong and should apologize for what he did. "what does that mean?" you know what it means oliva. it means that your to stubborn to accept the obivious and you cant hndle the truth so you push it away instead of dealing with it. "fine your right. but i know elliot doesnt love me." i wont tell you agaiin. he loves you and you have yet to figure it out. because you cant accept the truth. after that the angels voice dissapeared and the silence was killing her. so she dialed elliots number. elliot smiled when he looked at the caller id and saw olivas number. "stabler." "you sound happy." "thats because i can hear your voice." "elliot stop. ok?just stop." "ok." "why dont you come over?" " kay. be there in a little bit." but olivia had already hung up. olivia opened her door when she heard the heavy footsteps of elliot walking down the hall. "do you just leave your door wide open for people to walk right in?" "shut up and sit down." "kay." ellit sat in the chair across form her and folded his hands in his lap. "you dont get t do you? you dont get the fact tht when you say somthing hurtful saying sorry just isnt enough?" liv, i.." no! im not done! you got your chance to talk! now its my turn! you think that saying sorry will fix everything between that hurt person and you. well news flash! it doesnt. it makes things worse. how? well it makes that hurt person feel like you said that just so you could push your problems under the rug so you could be happy. do you get what im saying elliot?" elliot shook his head yes. he really did get what she was saying. "good. im done now. you can leave or talk if you want. your choice." "i choose to talk to you." "figures." "olivia you think i push things under the rug? well look whos talking! yuo wont accept the truth even if tis right in front of you! you choose to believe that your always right and when someone proves you wrong you blame them for your mistake. so if you think about it your the same w.." elliot was cut off by the feel of olivas lips on his. she pulled away and looked into his ocean blue eyes that she always gio lost in. "i dont want to fight anymore. i just want you next to me. so lets stop talking." oliva kissed him again butt this time elliot pulled away. "liv, you cant do this. you cant jsut think that ill fall for you when we have yet to still solve our problems." "sorry." olivia tried to sit back down but elliot held onto her hands and pulled her onto his lap. "but i never said that i didnt want to kiss you." he pressed his lips to hers and slid his hands up her sides and moaned ionto her mouth.

"finish what you started el." she purred as she puled his head down to join their lips. (RATED M FOR MATURE) she undid his tie and tossed it across the room to join her shirt. elliot helped her get the buttons undone and they moved to each others pants never breaking the kiss. elliot hooked his fingers under her lace panties and slid them down her smooth tan legs that almost always semed to go on forever.
