I thought the exact same thing, and after carefully researching the topic, decided that it was worth it to make one. Also since I've never made a thread on these forums, I thought it was time to get started.

Picture the show without Gus, or even any other person to play him. It'd be absolutely atrocious (prob still be ok, but for the thread's sake). His nicknames are great and how he just takes them. In fact, my Xbox live gamertag is Lavendar Gooms.

I am pretty sure that Lavender Gooms is from Lights, Camera...Homicidio. I remember watching the commentary and Dulé stating how that is his Aunt's given name.

Sorry to be a Rabid Porcupine, but Scoony U-Turn Singleton is from Gus's Dad May Have Killed an Old Guy. Shudderfly Simmons is from "And Down the Stretch Comes Murder," but I'm actually not 100% sure. I know it's from that episode, but it actually may be a deleted scene- where Shawn runs up to the person TBW was having an affair with (yes, I'm on the abbreviation train, sorry, the AT) and says "My name is Biron Bojangles the third, this is my partner Shudderfly Simmons, and Gus makes little wing flapps with his hands. I'm pretty sure this is right, but correct me if I'm wrong.
