That would be awesome, I have an objection though. I used to love Monk and it was my favorite show. However, I'm sorry to Monk lovers, but it's really lost its thunder. I think it is very predictable and repetitive, and I feel that nearly every episode either Monk, Natalie, Monk and Natalie, are always in danger. The plots are still good, but I can't stand how they always end up in danger. Notice that every single part 2 season 3 episode of Psych, they were always in danger? Whether it was being held at gunpoint after being trapped in a boat, getting captured with Lassie by a detective, in a burning building, being held at gunpoint by a football team, running from assassins with a hospital patient and liar, trapped at a camp with a murderer, or being targeted by a serial killer, there was always danger to Shawn/Gus (I give exception to the last 2 cause they were amazing and worth it). I know this is the wrong thread to say this, but I don't want Psych to take on that part of Monk. I think that your episode idea would be awesome, and my guess is that Shawn would get kidnapped eventually. I want to see them break away from the constant danger that Monk gets into. It started like this in Monk but to me, it gets REALLY old. I really hope Psych doesn't become this. I wanna see Psych look a little more like part 2 of season 2- in terms of the no danger- just strict solving. Those are my thoughts. Sorry to Monk fans if it was mean, but I still really like Monk and watch it, but it has gotten a tad annoying with the danger. Don't become Monk, Psych.
Hey, I love the line from
Six Feet Under where Lassiter even said: "Saving your ass again, Spencer!" Shawn and Gus don't carry guns and even Shawn said in the first season in
9 Lives: "We can't rely on the police." Shawn's quick wit can only go so far. "Don't you ever stop talking!" So, yes Jules and Lassie have been saving Shawn and Gus, but it would be interesting if Shawn and Gus were the ones saving Jules and Lassie! That I would like to see!
