I was thinking about new episodes they should make and I thought it would be a cool idea if they had Shawn get captured or kidnapped and have it be all up to Juliet, Lassie, Gus, and Henry to save him. It would allow a lot of comedy as long as they had a lot of scenes with Shawn and the kidnappers. I found him very funny in every situation that he has been captured so far. (Women Seeking Dead Husband, Gus Walks Into a Bank, and Lassie Did a Bad, Bad Thing)

I also had an idea for a completly unrelated flashback where little Shawn is on vacation with his dad in Miami. Then he could see young Juliet and have him fall in love at first sight. Then his dad could drag him away and they could have someone call young Juliet in to tell the audience that it was her. I'm pretty sure that Juliet used to live in Miami since in the episode There's Something About Mira she said that's where she transferred from.

So add what you think or any other episode ideas.

That would be awesome, I have an objection though. I used to love Monk and it was my favorite show. However, I'm sorry to Monk lovers, but it's really lost its thunder. I think it is very predictable and repetitive, and I feel that nearly every episode either Monk, Natalie, Monk and Natalie, are always in danger. The plots are still good, but I can't stand how they always end up in danger. Notice that every single part 2 season 3 episode of Psych, they were always in danger? Whether it was being held at gunpoint after being trapped in a boat, getting captured with Lassie by a detective, in a burning building, being held at gunpoint by a football team, running from assassins with a hospital patient and liar, trapped at a camp with a murderer, or being targeted by a serial killer, there was always danger to Shawn/Gus (I give exception to the last 2 cause they were amazing and worth it). I know this is the wrong thread to say this, but I don't want Psych to take on that part of Monk. I think that your episode idea would be awesome, and my guess is that Shawn would get kidnapped eventually. I want to see them break away from the constant danger that Monk gets into. It started like this in Monk but to me, it gets REALLY old. I really hope Psych doesn't become this. I wanna see Psych look a little more like part 2 of season 2- in terms of the no danger- just strict solving. Those are my thoughts. Sorry to Monk fans if it was mean, but I still really like Monk and watch it, but it has gotten a tad annoying with the danger. Don't become Monk, Psych.

I noticed the same thing!! I like the intensity of it, but i'd like them to dial it down a bit. them being in trouble EVERY episode can get pretty old. although, shawn and gus can get really funny when they are in trouble!!! laugh.gif

Yea, thats a good way of putting it. Don't get rid of it completely, once in a while its good, but lets dial it down.

I like the angst..and I like the funny. Bring both throughout the season..it will be great. smile.gif I love to see actors stretch..so it's nice they have the opportunity to do both drama and comedy..keep that nice balance.

I want a "dog-show" eppy. When they showed dude at the dog show, I assumed they were researching for an eppy. But I was thinking..I would love to see "Shawn" running that "kick-butt jog from like on From Earth To Starbucks" with a dog. And since Gus is a little afraid of dogs (pilot), he would be squirming the whole time.

Or do a dancing school eppy..can you see the guys shakin' their groove thang. smile.gif Oh..yes..we have seen that before haven't we! biggrin.gif Nah..that's just silly.

Or they can do a sanitarium eppy..but Shawn would be the "sane" one out of all the crazies...and Gus can flaunt his pharmacutical knowledge. Or it could definitely be the other way around. Gus would make a good crazy patient. Would be fun.

And lastly...if Val Kilmer can show up as his character on Real Genius, that would be the capper. Plot: Laslow (top smart dude from Real Genius) is missing with a sling psychrometer and they have to find him. Gus, Shawn and Chris Knight would drive Lassie absolutely bonkers.

Anyway..that's my fanfiction fantasies.

Hahahaha brilliant smile.gif I think it would be great if Shawn was a game show host in an episode. I can see some amazing comedy coming from that lol

Hey, I love the line from Six Feet Under where Lassiter even said: "Saving your ass again, Spencer!" Shawn and Gus don't carry guns and even Shawn said in the first season in 9 Lives: "We can't rely on the police." Shawn's quick wit can only go so far. "Don't you ever stop talking!" So, yes Jules and Lassie have been saving Shawn and Gus, but it would be interesting if Shawn and Gus were the ones saving Jules and Lassie! That I would like to see!

My friends and I were talking about new episode ideas this afternoon and one of my friends suggested a film noir episode. I think it'd be great. Black and white with vintage clothes and a funny plot...

shawn, gus, jules and lassie are talking and realize they had met when they were younger

at camp cadet (you know henry would have made in go to that) one of the counslors had an allergic reaction to "mint"
and shawn knew what to do he keeps an epi pen with him because of Gus (being allergic to bees or something else)
Jules being the girls counslor had rushed over to see if she could help.

Friends of Henry's from Miami is in town and together they decide to setup the friends daughter with his son
What happens when Henry informs Shawn he has a blind date with friends daughter Julie Kennedy

Juliet parents (mom and step-father -that is why Henry is clueless about OHare) has a blind date with their friend henry son shawn-- the parent not realizing that Juliet thinks she is going out with a henryson shawn

I'm a runner and there is an event here in the Seattle area called the Pineapple Classic. The event generates money for Cancer research.
It's a 3mile run with a relay and you have to carry...yep, a pineapple...I think would be a great setting for an episode.

Here's the link to the event:

I thought of Shawn and Gus when I heard about the event.

Please consider it!!

Thanks,

PS. The forum needs a pineapple emoticon
