I can't believe we are left hanging again!!! I really hope shawn and jules get together in the premiere of season 4!!! anyone have any thoughts???

YES shawn and jules WILL get together but when is the question. i believe at the end of season 4. maybe.

Yes there is no way they could possibly do all this to Shules and then not have them get together. Anyways, I'm crossing my fingers!

I really hope they finally get together at the beginning of the season. He can't just ignore what she said to him. I mean, we all know how he feels about her.

He has been waiting so long for her to say those things to him, and he has to say no because of Abigail!! I totally understand why though, he can't just leave her after he asked her out. I think something should happen in the premier of season 4, but not too much. Shules will happen we just have to be as patient as Shawn is And apparently now as patient as Jules haa...Also, Shawn needs to quicken up a little bit though, pretty sure Jules wasn't talking about Abigail when she said "she won't wait forever"

It's the season finale!! Most t.v. shows usually leave the audience with a cliffhanger. I LOVED it. It was sweet and awesome. Juliet finally made the move. It will be gradual, that is my feeling.

Yeah I know, I hated that Shawn had to turn Jules down too, but he couldn't break his original date either. That wouldn't be very cool of him. I bet Jules can see the honor in what he did, and like others have said, I bet they get together in season 4. Besides, I think we all have "the one that got away." You gotta pursue that if given a second chance, if only to get some closure to the whole thing. Now, before this turns into a dating advice column, I'm off to rewatch the episode to see if I can spot that darn pineapple...

Unfortunately, we will never see Shawn and Jules get together because then the show will jump the shark. The sexual tension will be gone and the whole thing will just get boring. They might kiss or even get to third base but never will they get together.
If anyone is my age (30-35) remember Cheers when Sam (Ted Danson) and Diane (Shelly Long) finally got together. The show stunk. Shelly Long left and Kirsty Alley had to come in to start the whole love interest and hard to get thing up again.

I think they will date when they are ready to end Psych. Which hopefully won't be for many years!! They did such an awesome job on the season finale. Can't wait for July!

I like the way the writers a playing the whole Shawn, Jules thing. I like the pairing, but I'm not ready to see it happen yet. Give it time, we are only in season 3.

He couldn't do that to Abigail after he just asked her out. Then he wouldn't be the Shawn that we all love so much! That would not be a stand up thing to do. It makes me love him even more!!

The ending was great. They will end up together, I'm sure, and Season 4 will most likely move toward that. Their ultimate apiring would be a satisying end to the series. I do feel sorry for Abigail, though, as she is a sweet and decent person who deserves to find what we all know Shawn and Jules will. This was the most emotionally intense episode yet, I think. I was very impressed with Jimmi Simpson - his wife does a great job of playing a crazed stalker on 2.5 Men and I'm still not convinced that he was not Mr Yang's apprentice. Maybe Yang will "reappear" next season?

they can't get togaether too soon. its like james said in one of his interviews that they can't get together too early or elsse they will have to bring a baby into it!

I have to say, I wanted to cry when Shawn had to turn Juliet down, and I definitely yelled at my TV screen. After all this time of her not being interested, she's finally ready and he's on a date? He was right, bad timing.

As much as I want Abigail to go away and never come back, I know it wouldn't be right of him to ditch her again. I'm hoping that in the premiere this summer, she finally leaves. Maybe it could be like on Gilmore Girls, when Rachel left because she knew that Luke was in love with Lorelai. That way, Shawn and Juliet can be together, but Shawn won't have to be a jerk to Abigail.

All I know is that they have to get together at some point, because Juliet won't wait forever. It's just frustrating knowing that it was so close, but didn't happen last night.

i know its really annoying but if shawn and abigail arent together in the premier i will be sooo pissed at shawn because if he turned juliet down for someone that didnt even work out hat that would be awful

Not to be Debby Downer... but since I'm not a Shules fan, I'll put up my opinion, since minority needs representation...

I think Abigail is *much* better suited to Shawn's personality than Jules. I mean, Abigail says, "I like that, I like that *very* much." How much more perfect can she be? She *gets* Shawn and his sense of humor. Jules seems to waver between not understanding Shawn at all to thinking she needs to get to know him better by dating, rather than just by being friends.

Because I feel it is inevitable that they'll do the Shules thing eventually... I just don't think the characters are really suited to each other. I think they'd date, and really try to make it work, but realize they really don't make a good couple. Jules just doesn't get Shawn, and I don't think she ever will.

When I heard Juliet say that "she won't wait forever," I was like, this is ridiculous give me a break, because I knew then that in future seasons, she's going to find some other guy, and then when Shawn is going to be ready, he will be too late and Juliet is going to reject him again. It's like an endless cycle that is making me sad.

But, I'm more curious on what Mr. Yang meant when she said that Shawn and her will be working together again. This is must be the big secret. Now I'm wondering.

I said no, but not 'couse I want an happy shules thing (I think it will be an happy ending of the serie) but becouse I've hatet Abdigail since the first time she appear...

I've been watching CSI Miami for a few years, and from what I've seen, they've allowed the characters of Calleigh and Eric to flirt and pine and gaze longingly at each other for SEVEN YEARS before anything substantial has happened. At least Shawn and Jules are owning up to their feelings after only 3 seasons. That's pretty good for a TV almost-couple (who don't already have a past together)!

Don't worry, these two will end up together. Psych is far too upbeat to let this end unhappily. It just may take a few more seasons to get them together "for reals".

i think partially, the reason that this is all happening pretty quickly, might have to do with james and maggie in real life. i mean, hey i dont know this for sure, but it could be. since they are dating, pretty seriously, (im assuming since its been like 3 years.) so that may have pushed the writers into making it actually happen, since they can see what the possibilities are. but who knows.

I totally agree with everything you just said. Shawn did the right thing not leaving Abigail again. And he couldnt have left her and gone with Jules because then we wouldnt have a cliffhanger. I'm pretty happy with the way it happened. If they had rushed things with Shawn and Jules then it wouldn't be interesting. But I agree that they will probably get together the end of season 4.

I was glad to see him turn her down for that reason as well as others. It's unfair of her (or anyone) to think he should be that willing to just go and open himself up to her now. He had just told Jules a little earlier in the episode (in reference to Mr. Yang, but I think it still holds true) that's he's "nobody's puppet," and I was glad to see him stand behind that. We all saw his reaction when she kissed him, but I'm glad he didn't cave.

I SO think Shawn & Abigail are MADE for each other! I think Shawn should wake up to his soul mate and forget the lust!

some of the comments made, that I have read, I find interesting, interesting in the fact that they are kind of ridiculous. many of you said the "show would be over if Shawn and Juliet got togther" and I ask how so? The tit for tat between them is not what this show is about at all. and the fact that some of you say that you will stop watching if they do or that it would ruin the show makes no sense. i guess if the only reason you are watching the show is for that sub-plot line then yep I think you would be screwed and unhappy no matter what is done. for me it does not matter either way I just like to watch the show and see what Shawn and Gus and are up too.

MY personal opinion of what steve is gona write is that they will get together and then they will not be able to focus and be all love-y dove-y and not be able to work on the case and have to not see each other so they can do ther job.

that isnt what i WANT to happen, i WANT them to live happily ever after and still be able to take on cases so PSYCH can go on

i think that we have to keep in mind that once Shules actually happens, there are SO MANY possibilities to keep things interesting. here are just a few that i could definitely see happen:

1. they could decide to keep things a secret
-------this leads to us wondering who is going to find out. will shawn tell gus? will juliet tell lassiter? will anyone tell henry? haha.

2. Chief Vick could say no
------the chief could tell juliet that its not allowed. you know, that whole inter office relationship thing. this could lead to juliet having to make a big decision (shawn or work?), or maybe could lead to them deciding to keep things a secret in which the above would apply.

3. Shawn revealing that he's not psychic.
------will he tell jules before? after? will she be upset when she finds out? this is certainly a big one, and will probably be the first issue addressed by the writers once they do get together.

4. Jealousy...
------sure, maybe someone will get jealous of someone else... blah blah..... predictable. but im thinking more along the lines of Gus feeling left out. or lassiter even.


my point is here, that i know many people feel like once shawn and juliet finally get together, the show will suck because itll kill it. I'm just pointing out that there are many more opportunities for conflict (and thats essentially what every show needs, a conflict in relationships to keep things interesting.)

Shawn was on a date with Abigail. He was not dating Abigail. He didn’t choose Abigail over Jules. He chose to do the honorable thing and not abandon Abigail to go with Jules. All avenues are still open.

My guess is that they will get together in the final season whenever that may be (hopefully NOT soon) But Shawn and Juliet have this mutual attraction that creates a sort of tension and this constant guessing when will they get together. When they do get together I think it would almost ruin it I mean it might be kind of boring when they start dating without that tension and awkwardness. They should Start dating in the season premiere of the final season and they should get married on the series finale.

I agree with the getting married part but I hope they will get together earlier than the final season!!
