I have a question about the little Scottie, stopping to pee. I always was of the opinion that would probably disqualify a dog. Are there any rules about that?

No, not in the conformation ring

I felt so sorry for her and her handler. She was probably very excited with the noise of the crowd and the spotlights. I've never been to a dog show, but I sure love to watch Westminster.

And the problem with Westminster is location - there is almost no grass anywhere nearby and there is a long walk from the "potty" area to the ring and she was probably waiting for quite some time before being able to enter the ring. BTW, the "mistake" happens a lot more often that you would think and while not often on national tv, it is something that dogs do and therefore just a part of the game.
