I noticed that 7 of the 35 entries of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels were marked absent from the Breed entries. Why does that happen? This was almost 20% of the entries, and one that I know of us was in the top 5 invited group. Any ideas?

Well, it could be any number of reasons including - health of handler, flat tire on travel van\vehicle issues, health of dog, change in priorities for that dog, are just a few to think about. Some people consider it an honor to have their name listed in the catalog and that could be the case with these dogs. Or the handler had a ring conflict and just could not make it to the ring in time to show to the judge. Most of the handlers have multiple dogs to handle at this show...
