i'm in winfield, an hour se of wichita, i got cox cable on the phone a few minutes before 9:00 and they said it was 'network' problem and that they couldn't do anything about it ---- i'm so furious i can barely type, i pay how much for my f------ cable and this happens!!! i can't express how angry i am right now!!!! i don't have words for it ---------- it's all i can do to type nicely without every other word being a cuss word......and i feel like i am spewing forth terrible stuff, but how could they let this happen, and i swear, i so better not hear any kind of a f------ rumor that it's because of some bible belt censorship nonsense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved your diatribe! (it's funny because of the witty way you worded this, not the situation itself - that wasn't funny and I'm glad things have been resolved and apparently the USA Network is back on the air in Kansas)

thanks for the sympathy!! yeah it wasn't very pretty at my place last night!! but, while waiting for the 12:00 p.m. showing i popped onto/into the chat room. i was kind of surprised....it was already pretty late, so i think the bn fans had already hit the sack (i know normally i would've already been in bed!). so, i kind of looked around at the other sites, so not pleasant....the text on some of those were just awful....i only actually typed on ours, it was the only one i felt 'safe' on. i will definitely do the thing tonight.....i was so upset and frustrated last night i was more about venting and spewing than looking at what everyone else was saying.....and thanks for the comment on how i word things....i started worrying that i'd used the uh, f word so much that i might get in trouble. but it's in the past, usa got themselves together and got back on the air. but you know tonight is a Monk night so what's the secret to finding 'nice' chat rooms?? so i'll definitely pop on tonight. while i'm at work today i'm going to read the posts that were done yesterday and try to get caught up on everything got to go to lunch now!! be back in a bit....

You know...this will probably sound hard to believe, but this is actually the only message board I've ever posted to and the only group I've ever chatted with. I do realize things can get harried at the BN chats on account of "crashers" and spammers. Generally things get back on track in due time, however.

Barring any flaky internet/modem connection problems, I will be at tonight's chat. I'll head over there a little before 10 pm my time (9 pm central) and what I'll do is log onto the forum as well so if you run into any difficulties you can just drop me a line over here and I'll do what I can to help from my neck of the cyberwoods.

I'm glad you were able to watch the entire show and that all is well again with the USA Network in Kansas! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on last night's episode.
