I think that there should be a woman, with a recurring role to be Gus' girlfriend or at least a woman that Gus likes. Shawn can't have all the fun. After all, Gus is the other half of Psych.

i agree. Shawn has gone out with plenty of women and the only woman that i can think of who went out with Gus is Mira!

well there was Jessica in "From the Earth to the Starbucks," and the two of them obviously had great chemistry because she was played by Dulé's wife. It'd be great if Jess could come back and Gus would get the chance to prove he actually is a good guy, despite the whole "we suspected you of murder" thing.

There was also Raylene in "Woman Seeking Dead Husband: Smokers Okay", though she did end up being the bad guy...

Despite the Shules leanings on the show, I'm still a firm believer that Gus and Juliet actually make a very cute couple--they both like comics, they both find Shawn more amusing than annoying most of the time, they both have a love for sea animals... Yeah, it's never gonna happen, but I still see the possibilities there.

But, overall, I do agree that at some point there needs to be one of these girls that both guys are trying for that ends up going for Gus. It may even throw Shwan a little off his game, since he's so used to the girl liking him better. It's also a plus if the interest for Gus doesn't end up being guilty or even suspected of the crime.

Shawn should be with Gus' sister, Joy. I think they would make a cute couple.

I think that Gus is funny. He's a little fighter. He's forever wanting to beat up Shawn and when Lassie was talking to his sister, LOL, Gus wanted to rough him up. Okay, get beat down, but still, fight!
