Full Version: Upside Down Ribbons

Greetings from the newest member here -

Perhaps some of you long time members can answer this for me -

In the opening for season 9 and at least the beginning of season 10 there is a shot of Harm and Bud in dress whites with Harm's ribbons being worn upside down. With their attention to detail in this great series, I find it hard that this would have slipped through as a mistake.

here's my question - Is this just a mistake or was there some reason for it in the episode that shot came from?
Also, does anyone know what episode that came from?

Thanks.

Perhaps things can seem a bit upside-down when "Down Under" in Oz.
Boomerang (1): beside Sydney Harbour, Harm and Bud are bemused by Clayton, incognito, with exotic women.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm amazed that mistake not only got through tech checkers but was on every week.

WOW!!!

Thanks again ed_AG!!! Finally got a chance to check out your links. The first one is awesome. I didn't realize there were people who enjoyed the show details as much as I do - so cool!

That was a neat link that had all the characters' ribbons.

As an addition to the info supplied, I'd like to add -

Under "Recurring Characters" - Col Cobb - the unknown ribbon (in my opinion) is the "Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal" and is in the wrong order. It should be swapped with the "National Defense Service Medal".
