plot: elliot and olivia have 2 years left to be partners before they retire. In this story you will see if elliot and olivia can trust each other and see if they have each other backs when they been partners and best friends for 20 years.



chapter 1:" should i trust you or not elliot"


(elliot and olivia are siting in cragen office talking)

cragen: I am worried about you and olivia being partners.

olivia: Why are you worried about us?

cragen: I am worried about you and elliot because for the past two weeks you have been fussing with each other.

olivia: Elliot what you think about all of this?

elliot: I think that we should take a break from being partners for a while.

Olivia: Why are you saying this now elliot?

Elliot: I rather lose you as a partner then my best friend olivia.

cragen: Is this you final decision elliot?

elliot: I believe it is my final decision.

olivia: I agree what elliot is saying, but at the same time we can work things out in our friendship.

elliot: We have been seperated from partners twice, and we have fussed numerous times olivia.

olivia: what is that suppose to mean ell?

elliot: Meaning I just dont want to lose you now becuase I really need to be there for me.

cragen: Olivia you will not be his partner until you and elliot go see a counselor for a couple of sections.

olivia: I can agree with that for a minute.

Chapter 2~ Doctor

It was a very awkward drive to this doctor, Lynn Johnson, Cragen had recommended for us. How can he think we need therapy? We have got along just fine for the last few years. Then Elliot interrupted my thoughts

"Liv," Elliot touched my arm "You okay?"

"Just fine El, why do you want to know?" I snapped at him

"You don't seem fine, really what's going on?"

"Why are you so damn persistent?" I continued to bitch at him "I say I'm okay and I mean it"

"Fine" He concluded

The rest of the car ride was more awkward than before, but I snuck a look at Elliot a couple times, he was smiling. God his smile makes my heart melt!

"How's Kathy, the kids?" I tried to make small talk "I heard Kathleen is expecting."

"Yeah, I'm gonna be a grandfather, Kathy is scared"

"Why, Kathleen has a great husband, sisters, a wonderful brother, and parents."

"Yeah but remember that mess she got in back in college?" He said as a look of pain was painted on his face as remembered the catastrophe.

"Yeah, when she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder?" I whispered knowing how much this hurt him hurt me.

"Kathy thinks she is going to screw up the baby, I don't know Liv, I just don't know her"

"Oh we're here." I pointed out, I couldn't handle that conversation.

He pulled into the nearest parking place and I called the elevator, pressed the 3 floor button and prayed for a miracle.

dr. lewis: Hi my name is dr. Gina Lewis. We will begin.

olivia: How long will we be here?

dr.leiws: We will been here for 2 hours. Who want to start?

Elliot: I will go. I ask to have this chat with you because I am worried about olivia.

Olivia: Why are you worried about me. I mean I am fine.

Elliot: I dont think you are ok.

Dr. Lewis: What do you think is wrong with her?

Olivia: Yes because I want to know.

Elliot:I think you are pregant.

Olivia: I dont know what you are talking about.

elliot: I cant take these mood swings Olivia.

olivia: I dont know.

Elliot: Are you having a baby and who is it by?

olivia: Yes, I am pregant. The father I will not tell yet.

Dr. Lewis: This should be an Interesting chat.

Elliot and olivia: I agree with that chat.

Chapter 3~ The Chat

I could see Elliot talk, but I couldn't hear him. He was so close but far away. His words were replaying in my mind "I think you are pregnant" All I want to know is how did he know?

"Olivia you have anything to say?" Dr. Lewis softly stated.

"How did you know?" I whispered "How did you find out?"

"Liv, I have five children" He snorted "I think I know how pregnant women act."

I don't believe you "Oh" I sighed.

"I think that you all, being such good friends, can have an open chat for the remanding time. I'll be here as a mediator." Gina recommended "Elliot, how about you go first"

"Why did you cut me off in the car?" He inquired "You always let me talk unless its about Kathy

"Can we talk about something else?" I begged

"Ok who is the father of your child, because you haven't seen anyone in the last 3 months"

"Please something else, anything else!"

"No! Olivia, I care about you, you are the most important thing in my life right now and I-" He bit his lip.

I cocked my eyebrow "What?"


"Just please tell me that damn guard at Sealview didn't do that"

Chapter~ 5 Confrontation

"Well I'm glad we had this talk and I would like to remind you that this conversation will not leave the confines of this room unless you both consent." Gina interrupted thinking we might have forgotten about her. "We will see each other next week this time?"

"Yes ma'am." Elliot said as he took my hand. I felt like I was going to explode.

By the time we got to the car he still had my hand but he was pulling me.

"Elliot, I'm not five. I can walk by my self." He cocked his eyebrow "I'm a big girl, cross my heart."

"Liv, I'm just worried. You need to tell Cragen, you need to be on desk duty, you need" His mouth wasn't going as fast as his thoughts were "Wait, don't do this." He stopped in his tracks "I know you want a kid, but don't do this"

"Elliot! You of all people would be the one to tell me NOT to have an abortion."

"Not an abortion, just give it up for adoption, raising your rapists child? I know you don't want me to bring this up but, what if its another generation of Benson?"

"Are you saying that I will become my mother? I loved her to death despite the hell she put me through!"

"Liv, that's not what I meant!"

"What ever Elliot, just take me back to the precinct, I'll take a cab home."

"Let me take you."

"And Brittany Leigh passes to Sharrie!"

olivia: fine you can take me.

elliot: I know you will be a great mom liv.

olivia: I know. I just dont want you to mention my mom again.

Elliot: Iwont. I know you are not her.

(as they get in the car they see the seaview guard siting at a restaurant.)

olivia: I dont beleive this.

elliot: What do you see?

olivia: I see the seasview guard.

elliot: I am going to have a little chat with him.

olivia: Lets go talk to him.

Chapter~ 6 The Perp

Elliot parked the car and we got out all of a sudden I felt a mixture of emotions shower over me, fear and hate were the ones that I embraced. Fear could go to hell for all I care. When he saw us walking over to him he got a smug look on his face that made me want to puke.

"El, wait" I stopped him before we approached him

"What? You said you wanted to tell him and we are."

"Can't we just arrest him then have you and fin or john interrogate him?"

"Liv, if we do that he will ask for a lawyer then we will never be able to tell him that you are pregnant with his child."

I felt like I wanted to cry.

"Well, lets sit down tell him about his child and then arrest him. We can get Warner to do that DNA thing that she did with that one case a while back and, and" I started to breath hard.

"Liv, calm down, do you want to go sit in the car and have me talk to him or do you want to 'confront your attacker'?"

OLIVIA:I will go confront him alone, and then I will tell you to come over.

Elliot: Ok. I will be waiting by the car.

(olivia walks over to the table and sits down to talk to the seaview guad)

olivia: Hey. Do you remember me?

Seaview guard: I do remember you olivia. I am sorry for what I did to you.

Olivia: Wow. I was not expecting for you to say that.

seasview guard: Well things change.

Olivia: I know that and I have something to tell you.

seasview guard: I am listening.

Olivia: I am pregant with your child.

Seaview guard: I was hoping you would say that. I am willing to take care of the baby with you.

olivia: I am Glad we are on the same page. I will talk to you soon.

seaview guard: I will be waiting.

(olivia walks back over to elliot and start talking to him)

Wow i wasn't expecting it to go that smoothly wait is there going to be one of those twist things.

Chapter~ 8 Baby Girl, yeah, yeah *lol*

"That was fast" Elliot stated when I came back

"Yeah I know, can you take me back to the precinct?"

"Oh, okay." He sounded disappointed.

I got in the car and I fastened my seat belt as he started the car. 5 blocks to go, 4, 3,

"Liv, what did he say?"

"What?"

"What did he say to you?"

"Nothing" He pulled over into a parking garage. "Elliot! Why are you so damn annoying?"

"I'm not Liv, I just care."

"Well" I sighed " he said he was sorry for what he did to me, and when I told him I was carrying his child he said he hoped I said that and he wants to take care of it with me and we will talk later." I let out a deep breath "I don't know El, I have been afraid of that man for the past two months and now he is back in my life, is this good or bad?"

"Liv, what did he mean by take care of this child with you? Marriage?"

"I don't know, why did you assume marriage? I don't want to marry him."

"Good"

"I wanted to confront him not become engaged to him!" My blood was pulsing "Why do you care so much?"

"Well, Liv…"

elliot: I care so much because I love you a lot.

olivia: I know and I am very sorry.

elliot: I know you is, and I will help you too with the baby.

Olivia: What are you going to put a ring on my figure?

elliot: Well maybe because you never know what happens.

olivia: I know and I cant wait to see what happens

elliot: me too.

Chapter~ 10 Paper Gangsta (lady gaga song check it out)

“Okay well we need to tell Cragen,” I mused aloud. “And”

“Slow down” Elliot pulled me closer to him and wrapped his arm around my waste. “We need to make a date.” He winked.

“When and where?” We both laughed and headed up to the squad room. He let go in the elevator and when we got out I went into Cragen’s office.

“Hey, how was the doc’s?”

“Great, Gina Lewis is amazing.”

“That’s good, John is ready to trade places with you, when you’re ready.” His face never left the file on his desk

“Thanks I’ll do it now.”

I walked out of his office and stopped in my tracks

“Oh!” I said turning around and closing his door

“What” He looked up “What’s wrong?”

I sat down and the smile left my face “When I went to Sealview, I was raped, and now I am pregnant with that guard child”

“Liv,” He came over to me and gave me a hug. These were the times I knew he felt like I was his daughter “…”

cragen: I am glad he said he will help you take care of the baby.

olivia:I was shocked when he said it.

cragen: We will be here for you no matter what happens

Olivia: I thank everyone so much.

Cragen: How do elliot feel about all of this?

olivia:He has been very supportive and said he has a gift for me.

cragen:do you know what it is?

olivia:I have no clue.

cragen:Well lets just hope it is a good one.

I laughed "Me too! Well like I said, I should go and trade places with John, thanks for being so supportive, i really do appreciate it."
"You're welcome, my door is open anytime if you need it." I gave him a hug "But at the 3 month mark you are on desk duty, and now you are not allowed to go to any situations where you might harm you or your child."
I interrupted him, "I understand."
"So how far along are you?"
"Two months next week."
"You have one month." He stated, as If I didn't know that.
I left and went over to John, "Can we change desks now?" he agreed and I started taking my photos off my desk as he did the same. I saw the picture of my mom I had and I literally gagged, all of a sudden I dropped my pictures and ran into the ladies room. I heard John and Fin yell after me,and I saw Elliot as I was running.
*Squad Room, El's POV*
"What's wrong with Liv?" I asked with more concern then the situation should've allowed.
"We were changing desks then she got sick or something" John stated.
I saw something on the floor and I picked it up, it was a picture of her mother
"Damn it!"
"What?" John and Fin said in unison.
I walked off, I didn't care if she was in the ladies room or not, it's not like anyone goes in there or she hasn't gone into the men's room to brief Cragen.
"Liv!" I called, I could here her barf.
"Get out of here El, this is the ladies room!"
"Liv you know thats crap and I don't care, come out now!"
She came out and went over to the sink to wash her mouth out. I dragged the trash can in front of the door.
"What happened?"
"Nothing, just go, please?"
"Liv, I saw the picture, what happened?"
"Nothing! You are so stubborn! Just leave!"
"I know you are as stubborn as I am, you won't talk and I won't leave."
"El," She laughed "You know thats true" she kept on laughing "but I will talk if you listen and don't interrupt and don't object"
"Okay! As long as you talk and don't make your crazy lists!"
"When I saw that picture of my mother I remembered the attack, and I remembered my childhood and I don't know! What if I'm not going to be a good mother?"
"Liv, don't say that about yourself. If you don't want that guard to help you raise that baby then don't! You have me, I said I wanted you to be my wife."

"Are you saying we are engaged?"
She laughed "Yes!"

Sharrie school comes first and I'm glad you take school B4 this. and for a personal note my signature is wrong Dominique passed away today in 2nd hour (which is like some time between 10:15-11:20) he was on life support since saturday he died from an aneurysm. **RIP**
I laughed because in the grand scheme of things I would remember kissing Elliot with my mouth tasting like vomit. I pulled the trash can away from the door and went back to my desk to inspect the mess I had made with that little scene.
"Hey, Liv, are you okay?" John said very worried.
"I'm okay! I am actually amazing!" I had a huge smile pasted across my face, I was going to have a baby, I was getting married, I was finally truly happy for the first time in my life! I pulled John into a big hug and he hugged me back "You are my favorite munch in this room, John!" I could hear fin laughing and I started to laugh too. "Do you want a hug too?" And with that I hugged him too.
"Oh my god!" I said blankly
"Liv! What's wrong?" Everyone said with a tone of emergency in their voices.I suddenly remembered that I had an ultra sound appointment today at 1, I looked at my watch, it was already 12:00. I ran into Cragen's office to tell him which of course he allowed me to go, I asked him if Elliot could come too and he said of course.**Car**
"So Liv, since we are getting, um, married" Elliot said while rubbing the back of his neck. "Do you want to, um, you know, um, move in?"
"Wow stabler you don't waste time do you?" I joked
"What!?!?" He exclaimed obliviously not getting the joke.
"I was just kidding! Well yeah, that is what married couples tend to do, live together."
We pulled into the hospital's parking lot and went in for my appointment

"Benson" the nurse called
I got up with elliot and when back for my ultrasound, the nurse went through normal procedure, how was the baby doing in my thoughts, was I having morning sickness and all of that. Then the doctor came in.
"Okay Olivia, I see you brought some one this time, just lay down and relax this gel might be a little warm."
He squirted the gel on me and rubbed it in with the transducer as an image appeared on the screen.
"Oh my god" My jaw dropped
"Yeah, there's not much to see because it's only been about three months but there it is."
"Is there anyway to tell its gender yet?" I begged
"Oh no, next time you should be able to see if its a little boy or girl. Uh, are you the husband?"
"No. But I've been to my fair share of ultrasounds."
"Okay, well here you go clean your self up and we'll make an appointment" He said as he handed a wet cloth.
"Oh my god, did you see that? It was beautiful!"
"Yeah, it was" Elliot replied.
We made the appointment and left, but then Elliot did something I would have never expected him to do. I put a cloth over my eyes and told me not to look as he drove, it took about ten minuets to get there. I he led me into a cold building and into a huge opening.
"Open your eyes." He said as he took the cloth off
"Oh my god, Elliot" I was about to cry "You don't have to"
I looked around and there were monkeys and yellow bedding and different unisex schemes everywhere.
"Liv, I know you want to get this over with, I know you, you always hate waiting."
"I know!" I went over to him and kissed him.
"Olivia?" A familiar voice said and I could feel elliot stiffen

"Ha, um okay. Lets go to, hmm. Starbucks! Yeah, just get some coffee"
"Well, olivia, coffee is bad for the baby when they are in the womb." William said, what was he trying to do, kill me?
"Okay, we can still go but Liv, you can get a hot chocolate or something." Elliot suggested, damn he was good.
We all walked to the parking garage and picked up the ford and drove to starbucks.
When we got out Elliot helped my out of the back seat and brought me closer to him in an one arm hug around the waste. Ha this will make Will jealous, good.
I heard the bell ding "Hi, welcome to starbucks, one moment please." the woman at the counter said as soon as we walked in, mmh I could smell the freshly brewed coffee, then I got a text.
Don't worry Coffee won't hurt the baby, I'll get you a cup. -El
"Why don't you and William find us a table while I get us our drinks Liv, I know hot chocolate William, what about you?" Smooth I thought
"Just a tall coffee will be fine with creme. Thanks."
We walked off and Elliot winked at me I couldn't help but to laugh aloud.
"What?" Will said, very protectively
"Oh. Nothing." Keeping him out of the loop would be best.
We found a table in the back and Will sat across from me
"Are you talking prenatal vitamins?"
"Yes, I am" I said with a hint of a annoyance in my voice.
"Well sorry if I want our baby to come out right and not screwed up! Like," He cut off
"Like who Will? Were you going to say me? Just because you only know my BACKGROUND doesn't mean you know how I turned out."
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"I know all you know about me is that I'm the sex crimes cop that decided to work my job because of what some damn bastard did to my mother and how she drank all the damn time, but do you want to know something? She didn't start to drink when she was pregnant with me!"
"Olivia." He tried to stop my rant, I could feel tears almost spill over my eyes, thinking of my mother, she was the best despite her problems.
"Olivia?" I heard Elliot call but I didn't care, I had to finish this

I came around the table and forced him up "William Harris you are under arrest for the rape of Olivia Benson. You have the right to remain silent, everything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have a right to an attorney, If you can't not afford one will be appointed for you. Do you understand these rights as I have read them to you?" haha i didn't have to look that up I knew it!
"Liv? What are you doing?"
"El, what he did to me was illegal and the only reason I didn't arrest him was because he was going to help me, but El."
