Ok, I have come to the conclusion that either the programming manager was off or insane on the day they established the programming schedule for today. Who in their right mind would play Elf over and over for 24 hours??? Heck, your advertisers should get a refund since no one would sit thru 2 hours of Elf, let alone 24 hours.... Heck, its not even a movie your kids would watch over and over. And Christmas is OVER!!! Seriously, Elf is one of those movies you only watch if you was on a plane, your ipod had ran out of power, you had read all the magazines (including SkyMall 5x), you completed reading your book, and there was still 5 hours left on your trip.

Lets hope there isn't much more of this in the future....Otherwise USA Network is getting removed from my favorites list.

I must concur. Elf? Lord, like it wasn't already on about 10 times in the past month as it was.

Why not show a marathon of Criminal Intent, or In Plain Sight or some other series? I have a number of movies that I love and can watch over and over but for 24 hours? That's not a way to keep viewers. For the other marathons, I watched most of House and NCIS, and have watched most of Monk as well.

I didn't mind the Elf marathon at all. Cute idea and given the success of TNT/TBS Christmas Story marathon that runs every year, it seemed to work. True, that Christmas was over when they decided to run it, but they probably knew that their ratings would plummet if they tried to compete against "Christmas Story" which IMO is a far better movie, but still Elf does have it's moments. Most importantly it's the only way I can stand to look at Will Farrell. Who knew?
