It's all about the money for them, so one must fight money with money. The only way they'll feel it is if people stop watching their shows, and that means all of their shows. Why should they care to put The 4400 back on, if y'all will watch what they have on their network anyway? I've not watched anything on the USA network since The 4400 got canceled, even thing I might have liked. But my one little TV not being tuned to them means nothing; however, I understand a petition of over 26 thousands names was given to the network asking to continue the show, and it was refused. If 26 thousand households would no longer tune into their network, then they'll feel the "ouch". However, at this point, I wouldn't even want them to continue the show. I'd much prefer if the Sci Fi channel or some other network would take it over. Hey, Capital Records rejected the Beatles, and look what that got them! ... but it's all up to the public (that would be me and you) to make it happen.

Haven't tuned into USA for months and I won't unless it's to watch season five of The 4400.

Hey Amerirish! I'm with you on that one. No true 4400 fan would watch the USA Network after what they pulled on us. I go away, come back after 6 months, and everyone is gone. Were's Alex, I miss Alex. : ) At least I could count on him to correct all my little issues on detail that I would overlook. Did I miss any "movements"?

No movements here, but from what I understand there was a DVD campaign over at
http://savethe4400.blogspot.com/. I think USA picked a really lousy time to drop their most original show. With the economy the way it is, some companies are finally starting to get nailed in their pocketbooks because of their lack of concern for their customers. If the same applies to TV channels and their viewers, USA could be in a world of trouble if they don't shape up.

Hey Nonoitall, No movement of any kind?! Bummer! I did hear about the DVD campaign some time back but got busy with other things and couldn't get involved. You are right about the timing on this shows cancellation. It no doubt hurt their revenue, cutting a show like this. But then again they might have been losing a lot of money putting this program on TV. Maybe they knew something long before all of us, concerning the economy. I bet all the executives at the USA network were setting around trying to figure out ways to get some "bailout money" from the government. Ha! This newtork will go out of business if they don't get there act together. They're pinning their hopes on a handfull of cheap reality shows. If they don't work, and my guess is they will only last a short while, the network will go down the tub. If you ever see the reruns of The 4400 come back on this network, then you will know the end is near.
