Full Version: Molly's Evolution

Hi, everyone! Let me know what YOU think but I'd like to know more about how Molly went from the shy, artsy, funky, natural sort of chunky & homely girl to the sleek, super mom sophisticate we see now. Especially after the little snippet when she confronts "Alise"...

Also - was Kenny different then? More the indie film type and less the slick Holywood player, perhaps? There were lots of hints that indicate the writers must have developed some idea of how these characters progressed through the past 10 years and I'd love to see flashbacks about how their marriage evolved.

BTW, I love the new Kenny - he seems like a better fit and the new version of his character is more layered and complex. That whole business with Shoshana, viagra, etc was so cliche. Plus he's a lot more attractive and that makes him more compelling (to me anyway ;-). I could actually root for them to get back together based on some of the insights we get as he "wises up" in the last few episodes.

So who's for more "history" (flashbacks?) that might deepen and illuminate characters' current motives and inclinations in the upcoming season?

Can't wait to see what the next season opener brings!!!!

I totally agree with everything you said... The story line and characters' lives intrigue me so much. I can't wait for more... I am also rooting for Kenny and Molly to reunite... they seem so good together sometimes.

I have to say that this show/series shows how much a characrter can change through everything that she has gone through, and how she has had to downsize everything in her live. It also shows how she looks at possible relationships that she dose have, did have, or could have because she looks at what she has done in her marriage and her past relationships.
