I watched the miniseries when it first came on TV... DVRed it and all! I LOVED IT!!! But television has a BAAAAAD habit of ruining a good thing, ya know? They don't know when to leave well enough alone...
So when I heard they were going to make Starter Wife a full out television series, I was disappointed... Another good thing down the tubes... Disappointed, yes. Surprised, not at all, given television's reputation of aforesaid BAAAAAD habit.
I couldn't understand how they could turn something like this into an ongoing series. I mean... How many times can one woman be a "starter wife" or have one bad relationship after another before you finally say "Ok. This just isn't working anymore"??? Right? I even went on some blog (don't remember which) and begged them not to do it... Please don't trash something that was already just fine.
Well... They did it. Obviously.
I can NOT believe how much I enjoy it!!!! I DVR every episode. I am completely entertained. I don't understand it! What has happened to me? Have my tastes waned, or is this really good???? LOL.
I have to admit... I was wrong. SO FAR, this IS good. I just hope it stays that way.
I hope the writers are careful not to turn it into just another "soap opera". (ooops. My bad... Not called that anymore. DAYTIME DRAMA! LOL)

I agree! I had read the book and watched the mini-series before I heard about the full series coming, and I was a little afraid it wouldn't work out. But I love it! It's incredibly entertaining.

i have watched it from the beginning and i was hoping it was a series, debra is a beautiful and talented actress. i don't think anyone else could of played molly better.
