According to Orton's WWE bio about the "secrets of his tattoos"

"One of Orton’s tattoos emerged from circumstance. It evolved from a simple group of letters into something much more elaborate. “I had a tattoo on my left arm that read ‘USMC’ for United States Marine Corps. When I got my bad conduct discharge and got sent home I got rid of the tattoo by getting it covered up,” he said. “It was covered up once in San Diego while I was still in the Marines and they did an awful job so I had to go to another guy – the guy who eventually did work on my shoulder – and have him fix it for me.”

Orton's bio on WWE

"When I got my bad conduct discharge"? What kind of man gets a bcd from the military? Pretty much scum.

What kind of example is he for WWE fans. If the bio is true, he is a disgrace to his country, to the Marines, and the WWE. How can his fellow wrestlers tolerate him?

If the WWE and Orton think he is their no. 1 attraction, both are beneath contempt.

he spent 38 days in a Military Prison. He went AWOL twice. He was obviously young and stupid and has been in WWE too. But now he's married, has a new kid, hopefully he's settling down. WWE just offered him a 10 year deal, so they are committed to him.

Do you honestly think Orton is the only SuperStar with a bad conduct discharge from any US Military? Everyone deserves a second chance, Orton found his. Let him live it to the fullest. Obviously it wasn't something to serious or he would still be in the brig or in a prison somewhere else. There is my 2 cents.

I'm not crazy about Randy myself, although thank the Gods he seems to look like his mom not his dad. But I also agree that everyone deserves a second chance. Orton is making the most of his and things he did when he was younger and did not know what he knows now should not be held against him. If we held everyone's past mistakes against them we'd never get anywhere in this world.

Is Orton a "bad guy" or a "good guy" in the WWE these days? Seeing comments against any wrestler that is not John Cena is quite silly. All people see is the image that the WWE gives to these wrestlers. If people found out that one of the "good guy" wrestlers had a Dishonorable, Would you look at him the same way? Of course, you would not because the WWE shows those guys in a different light than the bad guys. They are all entertainers and if they can do the job, then they keep their job...that is the point. The WWE has killed itself because of the staleness of its product and to find ANYONE who can keep fans is a thing they have to fight to keep.

to me the anti-hero's were the show, like stone cold and sting. Sit those out and it goes back to just soap opera. Now there was one exception.... The original run of Degeneration X. That was some funny stuff. I was entertained by the orig lineup of DX. I still have the DX intro song on my computer. Hell back then I had 2 TV's setup in the living room so I could watch WCW and WWF/E at the same time. Orton is a coatail rider to me as far as the show goes, meaning he is still riding stone cold's coatails. They should make all the new guys watch the old NWA broadcasts on tape for about 6 months over and over so they can learn the POP and Push and charisma. Maybe I am just nostalgic.
