Hey all, just read an article online that Monk will have one more season, its eighth and final season.

Now, I don't like Monk nearly as much as I do Psych, but I still enjoy and watch it. I am somewhat happy they're ending it when it is still good, rather than letting it dwindle into nothingness, and I would be *very* happy to see Psych go for eight seasons (or more), as long as it is still fresh, new, and hilarious.

*sniff* the last season of monk I like Psych more but Monk is the show that brings my faimliy toghether on fridays it will be sad to see it go

monk is 2 good 2 end, yet i knew it had 2
psych is good, but i will forever be loyal to monk

just as long as there is a show with adding episodes that has an OCD charecter, im good (big bang theory)

WHAT!?!?!?!?! It can't be ending!!!! I'm going to miss Monk soooo much!!!! My friday nights will never be the same!!!! They have always consisted of two new hilarious crimeshows right after eachother!!!!!!

I'm gonna miss Monk. I mean I liked Psych more but Monk was still awsome. I wonder if Psych is gonna be moved to the 9 O'clock time slot...

I had no idea it was ending, this is news to me. Do you think they will solve Trudy's murder then?

hmmmmmm....... That would be a good ending maybe a two parter like when they faked killing monk

they need to do a crossover episode..or maybe have some of the MONK cast at some point guest-appear on PSYCH.

Knowing they have a season and a half left, they will probably do well tying up all the loose ends. It's one of the nice things about a series ending on their own time, rather than a sudden cancellation (which has left some unfortunate cliffhangers on more than one canceled series in the past, and probably even in the near future). I wouldn't be surprised if they resolve Trudy's murder in some way.

i wonder if they will ever have monk or the monk cast to do some geust apperences on Psych once Monk's canceled...

before would be even better the two would clash and Monk would know he isn't Psychic and probally be able to prove it knowing Monk and though they would clash they both are very observative

Monk is great and i think they shouldnt end it yet. Psych is also great to but i am newer to psych so i dont know much about it.

Monk is good however its just been downhill since the start of this season. The new psychiatrist(SP) isnt really neccisary(SP) and weve seen him what, maybe 3 times? Monks OCD hasnt even gotten better and his signature hand thing is pointless. Natalie is just annoying now.
Psych however is fresh, funny, and every character is likeable and i enjoy it infanitely better than Monk.
