Greetings from the Monk boards (and occasionally the House boards). I've been watching the Starter Wife, only Jesus knowns why, and after (what's it been, like, five epis?) I'm compelled to say this:

No offense to whoever likes this show, but I don't. For one, I hate the sheer soap-operaness of it, and all the useless drama (though the gay guy is pretty cool). I also can't stand the cheap, fake, overindulged Hollywood lifestyle they live, as well as the way Molly basks in it and her own self-indulgement. I also hate the way they sleep around then gossip about it, and i hate the "you're free to have an affair" thing. that was just sick, as well as the booty call thing. Now, I know I sound like a judgemental, superior over-Christianized loser, but I just really hate this show. I honestly don't see why USA is promoting it this strongly.
I hated the spray-on tan moment and the way none of them seem to even give a second thought to the way they're living, and also the whole booty call thing. Some parts are funny, some are just like they're trying to cram down your throat as much 'they're in Hollywood, they're rich, they're sleeping around, they're friends' thing.
And let's not forget the self-involved bimbo herself, Molly (Hartright, is it?) or better known as Debra Messing. Get some freaking perspective and at least get a job that fits your personality and TALENT--a waitress at hooters, or maybe a freaking host for a game show.

Sorry to anyone who likes this show, I just... can't stand it
