It is just me, or has anyone else noticed how out of order the JAG episodes have been for the last week or so? In one episode, Bud is fighting for his life, while in another, he hasn't even been overseas yet. Now today, General Cresswell is on board - nothing prior, like the day before, regarding Admiral Chegwidden's retirement - what gives??
We LOVE our JAG and want to see it continue, of course, but would definitely appreciate some order and continuity to our beloved show, PLEASE!!!
Any comments, fellow JAG fans?

Your apprehensiveness about out-of-order JAG eps is understandable. However, if you watch the entire series, each time a few eps show out of order, JAG's timeless stories will fill you with wonder - sort of like occasionally reminiscing about "the good old days" while trying to live in the present.
USA has been showing JAG for nearly 10 years. I am thankful that USA continues to show any ep of JAG.

Oh, don't get me wrong - I am very thankful for any JAG episodes, too, but I was simply curious if anyone else had noticed the sequencing. These stories are so well written, you're right, and those shows deemed "popular" or "successful" today should take the trip to "the good old days" and see how it's done!

I'm with you, Maggiesmom. I don't understand why episodes are ever shown out of order unless it's for a collection of holiday shows or a fan favorites month.
I am glad, too, that USA keeps JAG on the air.

I have seen probably every episode of JAG, and own the first 2 seasons, But I am also glad that USA shows the episodes still. My fiance doesn't understand why I want to watch shows when I've seen all of them.

I admire your dedication. I own no DVD's and have long since given away tapes. For the present, I am trusting memory and USA. I guess it's sort of like preferring fresh-baked bread v. store-bought. Or, perhaps it's just fear of addiction to something that I think that I love. If JAGgies keep testing me, I'll buy DVD's - and then can stop pretending to know something.
Your fiancé does not understand? Each time we enter JAG we learn something new - see someone or see something in a way we had not appreciated, before. Perhaps it's like a good book that we stumble upon - we read it and then read it, again. If it's really Good - we reread it and underline passages; and then we reread it and use a highlighter on certain words; and then we reread it and use a different color pen/pencil; and then we write marginalia.
BTW - is your fiancé more like Harm or more like Chris/Dalton/Mic?

I'd like to say that he's more like Harm, because I don't like the others much, But he isn't really like any of them. He's very unique!

Actually, no!Both of his parents were in the Navy, and he wanted to join up, but medical problems (and fear of water!) kept him out. He'd be more likely to go Marine if he could, though.

Just explain it's the same reason you want to see him again, when you've already seen him before.

He just hates watching any episodes he's already seen cause he remembers how it ends. Hell, he can recognize an episode 5 seconds in! I enjoy reliving those old episodes, he doesn't. Oh well. His loss!

No problem, just tell him "I gotta get jagged" and maybe he'll be curious enough to join you -
