Didn't Johnny's life already collide with an radio talk show host's life? In Season 3? Since this mentions a conspiracy, I hold out a shred of hope that it's arc-related. Maybe this is a set-up for the testimony in Ep 21.

One think that I liked about "Cold Hard Truth" was how J. Jericho delivered some of that to John. Remember how John kept telling Jericho what he should do and then learned a few things about himself? Loved that ep!

It sounds like they may be setting up the atmosphere for when Stillson becomes VP in 2008. Probably an instance is being created that discredits the current Presidency that will be its downfall OR be the very reason that a third poliitcial party is favored. Remember in the book Stillson started the "America Now" party.
