So I have been watching the 4400 via box sets because I didn't have cable and I just now found out it has been canceled. If it's such a fan favorite why would they cancel it? This show was by far one of the most well writen and direted and inovative show out thier (until Heroes tried to be copy cats). I don't understand WHY they would cancel a show with such a great following. Not like USA has any other great shows, I mean "the starter wife", come on, how many shows about old lonely ugly chicks can america handle?! Its shows like the 4400 that gave me hope that thier were still intelligent, worth while shows to watch......now my hope is crushed. We are not challenged to think outside the box, we are not challenged to ask questions, now we just watch mindless dribble about who the ugly old lady is going to 'do' next. I for one thinks USA should be ashamed of themselves, shame on you USA, shame. You dont know a great thing when you have it, even if the show wasnt making money or just broke even, isnt it worth investing in a little underground movement of a show you can be proud of?





p.s. unless the 4400 is brought back to either t.v. or a movie I will never watch USA again!

Hello there, how are ya? I like the post, it's good to hear from faithful 4400 fans. I do have to say though that USA still has some good shows. One of which being House and the other being Law and Order Criminal Intent. I only rarely watch Law and Order but House is my favorite show right now. Also, there are usually good movies on USA. My point being, I respect your choice to stop watchin but don't think it will change anything or do anything to hurt the network. I agree, cancelling the 4400 was the dumbest decision they made, the next dumbest being cancelling the dead zone, but it can't be undone. My hope is that another network will pick it up for a final season cuz it's been several years and there is no sign of response from USA. Even though they were wrong to cancel the show, I can't say I blame them for not renewing it for a fifth season yet cuz there hasn't been enough of a response from fans of the show. The petition on this board doesn't even have a fraction of enough names to warrant bringin the show back.
I know there are enough plenty of fans out there who want the show back but I don't see anything online that is causing enough stir that makes me think the show will return any time soon. I hope I'm wrong though.

I truly haven't watch USA since Season 4 ended. As for House and CI neither are USA originals. House's regular slot is Tuesdays on FOX 13, USA gets their repeats. CI was a Tuesdays NBC regular until they decided they would only keep SUV and USA took it over and gave it a chance to continue. I see CI's repeats on NBC a lot of times. USA other shows, some of which I use to watch for fun or I had nothing better, don't have enough substance to them to miss seeing them.
