ok I'm new here...I started watching SVU during the summer, and one of my favorite characters is ADA Casey Novak...when was she attacked? Where? Why? How?...I read a fanfic, but I need to know what really happened. I think someone said that the episode was "Night" or something, but I'm not sure if that's right. Can someone please help? Thanks a lot!

the episode was "Night" and she was attacked in her office what happened was it was late at night and olivia is there with casey discussing the case olivia goes out to get her coffee and while she was gone someone came into her office carrying a vase with flowers you don't get to see the persons face but he hurts casey pretty bad and then leaves and like two minutes later olivia comes back to find her

Well... that episode was a crossover... It was a two hour special... the first hour being Law and Order SVU then the second being Law and Order Trial by Law... Id rather not spoil the ending for peopl who did not watch the episode yet...

Yes, that was the episode featuring Angela Lansbury and Alfred Molina, who played Sally Field's husband in "Not Without My Daughter". Stabler thought that Molina's character attacked Novak, but later found out it was a Serbian immigrant who was mad about his sister's rape and blamed Novak for it. Lansbury's character complained to Cragen who then reprimanded Stabler.

wow...too bad its not showing in the SVU marathon...it sound like an awesome episode...

Aw...that episode made me sad. But I was worrying before the episode aired that it was going to be worse, because they were chasing a rapist and all. And her character was fantastic in that episode: she just bounced right back. Until Branch took her off the case, because they needed to get to the crossover part somehow.

I wish they could have show how the attack affected Casey more, since I'm a huge Casey fan and want to know more about her.

man...I just found some episode clips featuring the attack...poor Casey...then there were some clips from the hospital with her and Liv, and she was crying...that was REALLY really sad...

I also think we should know more about how she felt affected by it after it happened...

I think that we should get an episode in which more is said of Casey. I know a lot of you prefer ALEX, but maybe if we knew more of her, more of you would like her...

yeah they need 2 do an episode around her
