I was thinking, if we have to boicot USA, we have to boicot this forum too. Nobody should buy the DVD (not original copies, at least), because the copyright will go to them.
And we should go in the blog created by Pablo, which seems to me the most indicated to become the new "official" forum.
I know it sound strong, especially said by a newby like me.
But I thing it is true. For each visitor in the site they make money.
If we want to boicot them, we must stop visiting this forum.
I hope they will bankrupt. Fail. Close.

The only way we will hurt USA Network is if the ratings drop because nobody is watching it. I know I haven't been. CBS Paramount owns the rights to "The 4400" and they are the ones behind publishing the "4400" books. If you don't buy the DVDs and books it them you hurt. They didn't have to give us these books. USA Network was just, I don't know the term, leasing the "4400"? When they canceled the show all right went back to CBS. And personally I'm thankful that CBS, unlike USA, is giving us something more. So if possible I'm buying anything "4400" they sell that a poor person like myself can afford. I hope every fan does the same.

Like June said, not buying the books and DVDs will actually hurt our cause. The forum doesn't really make a big difference. But, I haven't watched USA for several months, and have been keeping the fam off of it too.

Ok, let me see if I understood well:
1) CBS owns the copyright of anything related to 4400. CBS only.
2) USA is the only responsible for the decision to cancel the serie. CBS did not participated in that decison.

Is like that?
Well, if you tell me, I believe you, but I still do not see how it is possible that USA deleted the serie if CBS did not agree.
Also, I do not understand why if the copyright is of CBS only, and CBS wants the serie to continue, why did it never tried to find another network where to continue the serie? I can't believe that no other network is ready to accept.

So, something is wrong, on my opinion, with CBS too. But please, correct me if I am wrong.

Anyway I never talked of boicotting the books. I just thought that USA must have some interest in the DVD, if they have a banner about them.
Now you tell me that they will not gain anything if we buy those DVD, and I must believe you.
Let me ask this: if USA gains something for each DVD sold, do you still think that we should buy them anyway? I mean, why should we? Do you really believe that if many people (how many???) will buy these DVD, USA will continue the serie? Mmm, mumble mumble...

I still think that we should pubblish a last collective post where we announce that all the actual fans of 4400 decide to never more visit the USA site, and the discussion about 4400 is moved to the "x" site (where "X" is to decide. I vote for Pablo).
The administrator of this "X" site could send a monthly report to USA to let them see that fans are not gone away becouse they are no more interested in 4400, but that they are largely visiting the new "X" site. So we would anyway be able to prove that people love 4400.
About books and DVD, ok, I agree, if many people buy them it will be more obvious that people love 4400, even if, sincerely, among all who love 4400 I do not know how many would like to see again the first 4 season if they already saw them, especially considering that every time they would reach the last season they will suffer again, becouse there is no ending...
And, anyway, we should be TOTALLY sure, 1000%, that USA will not receive half a cent for any DVD or book sold.

Come on, people. DO you want to boicot? Then, boicot. I don't want to see anymore any picture of some fan of the week smiling in USA site. THere is nothing to smile about. Not here. If we want to be a community, let's join all together in Pablo blog, or whatever else (let's vote it), and we can invite there, to discuss with us, the actors and staff of 4400, whom, I suppose, we will not easily see here...
