So "Heroes" is on, and I overhear that someone is working on a formula to give regular people special abilities.

Where have I seen that before? I wonder.

LawL, That's great I watch Heroes now and NOTHING else on USA because of the demise of 4400... You lost my ratings and gave it to another network nice job USA..

MMM, personally I prefer 4400, even if I have not seen yet the 3rd season of heroes. But the 2nd was simply ridiculous, pathetic.
Anyway, if these blind buys of USA will not approve a last season for 4400, what do you think if Heroes meet 4400? It is not at all impossible that they meet. So, the 4400 serie could end there. Yes, not very probable for many reasons.
I just can't accept that these stupids had deleted 4400... Absurd.

lol, I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who hates heroes and who knows that the show is just a glorified rip off of the 4400. I tried tellin someone that who had never seen the 4400 and it was like talkin to a brick wall. Anyways, does anyone here think the success of heroes may have had somethin to do with the show bein cancelled? just a thought. later.

Everything's derivative IMO. You've got The Mentalist which is just a sexier albeit less slapstick, version of Psych. Fringe & 11th Hour have a lot in common with X-Files. And X-men 2 had Magneto trying to turn everyone into mutants so one could argue that 4400 was ripping off an X-men storyline. As long as a story is done well, I don't care where they steal it from.

But Heroes has definitely "jumped the shark". Yet another season where they have to "save the future". Yet another season where someone you thought dead, turns out not to be. IT hasn't happened yet, but I'm betting Hiro is going to go back in time - JUST LIKE LAST SEASON. The problem with Heroes isn't that they're ripping off/borrowing other show's storylines, they're rehashing their own season. I could definitely see this as the last year for Heroes.
